Gecko toes have special adaptations that allow them to\* [adhere](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adhesion) to most surfaces without the use of liquids or [surface tension](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surface_tension). _About 60% of gecko species have adhesive toe pads; such pads have been gained and lost repeatedly over the course of gecko evolution.[14] ([Gecko - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gecko#cite_note-plosone.org-14)) Adhesive toepads evolved independently in about 11 different gecko lineages and were lost in at least 9 lineages.[14] ([Gecko - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gecko#cite_note-plosone.org-14)) The spatula-shaped [setae](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seta) arranged in [lamellae](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamella_%28anatomy%29) on gecko footpads e_nable attractive [van der Waals’ forces](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_der_Waals%27_force) \*between the β-keratin ([Beta-keratin - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta-keratin)) lamellae/setae/spatulae structures and the surface.[15] ([Gecko - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gecko#cite_note-15))[16] ([Gecko - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gecko#cite_note-Santos2007-16)) These van der Waals interactions involve no fluids; in theory, a boot made of [synthetic setae](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synthetic_setae) would adhere as easily to the surface of the [International Space Station](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Space_Station) as it would to a living-room wall, although _adhesion varies with humidity_.[17] ([Gecko - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gecko#cite_note-Puthoff-17))[18] ([Gecko - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gecko#cite_note-Prowse-18)) The setae on the feet of geckos are also self-cleaning and will usually remove any clogging dirt within a few steps.[19] ([Gecko - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gecko#cite_note-Hansen-19))[20] ([Gecko - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gecko#cite_note-20)) [Teflon](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polytetrafluoroethylene), which has very low surface energy,[21] ([Gecko - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gecko#cite_note-21)) is more difficult for geckos to adhere to than many other surfaces.

In [physical chemistry](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_chemistry), the **van der Waals force** (or **van der Waals’ interaction** ), named after [Dutch](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netherlands) [scientist](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientist) [Johannes Diderik van der Waals](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johannes_Diderik_van_der_Waals), is the sum of the _attractive or repulsive forces between [molecules](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molecule)_ (or between parts of the same molecule) other than those due to [covalent bonds](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covalent_bond) or the [electrostatic interaction](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrostatic_interaction) of [ions](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ion) with one another or with neutral molecules or charged molecules.

Van der Waals forces include attractions and repulsions between atoms, molecules, and **surfaces** , as well as other intermolecular forces. They differ from [covalent](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covalent_bond) and [ionic](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ionic_bond) bonding in that they are caused by correlations in the fluctuating polarizations of nearby particles (a consequence of [quantum dynamics](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_dynamics)[3] ([Van der Waals force - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_der_Waals%27_force#cite_note-Abrikosov-3))).

_"I may not be a chemical structure expert, but from the molecule name, molecular weight, and the little Vander Waals 3d visualization, [P75](https://a314.com/product/p75/) looks like it’s pretty far from AndrostA and AndrostE anything._"

> this is the first time, most asians and blacks did not get repelled by my using 15+ ug of p93 in a mix… What I did differently than any mix before was that I added 2.5mcg of p75 to it, beliving that p75 can enhance sexy masculinty. Early in the day, I used 2 drops of A314 + 20 mcg A1… Two hours later, I added 2x to go IS + 20mcg p93 + 2.5 mcg p75. I have tried this combo before, sans p75; I had blacks and asians trying to avoid me. When I had used, A314 + 20mcg A1 + IS before, I didn’t see t…
