**Who** : I am a Chinese gay male in Singapore. **Why** : I don’t have what it takes in the looks department and I am rather shy when meeting new people. So I hope pheromones can make me more approachable and get people to start taking notice of me. **What** : I purchased a bottle of [Mystery Boy](https://a314.com/product/mystery-boy/) Here goes… **30 Jan 2015** **Pheromone** : Mystery Boy **Overall Scent** : A fresh and crisp scent. Uplifting and ‘clean’. It has an “After Shower” feel, maybe because it reminds me of a fragrance from a shower foam. **6.00pm** Administrated 1 spray of Mystery Boy on my neck before heading out. Instantly, I was smiling! 😃 Not sure if it was due to the excitement of using it for the first time or due to the effects of the pheromones. I was really happy! **6.10pm** Boarded a bus to the city. Fairly crowded bus with several other perfumes lingering from other passengers. Interestingly, Mystery Boy’s scent is still present unlike other brands of eau de toilette that seem to ‘disappear’ after a few minutes of wear (I read that it’s because the nose gets ‘used’ to the scent and thus couldn’t detect it.) Mystery Boy is still ‘going strong’. No significant reactions from the passenger sitting beside me or those standing around me. **6.50pm** Met up my gay friend (passive/more bottom role) for dinner at a restaurant/bar. Conversations proceeded as per normal and there was no significant reactions from him, other patrons or wait staff. **8.15pm** Left the restaurant and proceed to a mall for some shopping. No reactions observed from sales staff or from my friend. **8.45pm** We shared a taxi and I dropped him off on route home. Chatted as per usual in the cab and no significant reactions within close proximity. **Overall review:** Only had some positive reactions on myself when I used it for the first time but nothing was observed from my friend and people around me throughout the evening. Is it because Mystery Boy works better on more masculine/top gay men? Or is it because 1 spray on neck is not enough to elicit any response from any one? Hmmm… ---

**31 Jan 2015** **Pheromone** : [Mystery Boy](https://a314.com/product/mystery-boy/) **3.40pm** Administered 1 spray on neck. No positive effects observed on myself unlike the first time I used Mystery Boy (I was smiling ear to ear!). Feeling a tad grumpy as the weather was extremely warm. **4.30pm** Reached the city and met my gay friend, let’s call him “_GB_” (early 30s, active/top role) in town for some shopping. No initial reactions or comments from him. Is it because I’ve known him since we were 13 years old, so there was no effect on him? There were lots of people in the malls as it is sale season but nothing unique was observed from the sales staff nor the shoppers. No sales staff was especially nice or chatty, no one stealing glances or mentioned anything about my fragrance. **7.30pm** Another gay friend “_BC_” (mid 20s, active/top role) joined us for dinner. Conversations flowed smoothly between the three of us but that was the norm. Nothing was mentioned about how I smell, the conversations were not really focused on me. It just felt like our usual normal get-together dinner. **8.45pm** Decided to administer one more spray of Mystery Boy on my neck. We entered a lift and _GB_ twitched his nose and waved his hand in front of his face as if he smelt something unpleasant. Was it Mystery Boy that he smelt? It was in an enclosed environment and the scent was really quite strong. I wonder if it smell good or nasty to him? **9.00pm** We went on to have coffee at Starbucks and chatted for another 30 minutes. This time I wasn’t really communicative even though I just sprayed Mystery Boy 15 minutes ago. _GB_ and _BC_ were chatting while I listened passively. **9.30pm** _GB_ and I shared a cab home. We just chatted about serious topics such as the strong Singapore dollar versus other currencies and the rise of property prices in Singapore. ☹ I thought these topic were a tad too serious for a Saturday night. **Overall review:** I was quite disappointed. Increased from 1 to 2 sprays of Mystery Boy but no self effects or effects on others observed. What do you all think? Do you get days of no ‘activity’ when you wear your pheromones? Am I supposed to use all over to see some effects? Is just 1 spray on the neck too conservative? Hope to hear what you all think. Thank you! ---

I would say just go for the 2 sprays per shot (instead of 1). Usually the sprays are perfectly dosed at 2 sprays per 4-6 hours of usage. The effects should get more noticeable then. If you go to 3-4 sprays and still don’t see any effects, then I think we should take a better look at the behavior of gay man. More and you just get into the OD range, which is also not good. ---

Thank you Mr Seeker. Maybe I should have 1 spray on my neck and another at the back of my neck. Will try again when I head out for a night of drinks where people are more open and social. The other thing at the back of my mind could be the general behaviour of Singaporeans. We don’t really walk up to strangers to create small talk. We tend to mind our own business. Maybe that could be an explanation to my experiences mentioned above. ---

