Just as a quick short aside comment: I have been looking over some of those “seduction/etc” websites, eBooks and the like, and most are pretty darn pathetic… Some are outright insults to humanity IMO. Shallow and manipulative, not to mention near “sinfully” false and deceptive. I guess tehy DO provide starting points and serve as learning experiences. But to me experience is the greatest teacher. More comments later when I feel like it and I’m not fighting an ornery computer, ISP, and phone line…

If this thread is indicative of anything I’ve missed in the past, y’all should know that up until now I was quite content while basking in my ignorance.

Kino, etc., is the readers digest version of Social Psychology which I’ve taken a few graduate courses in, so I have to admit that I have some engrained bias on this subject. I can imagine that “Kino”, etc could be somewhat valuable to someone with no social skills or understanding of social behavior, but I don’t/can’t understand anyones preoccupation with it. Kino, etc. = Training Wheels. Screw that, I want a frickin Harley.

A woman who is comfortable with her own self, with her womanhood, comfortable with the man being a man,
who takes the risk opening her mind and soul to the man that matters,
who is not afraid of being turned down by many, yet cherished by a few,
who is strong enough to do a man’s job, yet blush at a simple comment,
who laughes from the heart, speaks truth,
who is content to receive, give, share and partner

Some may call that confidence, but I call it beauty within. This is an attractive woman in my view.

So Lor, to answer your ranking of qualities question, everything else you listed can come after the above.

Ladies and gentlemen, you know who you are, let us consider what “kino” is.

Kino is short for kinesthetics. It refers to touch. You can consider touch an art form, and you can consider it training wheels, but understand that you are considering it those things based on your own point of view.

I am an artist, so I can understand how you would get upset at seeing your chosen art form basically reduced to cheap tricks by some PUA.

And I can see how Gabe would think it’s training wheels for PUA wannabes. But we are not all talking about the same thing here.

Just because I call it “kino” doesn’t mean I am doing what you two are referring to. I just want to specify that. What I do is closer to what Ail probably does than anything else. I use touch as a form of communication and relaxation. Perhaps I like the way “kino” sounds, and just happened to pick a word that triggers dogma.

Touch is wonderful for communication, and relaxation, and whether I call it touch, caresses, kino, massage, or whatever, jumping to conclusions isn’t going to advance anything.

By the way, Ail, I thought you said Scots were the most open people in the world? How can they be both?

Heh. For some reason certain people seem to think things like Kino or certain ways of using language are training wheels. Sadly, thats what happens when you get older and wiser and acquire other advanced techniques, you tend to look down upon the basic and most natural things. Like touching someone and using a silly “pick-up line” to make them laugh.

Usually when I use kino.. its to 1) anchor something (nlp thing) and 2) just relate to them, relax and in some cases just be directly sexual when the situation is right.

I really don’t know why some of you people have a thing against “kino” or wanting to be visually appealing.. because whenever I do a get togethor or go to some sort of party or a club, that pretty much is what gets me fun company. It works; for those who laugh at this as just being training wheels.. you should stop being bitter at life.. perhaps being more open minded so you can meet that interesting stranger who actually for once has a big enough pair to give you the interesting experience=)

It is short for KINESIOLOGY.

Are you trying to teach ME something I teach, and have taught to literally thousands of people?

Yeah..that’s wise..

That would be why in the US, your Kinesiology Sports Medicine (the department I run over here is Sports Medicine and General Fitness) graduate courses are all abbreviated as KINO followed by a number, would it?

Little point arguing something when someone isn’t even on the right page about the art-form he is “using..” Kinesiology is a small part of the course I run. I bite my tongue when massive mistakes are made on these forums about safety levels of steroid and supplement use, and have also done so about a lot of other medical and health-related stuff, because when I leave my lecture hall or lab, or gym, depending on whatever the last class of the day I was teaching was, I leave my work behind, and rarely if ever, do I let it cross into the world outside of work, but this Kino thing has been gnawing and gnawing at me for a long time now, and I blew.

Rbt and Gabe, thanks for those comments. I am glad not everyone approves of Kinesiology being what I describe, as abused.

Lastly: it is very easy to be open, yet watchful and wary of all that goes on.

We take nothing unless it comes with a hefty dollop of salt.

Ail 🙂

I long ago concluded that you could never learn anything from me, Ail. I don’t accept students who aren’t willing to keep an open mind. But unfortunately for you, I was not trying to teach you anything, so you can put your indignation away.

Since I’m not even on the right page about the ‘art form’ I’m using, I guess I have to ask, just what are you talking about? Please, educate me, since I’m obviously lost here. And do tell, just what makes kineseology an art form?

For almost a day, I thought my last post killed the thread. Now it seems full of energy.

