I wanted to take this opportunity to tell everyone how tremendously I enjoy this forum and all of you!

Michael - Jasmin … You are the best!

For those of you who didn’t have time to make Jasmin’s infamous egg nog… Here’s another nice drink.
It’s red, so perfect for Christmas.

From my neck of the woods: The Cape Codder

- Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice (Can be the light version - less calories)
- Add regular or lime flavored tonic water if a less sweet drink is desired
- A twist of lime
- Vodka to taste/tolerance!
- Ice cubes

Be careful this goes down like soda!

And… naughty or nice ---- Joyeux Noël!

Thanks for your nice comments! You’re the best, too!

The recipe looks great.

Besides, I’ve been wanting to try this “new” (new to me) stuff, too, [Jewel of Russia](http://www.jewelofrussia.com/). (hard to find, but I hear, _worth it_!)

You keep your wits about you with a good vodka, though. Some of the purest, like Ketel One, have almost no cogeners (contaminants of the alcohol creation process). Really good vodkas almost make me more lucid, dare I say! (but that may be the copper from the Ketel One)

I’m thinking, Christmas, hey… it’s also rum and tequila time! 😃

Or maybe a less filtered (and therefore “crazier”) vodka, like Gordons or Finlandia.

What kind of effect do you go for on Christmas?

(God, I just realized that I’m the same with alcohol variations as I am with [pheromones](https://a314.com/)!)

Yeah, where is this egg nog recipe?

I even expanded the forum search settings to find it, and still no go!

Hey guys, as much as I would totally love to gloat and claim it, the egg nog recipe isn’t mine; it’s the _master’s_ recipe:

That’s right, WOW!

I had no idea Martha Stewart was such a hard drinking party woman!! Maybe it’s something she learned while doing even _harder_ time in sing sing. 😃

I love how she thinks you can get 18 year olds wasted (drinking age in the US is actually 21), yet she seems to be the omniscient master of the universe about everything else. Ha!

(And, of course, that is a beautiful picture! Is that what you got for christmas? 😉)

Heehee! I think Martha Stewart is working on her public image!

That little guy in the picture, on the other hand, is just a born natural charmer!

It sort of amazes me Martha was or is as popular as she is. Usually media personalities are over the top likable or unlikeable (see the description of [Ammunition](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) - Howard Stern is an example of this).

Instead, she sort of has an image of a frumpy (emotionally mushy - not really likeable or unlikeable) “know-it-all”.

Most people don’t like know-it-alls on a personal level (that’s why “playing dumb” used to be a well known means to popularity), but I suppose it’s alright for media. People like some things they can’t stand in person, when it’s merely entertainment. (most people couldn’t handle Robin Williams in person, either, but they love him from afar!)

I suppose the “know it all” thing is an essential part of her image. After all, she’s usually educating you about how to drink like a horse or the proper way to use over 40 varieties of salt. Heh.

Looks it!
