I really love the effects of [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/). Now that I’ve found one’s that are great for wearing during the day (such as A314), I use them 5 days a week. Sometimes I wonder if they are healthy to the wearer when used consistently. I know some of them are natural. But they are in much higher amounts and some have ‘drug like’ effects on the wearer. Does anyone have any insight into this?

I have been using Alpha A314 for 3 days now, am already hooked, I feel like shit if I’m not wearing it just after my shower. I believe that if I wear Alpha A314 for a few months and then don’t wear it, I believe sex will be less good. Sex seems 10 times better with Alpha A314. Perhaps you will feel depressed after not taking it for a while, but this remains pure speculation, I will eventually not apply any to test this theory out. I might be all wrong; it might change your brain’s “brain waves” to a different frequency or something and make you permanently happy due to…🙄

A reverse, counterintuitive theory about health

Here goes… chew on this one for a while… as a general observation, many people are systematically degraded by their work environments, general cruddyness and mediocrity of “culture” available to them, eat a lot of junk crap, don’t get adequate sleep, and beyond the hormone surge of the mid 20s, their sex lives, to put it mildly, leave a lot to be desired… it ain’t a pretty picture, that’s the corporatized life of the 21st century for ya… often miserable and routine and depressing… and who ya gonna call ? I’d surmise that most of our downtrodden bodies are generating pheromonal signals that are the social message equivalent of “dude, this so massively sucks” … a really good refreshing breeze of upbeat, optimistic, hormonally balanced, sexually dynamic, in possession of one’s good stuff, on a roll, world in the palm of your hand level of pheromones has become a freakin’ rarity… when poor average grunty knotmuscle corporate serf gets hit upside the schnozz with a lightning bolt of fuckuous life affirming take this job and shove it reconnection to the fundamental frequecies of the neanderthal psychic leftovers it’s like, **holyshitdamngetdownIfeltthatsomethingwickedinmybuttcheeksman…**
Often when i get my phero mixes right I just feel healthy, balanced, like nature intended, not bent in an unnatural direction, far from it, much more like I have been adjusted back to where my glandular plane needs to be if I’m going to be a tmy best, not wired, not jacked up and glazed over, just connected, on my game, feeling physically and psychologically whole and intact… my surmise is that pheromones are essentially health and endocrine balance promoting agents that stimulate physiologically appropriate responses with the users own endocrine axes… which is totally unlike, diametrically opposed to the effects of abusive oral or injection dosings for performance enhancement, which the body cannot correctly adjust for as these agents are so wildly outside of normal physiologic ranges, and over time, unless administed with the greatest care, royally fuck you up… pheromones, on the other hand, appear to energize the body’s natural responses, within the ranges of function which are natural and healthy for that body… think about it, strong, clear sexual drives are an indicator of fundamental health, as are strong, clear social drives… these have to be balanced with equally strong, clear evaluative and inhibitory signals from the frontal lobes of the brain, when in balance equals a satisfying, balanced, healthy existence… when sexually or orgonically deenergized we are blah and two dimensional, without passion, just automotons dragging ourselves from day to day, when mentally unregulated, we are loudmouth jackasses and social idiots, but when the two power centers of the vital being are working together in tune, we are both hot and graceful, and all the doors of life open to us.

there is no doubt on 'mones i am feeling hot and graceful.
i only wish there was an easier way to know if i am percieved that way, lol.
i think when there are alot of us that treat our 'mones with respect, play with them and at the same time dose them correctly, the world truely is a better place. i for one would like to see more people chattier, smiling without reason, and wanting to do me (j/k) but i think the only potential “health hazzard” here is the goobers that feel more is better (not talking an accident here, im talking old-lady-with-a-new-bottle-of-her-favorite-perfume heavy, and the peeps who think they can wear lots of 'none around kids when clearly a kid can short-circuit and truely be hurt. i guess that fell into the catagory of short-term, sorry.