Touch, or sex, or taste, they cover a wide scale of interpretation. Can be art, primal, or anything inbetween. Every person you meet will have a different view.

It is not bad we are different.

my curiosity stemmed from some men saying confidence was sexy and some men liked demure women. i know women adore confident men.
i wanted to know if confidence could _over-ride_ looks in the “hot department” .
also, i was really curious as to what the very first thing a guy thought when he finds out the girl next to him is wearing [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/)… i mean seasoned users can tell when someone near is all 'moned up i think.
well, im not sure this will go any further but we shall see.😃

Who cares. It is just a word people use.. and words are pretty much empty until the person gives them meaning. There is no point arguing semantics here. What does count is that you have your own methods and that they work for you.

Confident women mean different things to different men. My description above is not what many would agree with, but at least I noticed there are basics, that it doesn’t mean ‘I’m better than you’, ‘I’m full of ego and will prove you wrong’, or ‘I’m always right’.

Confidence vs hottness ?,. Hottness is a force not to discount simply in the eye of a man, you can see it easily, and nothing academic about it.

But confidence is powerful, like a halo over a woman, works slower and is formidable.

Which one is rated higher ?, I’d want both.

But if not, every man would rate them differently, can not generalise.

I think if a woman did her best effort to be the best on both fronts, she will have a queue of admirers.

Speaking for myself, I prefer a woman with my version of confidence, because that generated hottness, naughtiness, sexyness, genuineness .. She looks beautiful, acts beautiful, I won’t go on …

As for detecting a woman with phero’s ? .. First thing I think is that I like her already.

If she risked using them, then it means she wants to communicate, maybe adventerous, takes risks, open minded, wanting my attention, and would enjoy it if she gets it.

I had a couple of instances when I detected cops, not many, in one of them I spoke right away to tell her it suited her well, got her beet red, then having fun telling her I did as well (anone, mind you), comparing reactions, checkin cover oils …

If you hinting that if I felt less of her for wearing phero’s, the answer is no.

Confusing

Complex

Now what you’ve asked fer …

Just like women … it all depends … you can be forward with me one day, and it may raise my temperature; you can be forward with me on another day, and you may scare me away. Isn’t attraction and dealing with the opposite sex something!? Heckto! I even know lesbians that find it difficult and confusing … that be two females that should have it all down, say? 😛

> [@men's opinions on women](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/mens-opinions-on-women/672/1):
>
> a woman who (although beautiful/hot) is quiet or waits to be approached?

Again, IF I AM in the hunting mode that would/could work, but if I’m in my I need fingures running through the hairs of my ego, that could be a problem; or it still depends … some hunters are aggressive, some are not.

> [@men's opinions on women](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/mens-opinions-on-women/672/1):
>
> and, how big is the factor of beauty in relation to the confidence factor?

I THINK, like women, beauty is always the plus, but not the determining factor for those thinking with the head above zee neck. I’d take a fun, interesting, and beautiful woman with a good personality any day of the week. When the sex dies … I wouldn’t stick around if their personality sucks! You? 🆒

> [@men's opinions on women](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/mens-opinions-on-women/672/1):

If she finds the combination to get into my heart … it doesn’t really matter. As with everything else … there are exceptions … even in the world of women. 😉

> [@men's opinions on women](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/mens-opinions-on-women/672/1):

Again, that depends on what radar she hits … it varies ya know. Attractive, sexy, hot, fun … I think they have their on radars.

No ONE really knows what women or men want … it’s just a day-to-day event … tomorrow always brings on something diffierent when you’ve think you have it down.

Lor, honey … just stay sweaty & keep the mud on yer face … you’ll have no problems! 😃

This has been M&M … and that’s a wrap! 🆒

Soory about the Kino thing, Lor, I don’t think anyone wants to hijack your thread.

>
> …
> i wanted to know if confidence could _over-ride_ looks in the “hot department”…😃

Stated that way, I’d clearly lean towards someone with a strong, distinctive personality over looks but I’d have to say that “confidence” in and of itself, taken seperately from the other aspects of her personality, is not, nor would it ever be, the deciding factor.

It amazes me that women in general could be attracted by one particular aspect of somebodys persona , and I wonder how quickly you would hone in on this aspect of someones personality. And when I use the word “persona”, I’m being literal. How would you discriminate between a mans public persona and his true, inner self? I’m assuming that you do it quickly and yes, I’m assuming that it’s possible for someone to be confident without projecting it (as I generally keep my cards close to my chest until I play them) and I’m also assuming that it’s possible for a man to project confidence when they’re actually barely holding it together.

So Lor - or any other female reading this thread can you define or give us an example of confidence, as you perceive it?
