OK, now, ladies and gents, let’s behave.
Examine, are you suggesting TAL/TAH to me or Lor?
Lor, a great way to dialate your pupils at will is to - oh, wait, maybe I shouldn’t tell you that.
Now then. I have another day’s worth of experimental interestingness to extoll upon.
Today I did a shoot with a friend of mine’s friend. We were doing a shoot for a CD cover, and she was supposed to be nude according to the wishes of the client. So, I put on five or six sprays of Seduction, and went off to work.
Now when I met the model, I instantly knew that she was not interested in me. She had an attitude that “he’s male, he’s probably a loser”, but I only smiled. She’s not really my type, but I was looking forward to seeing how Seduction worked, if at all. Keep inmind, I follow Rules # 1, 2 and 3 to a tee:
- Never screw the client.
- Never screw the client. (That way either.)
- Never screw your models.
So she was never in danger of a screwing, total or otherwise.
Anyway, the shoot was supposed to be done in an old crappy room that had decent lighting, but everything else was all wrong. One of my main backdrops ended up getting drity, and the other got stained. (Damn, I just bleached it, too!) The girl had a nice body, but she wasn’t really photogenic, and she was anything but in the mood for the kind of expressions I was after.
So, I’m working with her, and using my “everything’s calm and OK” voice. During the beginning of the shoot, she says she can’t give me the CFM look because she’s just not in the mood. She wasn’t willing to get in the mood with a room full of guys around, either, so I just winged it and made it a playful experience. Something is better than nothing.
Then she started doing things that told me she was not necessarily telling the truth. She was giving me some interesting looks, which would go away when I ducked behind the camera, so out came the cable release. She also started playing with a nipple, which I didn’t ask her to do. That stopped the second she realized what she was doing.
So we did about 77 shots, and nothing was going right. I decided, better to stopwithout boring the girl to tears and try again another time, than to bore the girl to tears and kill any chance of getting the shot I need.
On the way to a fast food restaraunt afterwards, she told us she was horny. I said, “What?! Where the hell did this come from? Why didn’t you tell me that before?”
Well, as it turned out, she was feeling shy in front of the camera, but she’d been aroused ever since the beginning of the shoot. “And that voice!” she said to me.
“What voice?” I had not realized I was using my relaxation voice. (AKA hypnosis voice, aka seduction voice)
“God, you have a sexy voice! I think that’s what got me going.”
I asked when she started getting aroused, and as it turns out, she was getting aroused the minute we were indoors, without a draft, and she was getting turned on before I started using the voice. Score one for the pheros.
I figured she must be bi, and later on after the shoot, I was proven correct. She told us she was equally attracted to both men and women.
Interesting.
Oh, and you should have seen it. My friend was being so subservient, she might as well have put a leash on him. I was cool and aloof, uninterested, and playful. She got mad at him for not introducing us sooner. I think it was major brownie points in her mind, too, that I knew what all her tattoos were of. (One was a crop circle design, and one was a mandala.)
I’m going to try this again for tomorrow’s re-shoot wearing A314 and LAM and see what happens.
