Yes it is. It still remains one of the most comprehensive, original and well written pieces of PUA literature I have ever read (and I have read a LOT). IMO, you should read this as a foundation - use it as your map then piece together everything else from the free information you can find on the internet. Thanks Gem; don’t think there’s a better expert on this topic on the forum than yourself. Eagerly awaiting that publication in 6 months then! 🙂 Less an AFC than a CNBA (could not be a$%^\*) at the moment! Hopefully some of this stuff will inspire me though. I read his free chapter (#3)… seems decent enough. To be honest I think a British/English(As in England) based book will serve me better as the South African sense of homour etc. is far more similar to the English than the Americans. Matt ---

I downloaded the mystery method just to see if i was wasting money, i read parts of it and didn’t like it because social interactions in English and French cannot be translated, Quebec’s dating rules are different and the way you act with women is different. I won’t be buying it. It was a cool short read though. His theories are good. I ALWAYS get a copy of something to see if i like it. If i like, me buy! I’m not here to start a conversation on piracy though, please don’t tell me I’m a pirate and all, i test, then i buy and i will never change until it becomes illegal to do so in Canada. In my opinion, The Venusian Arts Handbook is a good read. It has alot of good theories, but its downside is that it over-complicates social interactions. The other weakness is that it relies heavily on canned lines. After you read the VAH, you should read Juggler Method. He corrects alot of the redundancies found in Mystery Method. After you read that, I’d suscribe to Player Supreme’s podcast archive. He takes it a step beyond Juggler and cuts out all of the unnessecary fluff. Mystery Method is like being a very techical fighter that over-analyzes combat. Juggler Method is like a skilled fighter that is starting to rely on his instincts. While Player Supreme Method is like using the Force. Thats my take on it. ---

i like mm, its the first pua book i picked up. its simple, easy to read, and has some good stuff. only downside is, the 68$ price tag but its worth it
