😃

Anyway, I ran across this list of products that is SAID to improve BONER STRENGTH (HARDNESS), and thought I’d share. If you have anything to add, do so quietly. 😃

**Watermelon** = high in citrulline, which like that little blue pill, stimulates nitric-oxide production and increases blood flow to the penis, strengthening erections.

**Dark Chocolate** = loaded with flavonoids that dilate your arteries. Eat about 1.6 ounces of dark chocolate (about the size of a regular Hershey’s bar) daily?that’s the amount researchers at the University of California found improved blood-vessel dilation by more than 10 percent. ( **NOTE** : A “Los Angeles Times” panel tasted 23 dark chocolate bars with cacao percentages higher than 70 percent to find the best tasting. Panelists gave high marks to **Noir de Cacao by Michel Cluizel** , noting its deep fragrance and hint of espresso; **Le Noir Amer by Valrhona** , with a raisin and chocolate scent; and **Ocumare by Chocovic Unique Origin Varietal Chocolates** , which had aromas similar to nuts and tobacco and an earthy flavor.)

**Cherries** = flavonoids — cleanse free radicals from arteries, relaxing them and improving blood flow.

**Raw oysters** = Raw oysters are the richest dietary source of zinc, which not only improves blood flow but also fuels testosterone production. When testosterone levels drop, so do your performance and your libido, Lamm says. Wild eastern oysters have the most zinc, followed by eastern farmed and wild Pacific.

**Grass-fed butter** = Recent studies have shown that people with the highest intakes of the vitamin K2, found in grass-fed beef and dairy products like butter, cut their risk of coronary heart disease in half. And what’s good for your ticker is always good for your erections.
**Bananas** = Bananas are high in potassium, which relaxes blood-vessel walls, allowing for better blood flow throughout the body. Plus it offsets a high-sodium diet, keeping your blood pressure in check, according to a study in the journal Hypertension. Narrow blood vessels lead to low blood flow, which leads to . . . well, not much.

**Garlic** = This allium vegetable boosts blood flow to the penis by increasing nitric-oxide production and relaxing blood vessels.

**Walnuts** = The amino acid L-arginine, found abundantly in walnuts, is one of the building blocks of nitric oxide. Translation: A diet that includes these nuts with the rock-hard shell makes for consistent, rock-hard erections. According to a panel conducted by the European Food Safety Authority, you should eat about ? cup a day.

**Ginger** = By scrubbing blood vessels of free radicals and decreasing inflammation, ginger relaxes arteries and improves blood flow. According to a study in the International Journal of Cardiology, about 1 teaspoon a few times a week is all you need to reap ginger’s cardiovascular rewards.

**Nutmeg** = A study of natural aphrodisiacs in the _BMC Complementary_ and _Alternative Medicine_ journal found that nutmeg increases libido and erectile performance. Nutmeg also contains myristic acid, which has been shown to stimulate production of the all-important nitric oxide, the key to a healthy erection.

**Olive Oil** = According to a study in the journal _Lipids_, olive oil helps increase testosterone production.

**Salmon** = Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, salmon promotes erectile health by effecting a threefold increase in nitric-oxide production, according to the journal _Fertility and Sterility_. The researchers recommend 1 gram of omega-3s a day, which you can get in 3 ounces of salmon.

**Alcohol** = Moderation is the key. According to research conducted by David R. Meldrum, M.D., a reproductive endocrinologist and a clinical professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, one to two drinks daily can have beneficial effects on erectile function, but more than that can suppress blood flow and decrease nitric-oxide production. Red wine is generally the best, Meldrum says. But the antioxidant content can vary a lot. Generally, warmer growing regions produce wines with more antioxidants.

**Pistachios** = Adding a daily handful of pistachios to your diet can improve your erectile function, “sexual satisfaction, orgasmic function, sexual desire, and overall satisfaction,” according to a study in the _International Journal of Impotence Research_. These tasty snacks are high in arginine, which increases nitric-oxide production.

