This quote from Steve in another thread got me thinking.

If anything has been shown from the last few years of feedback on this forum it is that there is no one mix that does everything for everyone.

How often have we seen something like

Women buying cosmetics know better. They try to get products that work for them. Not “UNIVERSAL LIPSTICK! THE PERFECT COLOR AND SHADE FOR EVERYONE ON EVERY OCCASSION.”

Why not market these [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/) to the subpopulations for which they are appropriate? The trick would be how to define the subpopulations. You could use descriptors like:

Pop A - Men over 30 looking for a LTR.

Or you could have potential users take a test that would result in them being classed into a subpopulation.

Or it could be a computer-driven classification test that would result in a product recommendation.

At the most complex level it would be a computer-driven classification test that would result in the generation of a unique mix for the user based on personality, description of relations, and goals. This would of necessity be a more expensive product, but Androtics might get some dedicated customers who appreciated their own personalized mix.

Gone, that’s probably a good idea. Although I don’t think such a thing could really replace the forums. After a couple of days browsing the forums, it’s obvious even to a n00b like me that your fictional example should be using Instant Shine or [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/). I think the pheros are really for people with above-average intelligence, because it takes a bit of experience and skill to use them effectively.

Bump… I think we need more discussion on this subject

I was thinking that something similar to the way eHarmony classes it users or even a Briggs-Meyers classification could be effective

Everyone reacts differently to [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/), and so do their phero sigs. You would have to be making a very specific subpopulation that the product works for. Then there’s the customer’s targets. So there’s a LOT of details to making products specifically for a subpopulation. If you’re looking for customization to your own body and targets, there’s the putatives, experimentals and the experimone series. Just like how one mix won’t work for one target, one mix may not work for an entire subpopulation.
