Article from the Huffington Post: After reports surfaced last month that Lady Gaga wanted her fragrance to smell like blood and semen, Gaga set the record straight on Australia’s “Kyle and Jackie O” radio show. She explained, “No, no, no. Actually the perfume smells like an expensive hooker.” Oh. Ok, then. Our bad on the misinformation. She added, “I wanted to extract sort of the feeling and sense of blood and semen from molecular structures, so that’s where [the rumors] came from and that is in the perfume but it doesn’t smell like that.” And the blood part was taken out of Gaga’s own blood sample. Certainly a must-have for Spring beauty! At first, we couldn’t believe this interview was real…but there are plenty of photos of the songstress in the studio with the deejays. Yanno, I remember back when Kiss was at the height of their popularity and the cut a deal for Marvel Comics to put out a Kiss comic with real drops of the band members blood added to the red ink. It was like one drop from each band member in a vat of red ink the size of a swimming pool. Which is probably what the Lady Gaga perfume will be like. Figure it takes a couple of drops of EO in a 30 ml bottle to produce a noticeable scent so one drop in a tank is so small as to be almost nonexistent. I give her props though. Her fans will likely buy the perfume even if it smells like baby diapers, curry and burnt hair. It’s the world we live in these days. Better to have a novelty gimmick that has some shock value than a good product. In all fairness I’m not saying the final product will be bad, it may even be quite good…just that it’s sad that somebody has to resort to a really tacky marketing ploy in order to make sure it gets attention. ---

Wow. I never liked lady gaga for this exact reason. She tries so hard to be talked about and she tries way too hard to portray herself in a certain way it pisses me off so much. I won’t be buying her perfume, no matter how much i wanted to smell like an “expensive hooker.” ---

ROTFLMBO That angelic? 🙄 C’mon now, Treytrey. Ya know better’n that! 😉 You know, it does bring to mind being taught how to apply my stage makeup when I first did a serious role in college. The others (much more experienced) kept telling me, “More makeup! Darker! No, keep going.” Finally they just said, “Think hooker.” I got it right after that…⭕p:roll\_eyes: ---
