> I’ve never tried WAGG, so I couldn’t compare it to TAK, but I’ll take your word for it. As far as the discussion with your Dad, do you think it might have escalated or become more intense if you weren’t wearing the TAK?

Yes… but in the past couple of months I’ve also been learning how to deflect arguements so they don’t escalate (I have been reading some books on influencing people, Dale Carnegie, etc.). The arguement would have sounded a little heated to an outsider, definitely not something pleasant dining talk, but it felt like nothing and my dad totally forgot about it an hour later and we were sitting around watching a TV show, like nothing had happened emotionally.

WAGG or TAK definitely wouldn’t cause people to argue. If anything it seems to produce agreement and non-arguement. Like there’s a “group mind” kind of effect, people want to seek a consensus. I had a similar philosophical discussion about aesthetics and and other philosophical topics about a month ago with my brother, a similar thing happened- we debated points between each other, but didn’t really argue and in the end, ended up agreeing more than disagreeing. It seems to make people want to get along a bit, especially in moderate dosages and/or low diffusions.

> I did not notice a calming self effect, but this time of year my sinuses wreak havoc on me, and it’s more often than not that I’ve got a nose full of Psuedoephedrine and don’t get much, if any, self effects from my pheros.

Try Quercetin from the health food store. I like the Jarrow brand 500 mg. It is a flavonoid which acts as a LOX inhibitor. It has an amazingly similar effect to psuedoephedrine though by a completely different mechanism. It is great for allergies or colds. Rather than a drug you’re dealing with a nutrient, which has the nice side-effect that it reduces the risk of cancer. And you don’t have to spray it into your nose. I usually take one or two and it lasts several hours, but I am a small person. I am not aware of any overdose risk.

Tacitus describes TAK as a dissociative. Does that make sense? As such it seems to me it would make sex not as good. You would want to get into the feelings rather than be dissociated from them.

Earlier this afternoon the woman was getting absolutely hysterical. She was hellbent on getting stressed out over problems which simply did not exist, except in her mind. Finally I sprayed some TAK on myself so I could calm down, ignore her and concentrate. It worked and she calmed down, too. It was, at least, somewhat similar to IFM, maybe better…

Disssosciative usually refers to a mental state where a person either is unconscious to what they are doing, or feel what they are doing is not real or personal (like they are watching a movie of somebody else- depersonalization). I don’t believe TAK or WAGG quite produce this sort of effect, though it does feel a bit like a person’s state of mind is decidedly altered and your consciousness is wrapped up in something fuzzy and soft (mild clouding of consciousness, maybe even a bit of a desire to do things slower and I felt just a touch clumsy, but I doubt I really was clumsy) - there’s also a “ringing” sensation of sorts, almost like you can hear it, and sounds seem to be altered and louder. This is at the high end of the dosage/diffusion scale, and one reason why I think lower doses are better. Honestly the effect reminds me a bit of the nitrous oxide gas that dentists use (laughing gas). Perhaps there’s a bit of a “truth serum” effect here… hmm… is this a pheromone or an airborne drug? Our bodies are actually producing this stuff? It would be a “wow” moment if they were, I guess we probably produce alot less than those 50 mcg’s I was trying.

Yes, this is pretty much how I’ve been using WAGG, a substitute for [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/), one that doesn’t bring on the Instant Alan Alda/Instant Night Terrors. Plus, unlike Instant Female Magic, it works on men too.

Thanks Warren, I’l give it a shot. I’d try just about anything to get rid of my sinus issues.

Sinus issues? You should try googling “neti pot” some time. Healthfood stores sometimes have them, too- basicly it involves pouring salt water through your nose. Plus you can either creep or freak people out, so it might be something cool to “show off” a bit. I don’t use one every day, just times I’ve been exposed to somebody who has a cold, or if my nose/sinuses are going nuts.

What’s wierder when you use a neti pot is when the water comes out your mouth 🙂 It has something to do with how you tilt your head.

