Hello everyone, I have a question, has anyone tried some of the lovescent [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) such as Estratrienol, Equilin, or Estradiol? Are they estrogen derivatives (wild guess)? I looked up Estradiol on this forum, but didn’t really find any reports or anything.. I refer to these substances as pheromones, because on the LS site it says, under each product note, that they are pheromones.

Thanks,
Dominick

yah man i was wondering about some of that other stuff too. it seems that there is a commercial [pheromone product](https://a314.com/shop/) that uses oxytocin or something like that that androtics don’t use in any of their products.

With Oxytocin, I believe it is due to the fact that it is hard to keep stable and, apparently, it has a half-life of about half an hour. And, if I remember correctly, there are also proximity issues with Oxytocin..

I have some of there chem set stuff but I am wary of a few.

Equilin is an estrogen from horses. From what Di has said they do use it in pill form for estrogen therapy in human women.

Just something about this one that sort of freaks me out so I avoid it.

The other two you listed are derivatives of estrogen and made in the human body. Equilin is not produced in humans at all.

Its suspected that the human estrogen derivatives here are in the putitives.

Wildflower and Di found a clue in one of the posts by Jasmin. I know Androtics wont confirm it because they never even would tell me of Steve what the putatives actually were even with disclosure agreements but its believed the estrogen derivatives fall in or between P79 and P86.

Now I tell you this so you can test those putatives out first cheep and if you find you like them maybe you could pick out some from LS and compare results and give us your opinion LOL

Oxytocin is highly volatile and unstable outside of the body and hard to work with but this doesn’t mean its totally useless or shouldn’t be explored. I think they just have a long way with molecule scientifically. It is a hormone that induces labor in women. But while it is a hormone it hasn’t been proven to act phenomenally. In the body it causes some behaviors like recognition, pair bonding anxiety, trust, and love.

I have been told its not in the line up here but that was a long time ago and a lot of putatives came out since then so who knows. They may be testing it.

Thanks, Tisha! I remember reading in the thread “Now it’s time to create one for the ladies.” that P78 and P80 are estrogen derivatives. Maybe those two are good starting points 🙂

The LS chemset stuff from Stone Labs are excellent: pure & potent. The ones made by Pharmacom are uneven and the ones made near the end are total crap (the blueish label with molecule graphic) and the Lucky Seven Chemset. I think some of them are just vials filled with alcohol. LS is not very good at updating its graphics but the Estratrienol, Equilin, Estradiol and Lucky 7 are all still showing the old Pharmacom labels. I wouldn’t buy those as I suspect they are old stock. I had Christopher’s (HEC) old Lucky 7 and it was utter crap (with supposed Equilin). I’m sure it was filled with alcohol and nothing but…

Actually Love Scent says that they do not know what these substances do, and that they are offered for research purposes only.

_ **Equilin** _ is a horse conjugated estrogen, one of the ingredients in Premarin and human birth control pills. Some people report [pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/)-like responses to equillin and a calming effect, but it is not found naturally occuring on the skin of humans.

_ **Estradiol** _ is the main female estrogen of child-bearing years. It can penetrate the skin, so again, be cautious using it as a pheromone, since it has a strong estrogen effect in the body, and especially because of the 1 mg/ml concentration of the product from Love\_Scent.

I buy and use the _ **Estratetraenol** _ (EST) from LS. It is a good product, but it is also 1 mg/ml and needs to be diluted with about 20 ml’s of perfumer’s or artisan’s alcohol to bring it into testing range (50.0 mcg/spray when transfered to a 30 ml spray-type bottle).

Oxytocin… I’ve been looking at this molecule, and it is a huge molecule (C43H66N12O12S2), which is way too heavy to be an air-borne pheromone. The amount of carbon in it alone assures that it will stay pretty much put wherever it is sprayed. Molecular weights above 250-275 g/mole are probably not going to have pheromonal characteristics. And this one weighs 1007.19 g/mole.

I’ve used it and in very close quarters it has some bonding effects, but that really is naked, skin-to-skin, and it is not really suitable for influencing the behavior of others at a distance. Sprayed close to the face, it may have some nice calming self-effects, but that is about it.

But, then they go ahead and say it is a pheromone, which is what confused me. 🙂

Says… “10 mg of reagent grade [name here] pheromone in a 10mL solution”

The _supposed_ Oxy product is named “Liquid Trust”. It’s also advertised by the producer in the back of some magazines.

I haven’t even considered trying it because of the stability issues in liquid form. The reports I’ve seen show a lot of people saying it doesn’t do anything. A few say it works.

I tried liquid trust on several occasion until the bottle ran out. I never experienced any results, but then again I did not keep it in the fridge as it is advised. Also I heard it only works if the target is exposed to it a few minutes after application. Other products such as Beta-nol probably achieve the same results without having to worry about so many things,

The main ingredient is Oxytocin. This is a feel good substance that is released into the bloodstream and tissues during orgasm that makes you feel really good, connected, content and euphoric.

But it is a huge, heavy, heavy molecule with pretty much zero diffusion capability. Its molecular formula is **C** ([Carbon - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon))43 **H** ([Hydrogen - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen))66 **N** ([Nitrogen - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrogen))12 **O** ([Oxygen - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxygen))12 **S** ([Sulfur - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sulfur))2 and its molecular weight is much heavier than the heaviest known pheromone.

You may get self effects when you spray it on. You may even see effects if someone is directly huffing your skin where you sprayed it on.

But you won’t see normal pheromone attraction with this one… It’s just too heavy.

It seems like they may just copy the manufacturer’s product description directly onto their website.

If their atomizers are anything like Androtics’ spray bottles you were spraying about 15 mcg/spray… so around 30 mcg or so.

How many times did you try it, and were the results 100 % consistent?

You may have been giving off the signal that you were “taken” by another woman, since estradiol is an estrogen.

Would it work suspended in an oily Lip Balm? I’m thinking not airborne but a contact-based product… There must be some way to stabilize it so that it’s protected from breakdown until contact/heat.

_[EDIT]_
Came across this related paper in the Studies and Abstract forum: **Background** : In nonhuman mammals, the neuropeptide oxytocin has repeatedly been shown to increase social approach behavior and pair bonding. In particular, central nervous oxytocin reduces behavioral and neuroendocrine responses to social stress and is suggested to mediate the rewarding aspects of attachment in highly social species. However, to date there have been no studies investigating the effects of central oxytocin mechanisms on behavior and physiology in human couple interaction.
\*\*
Methods:**In a double-blind placebo-controlled design, 47 heterosexual couples (total n 􏰂 94) received oxytocin or placebo intranasally before a standard instructed couple conflict discussion in the laboratory. The conflict session was videotaped and coded for verbal and nonverbal interaction behavior (e.g., eye contact, nonverbal positive behavior, and self-disclosure). Salivary cortisol was repeatedly measured during the experiment.
\*\*
Results**: Oxytocin significantly increased positive communication behavior in relation to negative behavior during the couple conflict discussion (F 􏰂 4.18, p 􏰂 .047) and significantly reduced salivary cortisol levels after the conflict compared with placebo (F 􏰂 7.14, p 􏰂 .011).

C **onclusions:** These results are in line with animal studies indicating that central oxytocin facilitates approach and pair bonding behavior. Our findings imply an involvement of oxytocin in couple interaction and close relationships in humans.

I went through a bottle of LT and didn’t get jack doo-dah. I didn’t try directly spraying up my target’s nose but as an airborne molecule the effect was either nonexistent or too subtle for me to notice. The bottle/atomizer is nice 'n prutty. It lives on delivering custom mixes to my handsome hide.