Now I know why lots of people say [Mystery Boy](https://a314.com/product/mystery-boy/) works well in a club. I had the best party ever! Read about it below! **6 Feb 2015** **Pheromone** : Mystery Boy **6.50pm** - Administered 1 spray on neck and 1 spray on the collar bone **7pm** - Went for my hair appointment and I wanted to ‘test’ out the if Mystery Boy has any effects on my hair stylist who is gay. Unfortunately, he was extremely busy that day, attending to several customers at the same time. I think he was too busy to notice anything and didn’t had time to engage in a proper conversation with me. Hair cut was completed in just 30 minutes instead of the usual 1 hour. Nothing significant observed. **8.20pm** - I was walking around the mall, waiting for my friend, _GB_ to arrive for dinner. Walked past one guy at a juice stall and we exchanged glances. Did Mystery Boy work it’s magic?! Heehee… He’s cute but we just proceeded to walk our own paths. **8.24pm** - After a few steps and another boy looked at my direction! Not sure if he is gay but I’m getting a couple of glances… They better be looking at me for the right reasons! **8.45pm** - _GB_ arrived and we sat down for dinner. Pretty normal, nothing unusual happened. **9.30pm** - After dinner, we bought a cup of gelato to share and sat on a bench to chat. _GB_ sat next to me elbow to elbow which was surprisingly odd. Usually, it is normal to give some personal space so I thought that was not the norm. _Ding Ding! Mystery Boy again?!_ **10.30pm** - We decided to go to a gay club for some drinks and I used another spray of Mystery Boy on my neck. WOW! This was one of the best party nights I’ve ever had! The boss of the club started talking to me, buying me drinks and I felt like a VIP. Then people started noticing me with the boss and two boys came up to talk to me! Usually, I will be left in a corner while _GB_ puts on his social butterfly persona and goes around talking to people. But this time round, there were people that I don’t know walking up to say hi! I was definitely more chatty than usual and I guess the positive effects of Mystery Boy spreads to others too. It’s a pity I didn’t get any phone numbers from the people I met, but I’m sure I’ll be going back to the club soon to make new friends! ---

I usually use 2 sprays of MB and pherx . Im.honestly looking for an alternative of that. I’m not even sure what mones is in there. Lol. But very good reaction from both. I just have to use more of the pherx because I feel like it’s not strong enough ---

Hi Bullet, Well, I am not so sure on the efficacy of Pherx although I have both the spray and oil version. Does nothing for me and the people around me… I do mix it with [Mystery Boy](https://a314.com/product/mystery-boy/), but I doubt it has any significant effects… One thing to note is that this forum is managed by SmartMones/Androtics so you won’t get much help/feedback on other brands of pheromones here. Hi Everyone! I have been extremely busy at work and didn’t have time to update my journal. A brief update… I used [Mystery Boy](https://a314.com/product/mystery-boy/) on several occasions and from a simplistic observation standpoint, I think Mystery Boy only works when I am wearing it in an air-conditioned environment or during cool weathers in Singapore (which is on rainy days). I think the humidity and the extreme heat here in Singapore (we are smack on the equator) is not helping with the full effects of pheromones. And it is impossible for one not to perspire in Singapore… The moment I stepped out of the office building and bam! the heat just hits you like a punch. As such, I don’t seem to see much effects from Mystery Boy if I am wearing it out on most days. At a recent beach party, I used up to 4 spritz and still no effects… I guess perspiration and humidity ‘dilutes’ the effects of the pheromone especially on the beach even though the dance party is at night. I guess I will only use MB when I get a chance to go clubbing or to a house party where I am indoors most of the time. Anyone has any luck or advise on what I should try? Oil based pheromones? ---

