> I made a batch of A1 oil with baby oil, but I found it was to thin to get correct dosing. The second batch I made had 25% glycerin, made the oil thicker and easier to dose. Unfortunately I didnt close the bottle properly and it dried up. Third batch was with dpg oil and 20% glycerin, haven’t used it much since i made a 30ml bottle of IFM a couple days later.

Ok, Mr. Chan. This is important. Like really friggin’ important.

You said, “Since I made a batch of IFM.”

Nothing, and I mean nothing but nothing, has given me the results of IFM. I have pitched so many, many bitches that that was discontinued it’s not even funny.

Please tell me what the recipe is or where I can find it. My love life has just never been the same since that was discontinued.

Have a great one,

Fractionated Coconut Oil makes a great carrier oil. And it’s inexpensive and good for the skin.

No problems with mixing then?

> Adding it to another product like oil or lotion can be tricky. There are all sorts of problems that arise.
>
> Baby oil in itself is non diffusive. Its going to hold onto the A1 and keep it close to the skin and it wont bind to the molecules. You need a binder in the baby oil to bind and diffuse just like you would with any other oil product. Some pure EO’s have good binding qualities like neroli for instance. Some not so much. Some have good sillage which means they leave a vapor trail and some stay close to the body. Now if your buying your A1 with a scent included already you should be fine with the method of spraying it into some oil in your hand and spreading it on but keep in mind that oil diffuses slowly and promotes bacterial conversion especially with something like A1 which converts easily when exposed to heat and bacteria.
>
> If you add it to a bottle of baby oil there are other factors to consider as well. Binding of molecules, preserving of molecules. **Pheromones will convert in untreated oil rapidly.**
>
> **Gels tend to not bind well with mone so I never had any luck using gel.**
>
> **Cream/lotion are heavy as well and will do the same as oil.** Using the palm method would be superior over putting in directly in the tub of lotion. Putting it in the tub works well with something like copulins because copulins are technically not pheromones they are fatty lipids and acids.
>
> **Vaseline based products will not bind or mix at all with mones. Vaseline creates a moisture barrier. If you applied your mones then used vaseline to cover they would never diffuse off your body.** It would create a barrier keeping the mones on the skin. It you apply your mones over the vaseline it would diffuse quickly because it they would sit on top of the barrier.
>
> Really if you dont know how to mix mones you should not be mixing them in with other products directly. People ruin perfectly good mones this way all the time. The controlled layer method would work better for you.
>
> I really need to know where your getting your A1 and what its suspended in to give a good answer.
>
> Are you buying dry crystal form or is it diluted down already into a carrier ? If its already diluted down with the proper binders and carriers what did they use to carry it ? Is it from LS which wont mix with oil or lotion and needs to be further diluted ?
>
> Tisha

Tisha,

Great to hear from you 🙂

I ordered it from LS, which I was told is diluted into alcohol. Its a 5ml bottle which has 5mg of A1 in it.

So I guess my best option would be to mix it with a cologne and then apply it. I went through K-Train’s A1 Guide and decided I’ll mix it with cologne only then. I would like 12.5mcgm/spray so I’ll dilute it (the contents of the 5ml bottle) with 45ml of cologne.

That should be hassle free.

What about cleaning the point(s)/area of application with rubbing alcohol or the commercial hand sanitizers (basically alcohol gels)? That would kill most of the present bacteria and would slow down the conversion maximizing the effect of A, in theory at least. Counting the post application bacteria build up.

Regards,
Arpit.

dbot,

That sounds good, but Tisha just posted that A1 would convert rapidly if applied with untreated oil. Is fractionated coconut oil treated? We do get coconut oil here, like literally in plenty, but I doubt it is treated at all.

Thanks for the info though, I might try that later when I get more of A1. 🙂

Regards,
Arpit.

If you’re worried about conversion on the skin, you could dissolve some monolaurin into whatever carrier you decide on. It’s powerfully antimicrobial and also extends diffusion time. I’ve found that with a little of that stuff dissolved in a spray (10%), I can actually use the [pheromone spray](https://a314.com/product-category/spray-pheromones/) as deodorant.

Others have reported good results from pre-treating the application area with alcohol-based hand sanitizers.

@mobocaster - FCO mixes fine with alcohol IME.

Whew coconut oil should work well and you will smell yummy. When I say untreated oil I mean just plain unscented oil like grapeseed, Jojoba, mineral or baby oil. Coconut oil has the coconut EO built right in so it should bind with the scent well.

Also note that whole coconut oil would likely remain greasy on the skin, and be tough to mix with since it’s often solid at room temperature. Fractionated coconut oil dries down nicely and has no scent. It is used as a carrier oil comparable to jojoba.

Really it doesnt smell like coconuts ?? Well poop. Well then he will need a scent cover to bind and diffuse the molecules. Its still doable. 😃

Oh one ques. Instead of dipropylene glycol, what’s available here is porpylene glycol. I was checking online, its essentially used for the same things:

> [@](#):

> Propylene glycol
> From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
> Propylene glycol[1]
>
> Solubility in water fully miscible
> Solubility in ethanol fully miscible
> Solubility in diethyl ether fully miscible
> Solubility in acetone fully miscible
> Solubility in chloroform fully miscible
>
> Propylene glycol does not cause sensitization and it shows no evidence of being a carcinogen or of being genotoxic. Prolonged contact with propylene glycol is essentially non-irritating to the skin. Undiluted propylene glycol is minimally irritating to the eye, and can produce slight transient conjunctivitis (the eye recovers after the exposure is removed). Exposure to mists may cause eye irritation, as well as upper respiratory tract irritation. Inhalation of the propylene glycol vapors appears to present no significant hazard in ordinary applications. However, limited human experience indicates that inhalation of propylene glycol mists could be irritating to some individuals. Research has suggested that individuals who cannot tolerate propylene glycol probably experience a special form of irritation, but that they only rarely develop allergic contact dermatitis. Other investigators believe that the incidence of allergic contact dermatitis to propylene glycol may be greater than 2% in patients with eczema.

> As an emulsification agent in Angostura and orange bitters
> As a moisturizer in medicines, cosmetics, food, toothpaste, shampoo, mouth wash, hair care and tobacco products

> In electronic cigarettes, as a vaporizable base for diluting the nicotine liquid
> As a solvent for food colors and flavorings
> As an ingredient, along with wax and gelatin, in the production of paintballs
> As a moisture stabilizer (humectant) for snus (Swedish style snuff).
> As a cooling agent for beer and wine glycol jacketed fermentation tanks
> As a non-toxic antifreeze for winterizing drinking water systems, and in applications where the used antifreeze eventually will be drained into the soil, water, or a septic system.[6]
> As a less-toxic antifreeze in solar water heating systems
> As a solvent used in mixing photographic chemicals, such as film developers
> In cryonics
> As a working fluid in hydraulic presses
> As a coolant in liquid cooling systems

> As the killing and preserving agent in pitfall traps, usually used to capture ground beetles
> As an additive to pipe tobacco to prevent dehydration.
> To treat livestock ketosis

> To de-ice aircraft.[7]
> As an ingredient in UV or blacklight tattoo ink
> As a lubricant in air conditioning compressors.
> As a wetting agent, used to determine drying time in paints and coatings

With all this information, do you think it would be okay to use PG as a solvent for A1? I mean do you think it would work just as well DPG works?
