> I have mega dosed on plenty of them and never have I experienced memory loss or loss of function. Maybe got a little nauseated but thats it. Is it totally impossible, no but I have never seen or spoken to anyone else reporting it either. Then again maybe they dont remember it so they dont report it. But anyways with all the pheromones I have used and have tested on others there is no blank spots in my or their memory and they all functioned just fine. Even at really high doses.

Huh, what? Who?

Of course we don’t . What kind of cads do you think we are? 😮 🙄

As long as I don’t have to dance nekkid around an oak tree at midnight - just send me some pheros from time to time and go ahead and take over. It isn’t like most politicians have any real training running a country either. 😛

I’ve had five years of experiance working with mentally challenged individuals. During this time a majority of these patients were prone to seizures. Now despite what the movies show, most do not involve a person thrashing around on the ground. As a matter of fact the more mild versions are frequently not even recognised by a person who doesn’t know what to look for. There might be a twitching of the facial muscles or simply staring out into space. What ever form it takes the person is unresponsive. I believe this would even account for a blank spot in an individual’s memory. I wonder if it is possible the patient you were with could have simply experienced a mild seizure? The timing could have been a coincidence or it could have been brought on by having a liquid sprayed so near to their face. While being sprayed isn’t a typical trigger, I did have one girl who would frequently have one shortly after stepping into the shower.

> Hi, I work as a community psychiatric nurse and have always been puzzled by the frequent occurence of mental health professionals getting themselves into trouble by having an affair with a patient. Often the patient is not particularly attractive, either physically or personality wise. Something just occurred to me - people with schizophrenia often have poor personal hygiene. Could it be that they are among the few people who don’t wash off their natural pheromones? Not hard science but just a thought.

I know this is a little freaky.
but i myself, have a few severe mental disorders. well one thats official. the others were self diagnosed. i have been through a severe depression, went to a mental hospital for 6 months while on xanax, got out of the hospital and things are all coming together, slowly but surely.
what i want to say actually
is that while i was so warped up in my problems ( which i didnt recognize ) that i had an incurable desire to HELP others who were seriously disturbed, almost as much as i was. actuallly even more so.
and i know i’ve read in places that people who do things when they’re older, generally had a history of around the same thing when they were maturing. i dont know the scientific proof behind all that but im just sayin.
maybe the doctors have a history of mental illness as well?

I have encountered a number of unusual people in mental health fields. Some in my unprofessional opinion had personality disorders or other mental illnesses. Some were drug addicts. Some were criminals. Again, in my limited experience, the mental health field seems uncommonly weighted towards these character defects when compared to the health care field in general.

Yeah, psychiatrists seem notorious for getting into the field to treat themselves.

possibly relevant;
_Some people with chronic schizophrenia characterized by predominantly disorganized and negative symptoms have been found to have an unusual, specific odor to their sweat and they have also been found to have impairment detecting certain odors._

_The chemical exuded in the sweat of these patients with chronic schizophrenia causing the distinct odor is a chemical called trans-3-methyl-2-hexenoic acid (MHA)._ [Schizophrenia Daily News Blog: Chemical in Sweat and Inability to Smell it May be Schizophrenia Marker](http://www.schizophrenia.com/sznews/archives/004743.html)

And from this very forum;

_My favorite odoriferous compound is 3-methyl-2-hexenoic acid. This is the essence of human sweat. One drop makes an entire room smell like the locker room of the Stanford Football team after losing to UC Berkeley in an overtime game on a hot day while wearing already smelly jerseys and soiled jock straps. It is super strong! Interestingly, people suffering from schizophrenia have a much higher concentration of this in their sweat. I have made a cologne consisting of 3-methyl-2-hexenoic acid with androstenedione and have found this to activate bonding and mating behavior in women. It is really amazing stuff!_
