I was just wondering about the side-effects on a person of using the alcohol-based pheromones and colognes over a long-term period.

I’ve read somewhere previously, though I cannot remeber where, that some of what we spray onto our skin is absorbed into our bloodstream. Seeing that the pheremones and even regular colognes tend to be more alcohol-based, is there the possibility of high amounts of alcohol entering our bloodstream with frequent repeated usage of [pheromone sprays](https://a314.com/product-category/spray-pheromones/) and colognes?

I don’t want to sound too alarmist, or too panicky, but it is common knowledge the effect of alcohol on long-term alcoholics and all the damage it can do to one’s internal organs, mostly toxicity of the liver.

It’s probably being sprayed on the skin in such small amounts anyway that it may not have any effect like this at all, but I’m just curious if anyone knows about any long term side effects to people who repeatedly use alcohol-based cologne sprays and pheromone sprays.

On all accounts, I may be wrong in my assumptions though, but I’m just curious.

In all likelihood, the alcohol evaporates before it has any chance of being absorbed.

Thanks for the reply.

That sounds like what i was assuming as well, but wasn’t sure, as I’ve heard all these negative effects about things entering the bloodstream that shouldn’t be there. And i do know that these products are made from alcohol carriers, and alcohol consumption is directly known to effect the liver.

Any one else care to share their opinions/knowledge on this?

hi 🙂

its a perfectly valid question and i can assure you that it evaporates really quickly for it to be absorbed under normal conditions. maybe if you were exercing with it on in which case the pores would be open. however, even in this situation the body would be working on to excrete fluid out from your body, not taking it in.

hope this helps 🙂

I never wondered about what you asked, but I have wondered if there could be any detrimental effects on your natural [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/) output from using 'mones…

Its a reasonable question.

The alcohol will evaporate well before you absorb it but suppose some did absorb. Using them daily for one year would be the equivalent of having one tiny sip of beer. Not nearly enough to make your liver fall out.

The [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) molecules diffuse away from the body as they do in nature and do not enter the blood stream. They have no effect on your own pheromone output.

Thanks Remmy and Tisha for the replies.

Yes, my mind is a lot more at ease now that I know it evaporates too quickly before too much alcohol can be absorbed into the bloodstream.