Look, kids are now being medicated with amphetamine analogs in epic numbers

Way, way, way, way freakier is the number of kids now diagnosed with a plethora of behavioral disorders we never heard of when I was a kid, for which there is a veritable armamentarium of drugs… relatively speaking, pheromones are a mild tint of difference. So, one might reasonably inquire, what izzit, environmentally, socially, culturally, whatever that makes this society wide doping of kids necessary ? How is it that so many kids are as screwed up as all that to require this much medicine in the first place ? And what is the medicine itself doing to them long term ? One thing is that pheromones are essentially **physiologic** substances, the human organism is designed to deal with them from the ground up, they are part of our genetic heritage, where the medicines are metabolically foreign, **pharmacologic** substances. Yet our society appears to have no difficulty accepting short term payoffs, like sitting still in school, for long term unknowns… and, adolescents are notorious pheromone generators, which also I am sure accounts for a great amount of variegated adolescent behavior… so if a young kid spends time with a bunch of teenagers, either where there is a degree of sexual arousal, like at a dance or rave, or competitive arousal, like an indoor sporting event (you will notice even normally level headed adults behaving like raving maniacs at some of these… anyone care to hazard a guess what might be modulating this behavior ?) that kid is being exposed to a collective emission equivalent to a single individual engaging in a massive overload of pheromones… the only critical differentiating factor is how his behavior will be contextually evaluated… if the kid is behaving in a way that would be seen as appropriate or good fun or playing along wiht the big folks at a sporting event, **we interpret that as a positive sign of good socialization, even if (and most probably is) that kid’s behavior is being influenced by the pheromonal output of the other members of the crowd**… atta boy! that’s the spirit ! Now, if the same kid gets a snootful of the same pheromonal material in a different context and starts acting rowdy and wants to whoop it up while mom and dad want to enjoy a nice quiet afternoon of prozac, infomercials, beer, and taco chips which think the kid has ADD and should be seeing the doctor… but the kid is manifesting the same behavior, which is probably healthy energetic behavior in a kid, he just hasn’t matured to the point where his brain closely aligns context and social expression…

The finer issue is what pheromones change in our own bodies, surge/repression of hormone levels & “lighting up that part of the brain”. Sketchy at best. Hope we don’t have to deal with the type of problems body-builders have.

It’s fair : while our audience gets enamored & wet (must be some hormones congregating & pulling the gonad extremes), our own bodies must have a corresponding equivalent (gender specific).

-none always get me hot & raging in the head, like I could rip the spine out of someone 😮

While I’m sure mones have a significant impact on our bodies, I’m more concerned with all the stuff they give the cows that make the milk we drink.

We are playing with stuff that nobody truly understands yet. If this bothers you, don’t use mones.

based on extensive bllod tesing in myself

I order my own blood tests, far more detailed than any doctor will specify, and throughout my history of using pheromones, and from the period before I used pheromones, there is no observable endocrine change in me, my PSA, DHEA, androgens, estrogens, SH binding globulin, progestrone, thyroid function, cortisol, liver enzymes, blood cells, all remain pretty much in their tight ranges, with some adjusments for nutritional supplements… in other words, no matter how much of the stuff I use, there has been, in me, absolutely not one iota of endocrine change… you can be sure that any performance enhancing athlete who dopes will show dramatic changes, especially as his liver will taking a hit, not to mention his gonads.

In the hard to quantify department, there is something about good sex that appears to be intimately related to peak health. Look around, people with great sex lives usually are people with healthy emotional lives, and they just look springy and on the ball… this has got to be a dilaectical relationship… good sex must realease a number of pro-survival chemical messengers throughout the brain and body, which produce bodily signals of attitude, posture, pheromones, clarity of thought that lead to… more sex… which leads to… better health… which leads to…

I opine that this is why a crafty sexmix of strong -mones applied right before sex could possibly be one of the optimal approaches to the sex-health-consciousness enhancement cycles of existence… because you’re not being overly habituated to the mones through constant exposure, you get a good blast of them at the critical moment that tells the primitive brain that this is the moist monkey moment and Hump Away !!! … after that it is really the brain doing the work of unloading a cascade of things we probably won’t sort out for the next twenty years, endorphins, enkephalins, anandamides, prostoglandins, nerve growth factors, that may cause a wide range of subtle adjustments downsteam at the DNA level of the cells of the body… it is highly probable that the DNA-Histone binding structure will be activated in some way by signaling agents far, far, more subtle than pheromones, and infinitely more nuanced in their action, that is given the upstream catalytic moment _not by the pheromones per se_, but by the behaviors that are initiated by the pheromones… based on that theory, which may not be accurate but for now it seems compelling, that the pheromones assist in initiang a behavior, they prime the pump, so to speak, but the quality and quantity of the behavior itself may produce the “real stuff” that induces healthy changes of state in the body.