My son uses a neti pot – or functional equivalent thereof. I suggested he try adding an ounce of [ASAP silver solution](http://www.hartamerica.com/ASAP%20Silver%20Solution.htm)to his eight ounces of saline. He thinks it helps. If you’re dealing with an infection, it would almost have to.

The other obvious thing is to take a couple of grams of vitamin C every day. You probably already are. Vitamin C not only helps with healing and fighting off infections, but it is also a mild antihistamine. What I’ve discovered with sinus issues is that vitamin C as ascorbic acid makes my sinuses burn. Things that are acid don’t necessarily, once digested, increase the acidity of the blood. But vitamin C seems to follow the simplistic case. If I use vitamin C as calcium ascorbate, I have no problems.

This holds true for hangovers, too. There a several [formulas available with vitamin C, cysteine and thiamine among othere things](http://www.life-enhancement.com/product.asp?ID=14), which are supposed to reduce the negative effects of alcohol consumption. I definitely find they help, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve discovered the ones with vitamin C as ascorbic acid (rather than calcium ascorbate) actually make my hangovers worse. Alcohol drastically increases the acidity of my blood. I get [pH papers](http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=TP-7056)to test my urine and use a product called [Buffer-pH](http://www.luckyvitamin.com/item/itemKey/69570)by Vaxa.

I tried 1 spray 12.5mcg of TAK, + Scent of Eros + ~ 3 mcg androsterone from NPA, + 1 spray [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/)/Openness (my own little personal atomizer mix). I didn’t encounter that many women tonight in my usual hangings out (I went with my brother to the burger joint to get coffee and a sundae, then to Wal-Mart and the grocery store where I bought some bath salts and my brother got picky about laundry detergents- ugghh). TAK at that low dosage does seem to be doing something to other people. I felt easy-going and a bit carefree, even a little silly sometimes. The waitstaff at the burger joint (Steak and Shake) was friendly and one of them recognized me, but tonight was mostly all men working.

So my conclusion is I think TAK is even effective at 12.5mcg, but nowhere near as intense. I wouldn’t be surprised if it does something even lower.

I can vouch for this. My fail-safe hangover remedy is alternating 8 oz glasses of V8 and Gatorade every 10 to 15 minutes. The nutrients from the V8 combined with the hydration from the Gatorade usually clears me up in a couple of hours if the hangover is particularly bad.

As for TAK, this definitely sounds like something I want to add to my next order. I’m particularly interested in the disassociative /nitrous oxide-like effects. Sounds trippy. Could be fun when combined with Spaceland. 😃

In the classic psychoanalytic sense we think of hysterical dissociations. The old timers would argue whether a man could be hysterical because a man does not have a uterus. _Hysterium_ is Latin for uterus. With the personality dissociated into enough different parts and the parts having amnesia for each others’ experiences you get a multiple personality disorder. Hypnotists generally use dissociation to speak of removing the consciousness from the feelings of the body. NLP will approach a problem like post-traumatic stress by doing a dissociation from the abused past self, “Okay, Mary, step out of the picture and look at a younger Mary [at the doorstep of impending trauma] as though you are watching her on a movie screen at a theatre.” Obviously, this sort of dissociative technique can also be well applied for pain control.

In its most basic meaning, to dissociate is simply to split. This is the term preferred by object relations theorists. The personality is split into separate parts or consciousness is split off from the body itself. In multiple personality disorders the split apart personalities appear sequentially. In a classic hysterical conversion the two parts manifest simultaneously, controlling different parts of the physical body. “I love my husband so much, but I’m paralyzed from the waist down!” Classic repression is another example of splitting with the repressed dissociated from consciousness.