Pheromone: [Mystery Boy](https://a314.com/product/mystery-boy/) **10.00pm** - Administered 2 sprays on neck before entering a club **10.15pm** - Already feeling the ‘smiley’ self effects. I can feel as if I am more cheerful and hyper. Friends arrive and we started chatting. **10.30pm** - Realised that my friends are more chatty with me. My friend brought a straight girl to the club, we’ve met a couple of times but didn’t really talk much as she has this air of arrogance around her usually. Today she seemed friendlier and started talking to me! **11.15pm** - Nothing much happened since then and decided to administer another spray on my neck. **12.00am** - Friends had fun dancing around. So I received my first bottle of [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) and is hoping that this is something I can use in everyday situations while Mystery Boy will become my staple when I hit the clubs at night. Therefore, I took it to the gym and decided to test it there. 😃 **30 Nov 2015** **Pheromone** : Instant Shine **Overall Scent** : A fresh citrusy scent. You can’t go wrong with anything lemony/orangey. **7.40pm** Administrated 1 spray of Instant Shine on my neck after I finished showering, and this pheromone is not called INSTANT SHINE for nothing. IMMEDIATELY, I feel the self effects hitting me. I smiled to myself in the mirror and the next second, I heard my name being called… **7.41pm** A straight friend who works as an editor of a magazine called out to me. Usually, I will be quite mellow/professional with my conversations with him, I mean… he exudes this charisma and confidence all the time, and obviously, being well-groomed, eloquent, fit and handsome is kinda intimidating to a guy like me. But guess what? I spoke to him about something casual i.e. year end vacations (our conversations are usually about work) and I can feel a sense of excitment in my voice, the tempo is faster (not in a nervous way) and the pitch slightly higher. I was staring into his eyes and smiling (not in a freaky way Hahahah!). I feel as though we were close friends chatting. **7.45pm** He started asking me for advice on accomodations and places to go in Bangkok as he planned a trip there in December and I was happily rattling on and on. I couldn’t stop! **7.50pm** I had to excuse myself as I have a dinner appointment at 8pm and we parted ways. Subsequently, we continued our conversations via SMS which I thought is a good effect from IS. **8.05pm** Met up my friend for dinner and he realised something was not right with me. I was talking NON STOP… and I realised I was talking in a slightly kiddish manner, full of facial expressions, excitment and exaggeration at some points of the conversation. I don’t know if it was because it was applied on my neck and I am getting OD (but from just 1 spray?) My friend had to stop me and said if I had taken something wrong, I was acting like an 18 year old boy, talking ‘nonsense’ and laughing too much over dinner. **9.00pm** My friend then sent me home in his car and I decided to tone it down a bit since we are in an enclosed and small environment. But I can still feel the ‘happy’ light hearted feeling from that 1 spray of IS. **Overall review:** IS works but I think it made me act like a kid! I get excited over small things, which I usually don’t. I like that it made me chatty and smiley but I need to learn how to control the excitement in my voice and actions. Maybe I should spray it on my wrists instead? ---

Nice report! It takes four sprays for me to feel that way, so I got IShine in 4x. It makes me feel like a kid going to Disneyland! Yeah, try it on your wrists. That might lessen the self-effects. Maybe spray some on your friend too! ---

Nice journal and I am glad to see more gay men around here. So if you get MB I am curious as to what kind of results you get. I have been actually testing IS/A and IS/B to see what kind of hits I get from men and women. I have found that my gay friends respond very well to [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/). I haven’t tried A314 and IG, but I do think Hank has had really good luck and you should check out his journal. ---

This time round I tried the A314/SP/A for a job interview with a CEO. He is from Germany and is in town to survey the market and meet with industry folks. **2 Dec 2015** **[Pheromone](https://a314.com/)**: A314/SP/A **Overall Scent** : A modern orangey scent. **4.45pm** Administrated 1 spray of A314 on my neck and on right wrist. I walked to the lobby lounge and ask for a corner seat. **4.55pm** I flipped the menu and subsequently ordered a drink. I spoke to the waitress in a professional manner and felt a little superior in the way I speak to her. But I was still polite nontheless. Why do I feel this way? **5.05pm** The CEO arrived and I gave him a smile and a firm handshake. He removed his jacket and sat down. I asked if it is okay for me to remove my jacket as well and he said okay. Hold on a second, this is not me at all, especially in an interview! I would have worn the jacket despite the humid weather throughout an interview. Is it because I felt that I am on the same level as the CEO which is why I have the courage to remove my jacket at the interview? Is this due to A314? **5.10pm** We started talking and I realised it is more of a conversation than an interview. I was confident and I asked him questions about his directions and strategies. The CEO then took out a deck and started to go through the slides, one by one to me, he took out his phone and showed me photos… It felt as though he prepared a presentation for me instead of an interview. I started sharing my thoughts about his strategies and gave several ideas. The CEO was impressed 🙂 **5.35pm** 30 mins gone by and the CEO started to take down notes about what I said and he kept nodding and was a bit quiet. After I finished what I had to say, he said, “You should be in my marketing department! You are a great marketing guy!”. Feeling more relaxed and confident, I replied that he should fly me to Germany straight away! **5.45pm** He had to leave and he said he enjoyed the interview and will follow up with me on the position when he is back in Germany. End of interview! **Overall review:** I definitely felt more superior, confident and chatty with A314. Even though the CEO did ask me things which I am not experienced in, I was brave and candid about it. I told him, I don’t know about this and I am not aware of that. I did not feel nervous or anxious that I don’t have the answer etc. The best thing is I was able to share something else that is similar and provided answers that impressed him. Very Nice interview. So do you think at anytime he felt a “Threat” at all vibe from the A314? I know if I wear to much the A314 Rev 32 oil like 4 drops solo this is the kind of vibe I get.
