Hello all! I am 41, live in VA and stumbled upon this site doing a web search for a product I carry in my side business. I started selling sex toys 😃 doing home parties for women to pay my way through college (again) when I found myself single with two boys to care for by myself. My side business has done so well that I am still doing parties regularly to supplement our income - business is booming since I am cheaper than dinner and a movie and everyone is staying home and having sex! We carry a [pheromone perfume](https://phera.com/shop/) oil in our line that is quite delicious smelling and with all the testimonials I receive, appears to be somewhat effective. I am not sure whether this is a placebo effect or merely a confidence booster, but I sell TONS of it. I am confused about the huge sprawl of information on this site! Education is never wasted and I am adamant about learning more about these topics, if, for no other reason than to pass the information to my clients. Most importantly, these pheromones that everyone is discussing, are they synthetic? If not, from whom 😕 or what do they come? I have also seen mention of an “ass cheese odor”, 😮 which is most decidedly not attractive or desirable for me, sexually, professionally or otherwise. This is a concern as well. A post answering these questions and any other beginner questions would be most divine! I saw a few “starter” guides, but didn’t see the answers. This seems like a pretty interesting forum. These [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) are synthetic. They are based from petroleum distillates. Also the cheese smell you may be referring to is Couplins, which aren’t sold here. However, there are many great womens products here like the Instant Sexiness Lines. Welcome to the forum, Marj! Haha, what an interesting side business. Although I suppose they exist, so someone has to run them. This forum definitely contains a wealth of information about pheromones, and it would be awesome if you kept your curiosity alive and were able to contribute even more to it. I think that you would have a fairly unique perspective, given your line of work, and a great opportunity to hear from other people about these sorts of products. While I don’t have the time to find any at the moment, I’m sure there are plenty of threads already written that will answer any questions you might have. Maybe if I have time later, and if someone else doesn’t get around to it first, I can find a thorough thread that explains the basics, as I’m sure they’re out there. For now, I would suggest just reading through threads on the forum, maybe even starting at the beginning when the forum was created and picking threads that look interesting. That’s what I did. I went to the last page of the men’s section and just started reading. There is also a search function which isn’t too hard to use, but it might be a little confusing if you don’t have much experience with forums. I’m sure you’ll learn fast though. As for your question, I believe all of the pheromones sold by Androtics are synthetic. They are created by chemists in labs and so are high-quality and fairly pure, which is awesome. Occasionally, people mention this “ass cheese odor.” I have never actually experienced it myself, though users like Gegogi would have you believe that all pheromones smell like dirty ballsack sweat, piss, excrement, and any number of other horrible things. But he has a point. Pheromones naturally come from the bodies of living organisms and are present in sweat and other secretions. They are designed to be picked up by the olfactory organs (and possibly cranial nerve zero, but that’s a discussion for not now). As such, some of them do have a smell. Androstenone, for instance, smells to some people like urine or body odor. However, other people can’t really smell it at all. Copulins, though not technically a pheromone, are a musk present in vaginal secretions, and thus smell heavenly. (Or not, I suppose, depending on your personal preferences.) But ultimately, I wouldn’t have too much concern, as a good perfume or cologne can cover a lot of the less pleasing odors, if you come across any. Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to see you here - these products could very well be a great addendum to your business. I think P51 and Vespero answered your two main questions pretty succinctly - the pheros are synthetic and the odor came from copulins which are not sold here. Even with the smell the ladies really like the effects of copulins and find a way to cover the scent with perfume. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. ---

I ordered “[Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/)” from the great reviews by women and have tried it. It has a very masculine smell, almost too “perfumy” for me - just a spray on my wrist. They sent me a to go version of honesty, but it’s the one for men. I guess they thought I was a boy since I ordered the shine. Any suggestions would be divine. I am so overwhelmed by this site and there isn’t a lot of time to keep searching for hours to find out something! So lost…:o ---

The Instant Sexiness products for women are quite nice. There are two, A and B. IS/a will give you more of a strong sexy vibe, think Angelina Jolie. IS/b will imart more of a soft sexy kittenish vibe, think Marilyn Monroe. Let me guess you were looking for “Pure Instinct?” I used to work for a “toy boutique” and we sold that stuff. I don’t know how it could possibly work, being a “unisex” product. Check out the guides in the mens and womens sections they give a good “quick and dirty” rundown on everything. ---