Freud (1914) described repression as “the pillar upon which the edifice of psychoanalysis rests.” Traditional psychoanalysts interested in analyzing the psychosexual development of an essentially solipsistic organism preferred to think of repression (and the return of the repressed in symptom formation) as it affected the flow of consciousness. The object relations theorists see an oraganism seeking contact with external objects. They speak of pathology in terms of pathological splitting of the internal representations of objects and of the personality as it relates to those objects. It is at that point where splitting and repression are the same thing that the orthogonal disciplines of traditional psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic object relations theory intersect.

In the second half of the twentieth century, information technology followed a strikingly parallel path with structured analysis and design spawning the orthogonal discipline of object oriented analysis and design. Here the intersection between the disciplines would be the point where that diamond shaped decision point on classic flow charts becomes encapsulated within the concept of object oriented polymorphism. One method of processing is sequentially dissociated from another. Dissociation is a pretty important concept for man or machine…

Meanwhile, I am sitting in an apartment with a dysfunctional air conditioner on the hottest day of the year as the woman with bleeding fibroids in her hysterium rants incessantly at and about imagined adversities. Perhaps an hysterical dissociation from her miserably uncomfortable body leaves her desperate to find an object for her purposeless rage. Here is where TAK calms us both. My easy dissociation explanation is that by dissociating from my uncomfortable bodily feelings of sweltering heat and annoyance, I am able to escape, relax and focus. Is the same explanation applicable to the woman? She already seemed pretty outta touch; mightn’t a dissociative have made her worse?

If TAK does promote dissociation, how does it do it? Returning to the NLP example begun above, Mary is about to re-view (Bandler used to say “re-chunk”) her experience. The risk is that strong memories of the trauma will cause her to collapse back into the picture, and in an associated state re-experience the terror of an earlier time thus merely reinforcing her dysfunctional reactions. Strong positive anchors (conditioned stimuli for comfort) are held to allow her to maintain the dissociation and review more objectively the experiences of another woman – who just happens to be a younger version of Mary – and to learn from them without fear. Does TAK function as the positive anchor which provides the calm which allows the wearer to perform the higher psychological process of dissociation if he so chooses? If so TAK is not so much a dissociative as it is just a calming agent. Or does TAK actually promote dissociation thus allowing the wearer to step out of uncomfortable situations and achieve calm?

Tacitus made some insightful observations on a string entitled **Initial TAK observation:**

> [@tacitus](#):
>
> tonight I pulled out the stops and blasted myself with 150 mu of straight TAK, nothing else. At high doses it behaves like a mild dissociative, strong enough that there can be no mistake about what it is doing, though not so strong as to be problematic.
>
> Raising firing threshold for NMDA neurons can be a good thing, some anti seizure medicines do this, it has a calming, stabilizing, pain reducing quality…
>
> With high TAK, in various social contexts, subway cars, acting class, people in general were less turfy, less threatened. Combined with other pheromones this may result in being pro-social if lingering fears or discomforts are softened.

> [@Initial TAK observation](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/initial-tak-observation/95/11):
>
> TAK is, maybe possibly, the most shamanic of the pheromones… in that it has this reptile brain thing going on with it, maybe even below the level of sexuality… like time perceptions, location in space…that range of energy… it works best where there’s a high background energy, a lot of intensity trying to actualize, and TAK when used with the right incantations reveals the Zero Point , the Yin Focus that counters to the excess Yang Focus…

Tacitus’s emphasis of the calming aspects of TAK seem to support the notion that it is a calming agent. It is difficult for me to see how a [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) working on the lower brain centers could induce such a complex psychological process as visual-kinesthetic dissociation. OTOH Bandler liked to emphasize the truth that the olfactory nerve “has direct cortical connections” unlike the other senses, which are filtered through lower brain structures.

