A thought occurred to me a while back.

As some of you may know, some aspects in sports as well as weight lifting are very mental. Personal example: I play goal keeper in soccer. It’s easily 75% mental (hard to understand I know, but if you try it you will know what I mean), with only the rest 25% being just straight up technique being pounded into your muscle memory. Same goes for weight lifting. For example, if you don’t believe you can finish a rep, you probably won’t. Our state of mind, mood, and attitude play a huge role in some of the physical activities we participate in I have found.

So, where am I going with this?

On this forum, many people talk about some effects of mones such as a feeling of (for lack of a better term) happiness, like in IS. Others seem to put you in an alpha-like mindset (very very useful in my sport!), as well as some side effects of aggression (in yourself and/or others) etc.

I think it would be interesting for any of the athletes on this forum to share any of their experience with mones during sports, and also experiment with this!

Anyone experienced positive or negative effects in sports with mones?

One last thought: I think sweating would wash off the mones pretty quickly unfortunately. Maybe on clothing, such as your jersey/uniform?

I’m also a soccer goalie, I’m getting my mones today so after my next game I’ll post any differences I find

Useless,

I’ve tried it from playing sports and lifting weights, mostly sweat washes it away. Some have negatively impacted me, I.E. [P83](https://a314.com/product/p83/). IShine doesn’t help as much becauise as I start sweating most of it is gone. I would leave the mones at home and eat well prior to events or lifting or take a pre-workout supplement for lifting or the Gatorade pre sport series.

I agree with P51 on this, stay away from mones for sports since most of them will be washed away by sweat anyway. There are plenty of good preformance enhancers out there that were specifically designed for this.

What about in activities where you aren’t sweating much? For example, when I lift weights I tend to go heavier weight and less reps, and I don’t sweat very much.

But what you guys are saying is what I was expecting. I already take supplements for sports that work just fine

I guess you probably could in that case but if your not sweating during a workout your probably not pushing yourself hard enough and resting too much in between sets.

Watch where your spraying it to, for example if your doing a chest workout and normally spray on your bare chest switch up the spot, since all the blood is flowing into that area it will be much warmer and they will most likely diffuse faster.

I agree with ballzan about sweating. You probably aren’t pushing yourself enough. That is of course if you are looking for gains rather than just to maintain and even then I would presume you would do better if you pushed yourself.

However I disagree to stay away from mones in sports. A strategic application of A314 will do wonders for your game, confidence and if you get close enough destroy the opponents competitive spirit. The trick is knowing where to apply it so it doesn’t get washed or wiped away from perspiration.

I noticed that my best spot for it during workouts was the back of my hands because they typically didn’t get wet like other spots. However when I’m lifting three days a week I wear gloves. So next best spot was along the front of the forearm.

Remember the key to mones is to experiment and see where you get your best results from. None of us can tell you what will work in your situation. We only have our own experiences to shape our lives.

Yup, but I have to recover from some injuries, so I have to take it easy for now. I only work up a sweat when I’m working out the parts of my body that aren’t injured.

The hands sound like a good idea for most, but I have to wear gloves during soccer. I could try the forearms and pay attention to see how much they rub on the ground.

I lol-ed at the “destroying the opponents competitive spirit” part. I always squirt a bit of IJ/TUTH on the pulse point on my wrist and swipe it under my nose along with A314 before I workout/ have a game (I play rugby). If you’re goalie, by the time they get close enough to you that they catch your phero cloud they’re probably going to score unless you’re talking about house league haaha. For working out however, Steveo definitely got it right about the back of the hands/forearms thing. The question is, are you trying for self-effects or effects on others? I apply under my nose for self effects and even then only for the initial focussing and animalistic effects I get because I sweat it all off halfway through. Although the IJ i use has cops in it and that shit is staankky and takes a while for the smell to disappear

Well you didn’t mention injury, but I hope you are healing. Rubbing forearms on the ground! Now there’s quite the visual 🙂
