# Mixing mones with cologne

Hi guys,

I just got my first mones, IS, [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) and TUTH.

Also I just bought my favourite perfume, from Acqua di Parma. it’s really good, always getting compliments.

Anyways, if mixing something with your current cologne, is it better to buy something scent free? like A314 oil?

A314 oil is not scent-free!

Other than that, mixing with cologne is possible but it makes dosing a nightmare.

Simply layering the sprays and cover scents is a much better and far less wasteful method.

Keep oils and sprays/scents apart though as layering them can mess-up diffusion in normal conditions.

I see. so mixing any mone product with a cologne isnt really advised?

Mostly, no. Some products are sold at higher concentration intended for mixing eg NPA and if you need to dilute something down to make it usable eg young guys buying 2x TUTH by mistake or [P75](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p75/), which often works best at tiny doses, then yes, cologne is a viable solvent.

Another option is that once you have your doses/mix worked out, it can be convenient to make a couple of days worth in a togo and add some scent to carry with you but more generally, its a minefield and unless you know your baselines, it can be very wasteful. Layering wins hands down in all other situations.