And yet tacitus tells us it behaves like a mild dissociative and claims, “there can be no mistake about what it is doing.” In the next quote he refers to the reptile brain and perceptions of time and space. I am forced to wonder if we are dealing less with psychological dissociation and more with the threshold where true Out of Body Experiences (OOBE) begin when the spirit leaves the body. Certainly Daedelus’s sense of clumsiness is an indication of the spirit being out of sync with the physical body. And he’s gonna tell me I’m crazy, but I have read accounts of OOBEs beginning with strange nonphysical ringing sounds. OTOH “sounds seem to be altered and louder” may simply mean that focus is being directed away from the kinesthetic."

So.. whadda y’all think? Is TAK a dissociative and if so in what manner? Or is it simply a calming agent? Or is it a liberator of spirit?

Dissosciative indentity disorder is a greatly exaggerated mental disorder. I’ve never encountered anybody in real life, in my whole life with this condition, but I’ve met alot of schizophrenics or depressives, or people that were sexually molested as kids and wish they could forget. I believe most DID can be explained by a combination of good ole-fashioned hysteria, bad hypnosis, and Munchausen’s syndrome. But, and that is just a big but, that has nothing to do with pheromones… at all. It’s just my personal opinion. I could mention though it ties in with the last point I will make, a certain tendency I notice on your part that I am noticing.

And depersonalization/derealization is extremely unthealthy if it persists. I find it hard to believe TAK’s purpose as a pheromone is to make us all feel unreal or unpersonal. It must have a far simpler purpose, one that is congruent with our genetic imperative to survive. Remember Occam’s Razor? Why would nature evolve a chemical response to make us feel wierded out, which is a hallmark of a dissosciative experience? Megadosing on a pheromone tells us little about what the pheromone’s purpose was, which is why I always trying a variety of dosages of a pheromone before I come to any firm conclusions.

> [@](#):

I don’t see what OBE’s have to do with pheromones, really, and referencing them does not clarify any issues, it merely complicates them. Lots of thigs can cause clumsiness. You can take neuroleptic drugs that’ll make a person walk with an altered gait and drool. That doesn’t mean schizophrenics are all on out of body experiences.

I notice a tendency for you to overanalyze things. You quote Freud, so can I… “Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar”. TAK has a simple effect, it doesn’t make a person mentally unhealthy or altered to the extent that they would do something really stupid or go against their beliefs- it’s not psychadelic or _truely_ mind altering- it just makes people feel easy, like emotional feelings aren’t quite as heavy. The conversations we had under influence of TAK were a _bit_ unusual, but they weren’t unhealthy and they didn’t make any of us uncomfortable to think of later- it wasn’t even like getting drunk really, and the nitrous oxide thing was only an analogy, as there were significant differences (for one thing, nitrous oxide really does shut your brain down, or rather, turn down the volume- it deprives your brain of oxygen). Again, no need to bring in Rod Serling to explain this stuff, there is no Twilight Zone in a bottle of TAK. (On a side note, I’ll give Warren a rep just for giving it a college try, but I disagree with his ideas… there’s nothing that ominous about TAK really, or that deep).

Sometimes I think my reports are a little too vivid, people get the wrong ideas. Note carefully, sometimes I just “feel” a little altered. That doesn’t mean I’m seeing pink elephants 🙂 Honestly, sometimes I get feelings of mild depersonalization whenever I quickly wash off pheromones, no matter what they are, as well. Our perceptions are always in flux, so this is only unusual in the sense of it being so blatant.

OK, now I’m trying 50mcg x 6 drops of WAGG diluted in 2.5ml of alcohol and edt, shaken thoroughly. 4 sprays. combined with some Scent of Eros I’ll update this post occasionally. I’m attempting to test out a hypothesis based on self-effects, maybe later I will try it out on other people some time this week.

