I was wondering. Can certain drugs (e.g. antidepressants) change one’s [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) output? These drugs are meant to change particular biochemical processes in the body. Is it possible we subconsciously smell whether a person is chemically ‘disturbed’ or off-balance?

It’s more of the outward appearance of your body language. Taken from someone who’s been on it before it’s definitely something that changes people’s perceptions of you. As for pheromone output or sig, I doubt that there would be much of a difference that’s outright noticeable.

The only thing I can think of is Androstenone output due to the side effects that stem from Anti-Depressants like weight gain, which could be an indirect effect. Throughout my Anti-Depressant use I maintained my workouts and ate as healthy as possible which evened things out.

What about cortisol, because of the anxiety and/or stress? Women might notice or sense high levels of that. I am pretty sure guys with low cortisol levels are more attractive.

Yeah, I think anxiety is very unattractive to women. This raises the question which [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) are best for men struggling with depression or anxiety to effectively attract women?