**Almonds** = Vitamin E, of which almonds are a prime source, enhances nitric-oxide production, according to the _British Journal of Urology International_. A small handful a few times a week is all you need.

I was getting ready to ask you what did you mean. I looked up there, and saw GRASS-FED. Then I looked again, and saw GASS-FED. I can see how that could have caused a chuckle, 'cause I chuckled at the second viewing. Always a pleasure, Tish! 😉

When you get in one of your OUTSTANDING EXPLAINING moods, I’d love your thoughts on gRass fed, please. And I’ll thank you now. THANK YOU! 😉

Well first grass fed tastes so much better and is more tender. Growing up in a farming family and eating the livestock which was grass fed you can tell the difference when you eat meat thats grain fed.

It seems to fill you up and satisfy better to. Its more expensive but you use smaller cuts.

Health wise \>\>\>

Grass fed is higher in Omega 3 which is essential to health.

High Omega 3 lowers blood pressure and supports the heart. It also supports brain function and helps prevent things like depression, anxiety disorders, ADD and Alzheimer’s

Some studies say it shows a decrease in cancer as well.

Then there is the added benefit of no hormones. In most cases farmers who grass feed there animals are not going to use hormones. Of course they could so check the package but I never saw a cut of grass fed meat that wasnt hormone free.

In my opinion getting hormone free is more important then grass fed because you can take omega 3 or increase the intake of other foods that contain it but if you can afford it try to get a least one to two cuts a week of grass fed. Get eggs that are from patured hens to because they have more omega 3.

AH-SUM! Thanks!

A couple of more questions.

Patured hens?

And! In your hidden vault of knowledge, is there such a thing as too much Omega 3 or vitamin C?

Your thoughts/anyone else thoughts on vegetables in PILL form?

Another _ **THANK YOU** _ shoved your way! 😉

(snort) My bad… I spelled it wrong. Pastured. That means the chickens run around freely outside. 😃

Well anything we over do can be detrimental to health but its hard to find it with Omega 3’s. To much can prevent clotting which on one hand is a good thing and if you cut yourself could be a bad thing. It would take an awful lot of omega 3 to get to the point of danger though.

It can interact with certain meds. Blood pressure meds for one. If your on them and you take omega 3 it can make it go to low. Again good for your heart but if you dont adjust your meds it can be a problem.

Other then that I cant think of anything else bad about Omega 3

Vitamin C is water soluble so you pee out what you don’t need but if your not drinking enough to get it out adequately enough then it can cause intestinal irritations and absorb certain minerals in your system which you need like iron and copper. Thats with doses over 2000 mgs. You only need 200 mg a day or 400 to 500 mg if your fighting off a infection of some kind.

go to an asian grocery and get those frozen packages of japanese Natto that come in styrofoam. It’s fermented soybeans, kinda weird to eat, but awesome heath effects come if you keep with it. A package of Natto has over 1,000 mcg of Vit K2 MK7. MK7 has a very long half-life, but the body can’t make it. Basically only other way to get it is animal livers / hearts / kidneys in quantity. More K2 = more testosterone production. Also get pills of K2 MK4 at 5mg… keep in mind K2 MK4 has a much shorter half-life.

You know, L … I fear the word SOYBEAN!

If I may, your age, height and body weight?

I think I’m finally becoming tired of buying this and that and that and this, only to find it didn’t work.

Natto, huh? How before one normally feels its effects?

Thanks for adding to my list! 😛

I just wanna clarify that it’s a **ratio** of Omega 3s to Omega 6s that is linked with lower cancer risks. Our society typically consumes way too much omega 6s and not enough omega 3s, so you can’t just increase 3’s without reducing 6s if you want to see the benefits. Also not all omega 3s are created equal- some need to be consumed in conjunction with other vitamins in order to go from the per-cursor to the kind you want. (super over-simplified)