0 Applied WAGG mixture
2 minutes. I feel very little effects, almost nothing,
5 minutes applied some Scent of Eros- mellow feeling is evident, I feel like I want to start moving slower (and no, I didn’t sniff my arm up close)
10 feeling fairly chilled out and mellow My head feels just a little fuzzy and I want to do things a little slower.
20 there’s a wierd feeling starting to creep up in my head, almost like my ears are ringing a little. My head feels a little bit more fuzzy. It’s easily dismissed but I notice my typing is slowed slightly.
34 minutes. I tried a few brief hypnosis relaxation videos on Youtube. Very interesting as I found myself being easily hypnotized and open to some verbal suggestions, such as feeling my shoulders or arms relax. When I came out of the hypnotic states after the second video, I noticed that my mental perception had been altered compared to where it was an minute 20- I didn’t notice the fuzzy headed feeling so much. I still feel incredibly slowed down. Was the fuzzy feeling up to minute 20 self suggestion? Who knows. The slowed, relaxed feeling feels real, though, and is the same before. My awareness seems heightened
50 minutes. I took Data 4 up on a suggestion and tried a very simple meditation just focusing on breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth, trying to focus just on my breathing and with my eyes closed. I have no idea what kind of meditation this is, but it does something- I felt like my whole body was getting heavier and my thoughts were getting a little slower and less focused on anything in particular. After about ten minutes or so, I stopped. I noticed an alert, but relaxed feeling. “Awake” was the first thing that popped into my head. I’ll try just doing something else for a while and seeing what feelings pop into my head… maybe some PC games.
52 minutes… before I go off for a while, I notice a wierd soft fuzzy sensation returning to my head, combined with an odd sensation in my left ear. That’s odd.
1 hour I tried playing a game for a few minutes, and since Data4’s around… I picked Deus Ex as the first thing that jumped into my head. I felt OK for a couple of minutes on the Liberty Island level (on _realistic_), I went around and got the sniper rifle from Paul Denton, smashed a few crates, shot at a security guard and drew his attention and ran back down the docks towards the bot (a cheap strategy of course). The security guard ran chasing me and the bot shredded him to pieces. But I definitely felt altered a bit, sort of like my TAK experience yesterday but I’m not sure it’s quite the same. I felt like I was sort of going through the motions and didn’t want to think too much about anything in particular. I stopped playing, saved my game just so I could long that. I’m going to go get some more coffee and try playing for a little while longer and see what happens.
1 hour 10 minutes… OK back to the game, just alt-tabbing out. I think the sniper rifle is a little wrong for this experience. I’m noticing that the patience to use the sniper rifle is a little annoying for some reason it’s a littel _extra_ annoying. The game doesn’t modify the actual physical difficulty of using the sniper rifle at all on _realistic_, so that isn’t the issue. Rather, it seems I don’t want to concentrate on details too much. I’ll keep playing with this and see what happens.
1 hour 30 minutes… I got up to inside the Statue sneaking past alot of the guards. I had to do some tricky thinking bits, and I noticed my skills were lower (granted, I haven’t played the game in a year but I’ve probably put lots of lots of hours in this game since it came out in 2001- I can beat the game easily on _Hard_). I was out of ammo for the sniper rifle and I had to resort to some clever tricks, such as planting explosives and throwing bottles to get guards to pass the explosives. I kept screwing up and dying and I felt disoriented a bit. Also, on the approach to the Statue when I was sneaking past guards, I noticed a faint sense of _jamais vu,_ the feeling that some of the things I’d done dozens of times before were a new or different; I felt ackward. I think I’ll retry this level and load up with expertise in the baton/riod prod and just go in sneaking and bashing, and see how I do.
1 hour 50 minutes… I replayed the first level on _hard_ with the stealthy/baton approach and I noticed it was much easier just trying to sneak around or run up to a guy and stun them, though there was a moment where I accidentally got into a nasty firefight and took hit or two and it really felt like I was loosing my cool and I was running around a bit like a chicken with my head cut off trying to wait for the tranquilizer darts to have their effect- like I didn’t plan than encounter well at all like I usually do in this game.