It’s nice to see that someone has checked to see if these had an effect on the body.
I know that steroid hormones, which are related compounds, alter the signals that DNA sends out. But I also know that this takes hours or days, at least. Since pheromones are much faster acting, it is obvious that they affect us by a different mechanism. Your testing confirms that any longer term effects are negligible.

Basically, though, the point I was trying to make earlier is this: It’s your body that you are putting this stuff on. Don’t let other people tell you it’s safe or it isn’t. Educate yourself, and make your own decision.

I honestly believe that if there is risk of using pheromones it is very minimal. 7% of north Americans children are dosed with Ritalin, it is more powerful than cocaine, makes you aggressive, makes you depressive, destroys heart and brain health, blocks the production of hormones, enzymes. People ingest aspartame, monosodium glutamate, sodium nitrate, inject themselves with vaccines packed with mercury. We put fluoride in our water, factories dumb out chemicals and every human has over 3000 different types of man made chemicals in their bodies. Aspirin for example, makes holes in your intestines; actually causes more head aches. Mothers have rocket fuel chemicals in their milk; the water we drink now has 2 PPM of anti depressants in it and 1ppm of fluoride. We are bombarded by our toxic world. I strongly believe that pheromones are the least of your problems. Go in your kitchen right now, check you packed meats, sausages, ham, you will see the ingredient “sodium nitrate”, this is one of the most cancer promoting ingredients that you will find in the food chain. HAHAHAH, and you though that pheromones are dangerous, why not start drinking water filtered by reverse osmosis, non fluorided toothpaste, shampoo with no laurel sulfates in it, seriously, your FDA “approved” drugs are what you should be worried about. Also, The US army is dumping Depleted uranium all over our planet (note: it is 60% as radioactive as uranium!!! I don’t call that depleted…).

That’s some scary stuff, Thomas. Much of which is verifiable from fairly trustable sources.

All the more reason most people should consider cycling Sylimarin (the active component of Milk Thistle) and N-Acetyl Cystine (NAC).

The liver needs all the help it can get keeping your “body toxicity” down, and those two molecules are miraculous at aiding the liver at it’s job. Very reasonably priced, too.

Quite a mix!

For ease of use, I actually like this mix a lot:

Organic Frog Greens Today Superfood

I also cycle through different multivitamins and mixes, including AOR’s Ortho-Core, Country Life’s Beyond Food, Life Extension Foundation’s (LEF) Mix, Nature’s Way Alive!, NSI Basic, Life Force, Durk Pearson & Sandy Shaw’s core formula, NOW! ADAM and sometimes others.

All top or upper shelf in their own way. The point of cycling is to keep my body on it’s “metaphorical toes”, as it were. It seems to help gads over taking the same exact mix every single day.

Some of the multiple mixes, I need to take at night, because they make me tired. Others, I take early, since they’re invigorating.

The Organic Frog mix has generally been invigorating for me, so has NSI Basic.

On the other hand, Ortho-Core and Adam, I’ll mostly take at night (or take sparingly in the day).

Seems that a good chelated zinc, in particular, makes me nod off. Even better than magnesium does, surprisingly. (magnesium slows brain waves)

I will probably buy that supplement, had never seen it, I like the fact that there is CoQ10, Octacosanol, Reishi Mushroom and 15mg of zinc, the down side is that I eat half a bottle a day, I would massively overdose on the minerals. That product is damn good, probably in the top 25 nutritional products on earth, but it surly doesn’t beat Ron Teeguarden’s 75 organic ingredient nutritional supplement (note: it costs an arm and a leg). Speaking of Q10, more than 200mg a day of idebenone, you can actually _feel_. You feel so limber and energized mentally, it’s sort of euphoric. You may want to try it.

Interesting. Do you have a direct link to this, I couldn’t find it in a cursory search.

I also find it interesting that Ron has some so-so photos online, unlike, say, Robert Crayhon ([http://www.crayhonresearch.com/](http://www.crayhonresearch.com/)). The skin’s a great indicator of internal health, so it’s always interesting to take a peek at that.

