It’s actually called Bremelanotide now, and it’s no longer being used for ED or FSD, according to Palatin Tech their new plans are
“Developing bremelanotide as a therapeutic drug for treatment of hemorrhagic shock and related indications (shock induced by blood loss, such as secondary to surgery or trauma);”

This is due to the blood pressure side-effect concerns, caused by the medication.

However they also released this in their [PALATIN TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES NEW STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES AND REPORTS THIRD QUARTER 2008 FINANCIAL RESULTS](http://palatin.com/news/news.asp?param=202)

“Advancing new Palatin compound P.L-6983, which in animal models causes significantly lower increases in blood pressure than seen with bremelanotide, into Phase 1 clinical studies for treatment of male and female sexual dysfunction;”

So, more like P.L-6983 rather than PT-141 🙄

Sorry to hijack your thread LadyT, Consider this a bump to your thread 😉
Hope you get some answers!

P.S.
The dot in-between the ‘P’ and ‘L’ in P.L-6983, is not the precise name, the dot is to prevent the automatic forum processes of converting P and L (when together) to Pherlure.