OK, that’s enough for now. I really think the WAGG experience I have had is very similar to the TAK experience I had the other night, though I’m not sure TAK is quite identical to WAGG after all, perhaps there is a concentration difference in my mixture, or perhaps WAGG does indeed have some other pheromone in there, or perhaps the experiences are just uncannily similar via different means. In fact my ears are ringing a bit right now, esp. my left ear and there’s this wierd fuzzy/pressure sensation inside my head, it’s subtle but there. I think I’m going to go wash this stuff off and see what happens and make one final note.

On washing it off, I notice a new feeling, like an enhanced awareness. My “head” also feels a little different, less clouded. And going back, I can notice alot of spelling errors in my previous notes, too… some of them quite noticeable (_long_ for _log_, for instance). Also some of the notes look a little sloppy and less readable.

Daedelus, I seem to recall you mentioning that you do some meditation and/or self hypnosis. I think it’d be an interesting experiment to try it with a mix such as the one you’ve got on now. Ever considered it?

Hmm… going back and looking over my experiences… it does seem perhaps Warren may be somewhat right. With my WAGG videogame experience, I did get some feelings of “depersonalization” of sorts, especially the _jamais vu_ moment, though they were quite mild and not that disturbing and there was little or no assosciated anxiety as you might get with the mental illnesses characterized by dissosciation or by drugs- overall though I’d say the exeprience was a little unpleasant in the game as I felt less competent. It mirrored my experiences with TAK a bit at 48mcg- overall I felt less in control of the situation, more like I was going with the flow.

So I suppose you could consider whatever class of pheromones that TAK and WAGG would fall into to be somewhat dissosciative. I just hate using terms like that because I like using layman’s speak, something somebody else can understand. I think “going with the flow” or “making a person more open to suggestion/less defensive” is more descriptive. Clearly large doses of TAK are OD’s and aren’t all that necessary to get results, as well. In lower doses it seems to just create an easy feeling, not a surreal feeling.

I could be mistaken, but I do believe that’s the very first time pheromones have been used on a video game and then reported on in detail. LOL! As Larry the Cable Guy might say, that’s rep worthy-- an’ I don’t care who y’are.

LOL… BTW, first time I wore WAGG… I felt a bit like Homer Simpson for some reason. Then I just notice I wrote I felt “less competent” playing _Deus Ex_. Wasn’t there a Simpson’s episode where the gag was all about Homer’s _lack of competence? “I pulled a Homer?”_ I don’t remember for sure, there must be hundreds of episodes by now.

I tossed a spray (12.5mcg) of this with a drop of A314 for work today. At this dose, it adds a nice extra level. For some reason I was really cheerful as I went about the day, and I still had that A314 “walking tall” sort of stride going on. Really great for the first half of the day. Things just went so smooth, and people seemed friendlier than usual. I even found myself going out of my way to say hello to everyone I passed in the hall, and I usually got cheerful responses back.

However, the second half of the day just seemed to drag in a tiring sort of way. The whole day seemed twice as long as usual. Might be an indicator of how strong this stuff is and I just got burnt out, or maybe it just wore off.

Overall, I’d say it made all my interactions much friendlier, and I only have a little Tak left, so I’ll probably keep it at this dose.

TAK and WAGG both seem to fade after about 5 hours. WAGG used to fade after about 3 hours, but since mixing it with cologne, I get much better results.

So at this point, it seems like you’re pretty convinced WAGG is TAK. That’s cool, have you noticed any other aspects of TAK that you haven’t previously?

My experiences show that it can definitely quiet people down, and get them to go with the flow. The best I could do to describe the experience is the way a paper towel might absorb a pool of water on the table. It kinda sticks quickly and the water just binds the paper and table together in an ever widening expansion.

As for martyk’s experience with the 2nd half of the day slowing down, I seriously have taken naps or someone else around me has taken/wanted to nap after a few hours of exposure. I wonder it’s a matter of just getting burned out, or if it’s getting burned out + the combination of the TAK making you want to slow down, chill, and ‘go with the flow’ of being tired, settled in bed kinda vibe.
