I had posted about Dead Sea perfumes once…

Well a friend went to Jerusalem and over there he managed to buy the precise exact anointing oil used for Christ’s Burial.. I smelt it and it really smelt great. (ok not sure about using it on a date though!)

I wonder if anyone here would either know this so called ‘secret’ recipe, to replicate this 🙂
or perhaps it could be the same as one of the oils sold by the company I mentioned:
[Anointing Oil - Scent of Jerusalem](http://www.scentofjerusalem.com/anointing-oil-c-22.html)

As per this site
[The History of the Burial of Jesus - Associated Content](http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/189783/the_history_of_the_burial_of_jesus.html)
it should be one with myrhh and aloe for sure..

I think it should be the one with myrhh but there’s one with myrhh and frankinsense…

I think myrrh and frankincense are what two of the three wise-men brought to Jesus’ birth. I’d be curious to know if they anointed him with that.

I guess if you believe as I do, it didn’t really matter what they put on him after he died, cause he showed them all up when he rose from the dead and blessed those who crucified him.

Definitely, steveo!
But the smell of this oil was really good.. my friend would go crazy if he knew the “secret” of this recipe… just that, nothing more..
