I need to win over a girl’s father. We’re 16 and without the approval of her father she wouldn’t be allowed to date anyone. She’s never had a boyfriend, and though she has feelings for me she’s afraid to act on them. Her dad is a military man and scary as hell. I get good grades, am known by the community to be intelligent, talented, and ambitious (there words not mine), but I’m also known to be a bit of a troublemaker. Unless you truely are going to join the marines (for yourself not for this girl) do not lie to him and tell him you are. Your young but suppose you really end up falling for this girl long term. Its not going to go over well later for you that you lied or tried to manipulate him. It will come back to bite you in the ass. Plus he is not an idiot, he will know your saying it to get to his daugther. Wear IG and IH and ask her father if you can take her out. If you have trouble blurting shit out with IH wear it to the back of your body. Dont have her ask him or have her even there when you ask. Be specific as to where you want to take her. Do not tell him you want to be her boyfriend. Call it a date. Something like \>\>\>\> I would like to take her to the movies then out for something to eat then I will bring her directly home. If he says yes, then stay exactly on the plan you told him. Or if you still cant drive arrange the date and have your parents or hers either do the pick up and drop off. Another option is depending on your family dynamic is asking if she can have dinner at your house with your family. Then of course return her home. She can also ask if she can have you over her house for dinner with her family. I know it seems old fashion but its about building his trust for you and showing him respect. This way he will be more comfortable letting her date you. It still may not work, he may be totally set in his rules. Marines can be very disiplined but they can adapt and overcome so its worth a try. Tisha ---

I’m not going to go for trying to date his daughter right away, I’m going to start attending his church so I can regularly interact with him and then somewhere in the near future try to explain my feelings for his daughter. Haha well I’ve honestly never given church a chance, and if doing that has added benefits then I dont see why not? I’m a little afraid of [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) haha, what purpose does it serve here? I feel like he’ll just honestly kick my ass. What impression would IG/IS give or A314/IS? And could someone describe the difference between A314 and IG? ---

It’s like trying to be Alpha male OVER him. Not what you want to do if you’re trying to date his little girl. IG is (from what it have read) kinda like A314 but not as strong. I don’t know if that would be a good choise or not. But honestly I think Tisha is correct. Be yourself and go to him and respectfully ask if you can take his daughter out. Remember though this is his LITTLE GIRL and he was your age at one time and knows what most boys are thinking about. Good luck dude. ---

Yes - A314 is a very mature, sometimes severe/standoffish, high-status product. Much more the signal of an equal, not a young lad. IG however is a much lighter, more smart and sociable signal that is far better suited to your age. Along with IH, which also promotes bonding and connection - This seems the better mix to me by far. ---

IH is not about spilling the truth. That’s just the name. The reason some people just blurt out personal stuff they usually wouldn’t discuss is because of the feeling it inspires. Because your aware of the IH you will have more control over that aspect. It evokes a feeling of connection, trust and confidence. I dont mean you will fell more confident. IG will help there but it fosters a feeling in him of being confident in you. Tisha ---

you don’t really need 'mones to win over her father, spend time with him, with her around him and show him you are a decent upstanding guy. work on your homework together at the kitchen table, and actually do a good job, just behave like a gentleman and show him you are not the hormone filled teenager he sees you as. Worst Case, get a job, offer to help with the dishes, help her mother with projects around the house, basically whatever it takes to win over her parents. Then she will dump you because they are forcing her to be with you. Ok, live story aside, I would go with IH and IG, in light applications, should work best around the 'rents. ---

Haha I guess that’s a good way of approaching it, but what if I’m not a fine upstanding guy 😕 But seriously from what she’s said it seems like even upstanding guys would have trouble, I mean she’s never had a boyfriend.