Dr. Perricone is made of what appears to be leather, soaked judiciously in some sort of tobacco extract. 😉 Even though some of his advice seems sound, the man himself has no credibility with me whatsoever.

> [@](#):
>
> What do you mean by “nod off”, an erection?

Nod off = go to sleep

Actually, none actually make tired enough to fall asleep, unless I was already tired … but there’s a definite positive or negative to every supplement, in terms of energy level.

ZMA (Basically, Zinc + Magnesium without ANY calcium to block the absorption of either), of course, makes you sleepier. Part of it’s intention is to create better sleep cycle, with a more coherent brainwave pattern richer in delta waves. This then leads to greater testosterone and HGH release.

The funny thing is, Magnesium itself doesn’t seem to make me nearly as sleepy as ZMA does. Very unusual, considering that magnesium is known to slow brain waves. I haven’t heard about that in regards to zinc itself, however.

I think it makes sense, though, considering zinc is a powerful antioxidant. Perhaps “too powerful”, in a sense.

Zinc might inhibit the type of oxiditation _we need_ to remain awake and at full energy. Both zinc and copper (which is a pro-oxidant, in many ways) compete for absorption along the same pathways. One blocks the absorption of the other, which forces us to take them at different times.

A metabolic clue that we should take them 180 degrees apart from each other, time wise? Maybe ene before bed, and one upon waking?

Perhaps.

I’ve noticed that taking copper in the morning and supplements that contain heavy amounts of zinc, seem to be best. In terms of my own energy, that is.

I like to have immense amounts of both physical and mental energy when I’m awake, so I’m very aware of how everything affects this. This probably won’t matter to most people.

Yes, I agree with you, Ron does seem unhealthy; his skin is terrible for a “health god”. The product was very expensive, he might not sell it anymore, I was able to find a guy talking about it though:

**Wolfe** : There are some really great companies out there doing that, and I want to mention one, my friend Ron Teagarden of _Dragon Herbs_.
**Mike** : Oh, Ron. Sure.
**Wolfe** : He’s got some great immune system formulas that deserve mention, and Ron’s [Dragonherbs.com](http://www.dragonherbs.com/) gets my highest recommendation.
**Mike** : He’s got that one product that has something like 72 different Chinese herbs in one, doesn’t it?
**Wolfe** : Yes.
**Mike** : Yes, I tasted that. Wow.
**Wolfe** : Because we’re talking about _Dragon Herbs_, I want to mention a specific reishi product he has that I feel is absolutely one of the strongest things I’ve ever tried. The product’s name is _Protector 2000_ at [dragonherbs.com](http://www.%3ca%20href=/)". In there, you find that reishi mushroom spores have been eaten up with enzymes and made digestible to you. I caught Ron at a trade show the other day, and this is what he told me. He said that the reishi spore extract that is in that product is 70 times more powerful than the reishi mushroom itself. If you’re a student of herbs, that is almost impossible. I mean, that is an incredible feat and yet here it is, that’s a product available to you.

(I will try a coq10 supplement soon, seems like a good idea, i think i need the extra boost right now, my brain seems to be getting lazy even with the near perfect diet. Probably because i stopped using “VM75” by a comapny called “solgar”)

His wife (or concubine? 😉) looks good, but many Asians age gracefully.

It’s interesting that the Organic Frog stuff makes me feel good, btw, since it doesn’t exaclty jibe with recommendations involving my blood type.

I’m not a full believer in anything (even pheromones – you’ll see them recommend themi _with_ “game” and other strategies to get the most out of them), but I’d say that the bulk of the recommendations by Dr. D’Adamo really help. I’d also say that they seem to work for 90% of people who try them (take a look at health forums, both in and out of Dr. D’Adamo’s control – _mostly_ excellent feedback from those who’ve actually tried it, full out)

Very surprising, considering that most diets seem to consist of one bit of nonsense after the other.

Genetic typing via ABO typing _is_ admittedly oversimplified, but it’s application to diet does seem to be beneficial overall for many.

Anyway, despite some of the supposed “negative” factors in the green mix, there’s obviously more positives ones. It’s a plus sum game. For me, anyway.

Like anything, especially health oriented, this might not apply to everyone. We may all be human, but there’s quite a few individual differences in body chemistry that make us absolutely unique.
