I’m sure you’ve all heard of the “Law of Unintended Consequences”; where you take an action expecting one thing to happen and something else unexpected also happens. Well in the California elections, we had Proposition 8, which was supposed to ban gay marriage. Well, the voters passed it yesterday. The proposition changes California’s constitution to read “marriage shall _only_ be recognized as between _one_ man and _one_ woman”. Now _somewhere_ in California, there’s _one_ man _legally_ married to _one_ woman, but for the rest of us…😮

You have to be really careful how you word laws…🙄

that sucks for all the women who married men.
