My insomnia kicked into overdrive last night and I only got 3 hours sleep. Day 4 of the new job, I looked like death defrosted with bags under my eyes that I would have been charged for excess luggage if I’d tried to board a flight. So today, I had a major tired to overcome so I went with:

**2 x IS/B; 1 x spray to each side of my neck.**

**4 x IO; 1 x spray to each wrist; 1 x spray to each side of my neck.**

**Self effect:** This picked me up sufficiently and helped me with getting psyched up to chat on the phone all day to various vendors. I felt tired but not drained and it helped with warding off the sleepiness that comes with a very warm, dry, still atmosphere. Helped me put a confident face on to get on with business.

**Inside temp:** This is consistently in the low to mid 70’sF; dry and still. There’s no air movement. Plus we have glass floor to ceiling on the outer wall, so when the sun heats that up; it raises the ambient temp. Killer views tho’. Seattle is on the water with mountains front and back and some beautiful architecture.

I was quieter today, though my office co-habitor D looked like he wanted to talk; but left me alone because I looked like Hell. 4 x IO in a normal state would have me giggly and very happy. But I was so tired those effects were mitigated and I managed to get through a day of continual phone calls.

There was also a workshop for attorneys and paralegals today, and I was supposed to organise that. And mostly did. I only found out about it on Tuesday and had to integrate that into the endless phone stuff. There was confusion, but everyone took it down a notch and was satisfied when I told them that I had everything under control.

After lunch (2.30pm) I reapplied 4 x sprays of IO just as a push to get through the afternoon. I got chattier with a little second wind, so did everyone I got chatty with. Good reactions all round today. Lot’s of eye contact and much smiling and easy chat.

A few people expressed concern for my health today - I looked that bad. And not just ‘are you ok?’ but ‘are you feeling alright? are you coming down with something? would you like something?’ Just needed a couple of 5Hr Energy bottles.

PS I’m waiting for PayPal to stop dicking with my account so I can make an order! They’ve been giving me problems for the last 10 days!

Caffeine doesn’t make me ‘up’ or ‘hyper’ or anything. I’d forgotten about the B’s; _Guarana_, on the other hand makes me hyper, bouncy, speedy and anything from single point focus to speed chatty. I love guarana - in small irregular doses. I should get some B’s . . . . . **Thanx!** So glad you reminded me!

would you suggest melatonin, 5mg for her? It helps me, but you know more about this stuff, dont want to suggest something that is not good for her.🙂

I tried a bottle of Melatonin - no result. Funnily enough, when I remember, St John’s Wort slows my thinking down sufficiently to sleep. Now that I’ve bought the necessary clothing for this job - let’s hope I get to use them for a fair while - I need to get my supplements anyway, so I gonna get some Mega B (with NO yeast!) and some St John’s Wort as well. 😃

So today I had to go and get some clothes for this corporate job. 😮 My trousers are so big now, they MUST have a belt to stay up and the bits in between the belt loops sag to expose skin. Horrifying.
Apart from that, it’s catch up day with my phone calls and banking blah, blah blah.

At 3.45pm

**2 x sprays P86 on one forearm and smeared down both. See sig line for dosage.**

**Self effects:** Not really sure. The online banking chick got me in a temper flare with her condescension and I snapped. But bounced back really quickly and forgot about her in a red hot minute. Not my usual reaction.

**Outside temp:** 69F; 75% humidity. Sunny and almost warm. Still wore short sleeves out tho’.

Everyone that breathed while in my personal space was sweet and smiling with/at me.

I hadn’t eaten, so the first stop at the mall was the food court. Not interested in junky stuff and took a minute to decide. The guys offering samples for the Japanese place offered me a piece of chicken - but followed me for a minute and kept offering me chicken. Just smiling and great eye contact - when I stopped being so distracted and looked at him - because he kept coming back to me. No shortage of people for him to feed, but he seemed to like feeding me.

Outside the mall, I stopped a tall African-American female to ask if she knew where X was. She looked down at me, started smiling and said she was going there and would show me in. We chatted for the walk. Big smiles (she had one that makes you smile back 😃)

Customer service rep (male) when I asked directions inside the store; gave me a big smile and personalised directions.

Customer service rep (female) when I asked for better directions; was smiling and chatting to me and asked me to wait for her to find a store map.

Other shoppers in my space would smile and say ‘Hi’.

Cashier was smilingly patient while I juggled 2 cards and told me it wasn’t a hassle and didn’t even look at the line behind me. Took her time bagging my stuff and made sure it was double bagged for the walk back to the TC.

Stranger (female) was so chatty and nice; called me ‘dear’ wished me a ‘happy tomorrow’ and good luck. No overt reason for any of those.

I haven’t done any reading on the effects that people have had with P86. I try not to bias myself; so I don’t know what this does/has done.

Would you say that so far it seems to be a social pheremone, and does not seem to have a different response from women or men, or do you notice a sex difference?

With the first application worn out in public; no, I didn’t notice any difference apart from the norm. As in, men and women express their feelings in a different manner. Social, so far. I know this is a Putative that is sought after; so I’m trying to figure out why. Going shopping (food) in a bit; so the grocery store is a good place to test - I’ve been testing on them every time I go. 😮 Social experimentation is good for the soul. 😃

Yes 😃 I like the ones that have no sexual distinctions because I dont want to alienate people of any gender/age/race. Just wanna be seen as approachable, friendly but not a pushover.

Hey, heres a cuppa cyber tea for you, and if you ever get out this way for realtime I will take you to islands and cook ya lobstah!! Ifin you eat such things.Would be great to meet you, Astrea.

I will take you up on that. I love the woods and the wild. But also love to get back to the city. I will make sure I’m healthy (read being able to eat the way I need to) for at least a month before; so I may indulge in the lobstah! Laaahve the lobstah! But, you don’t even have to tempt me with food - I’d love to come and see you and the place you love. Here’s to cyber high tea - what flavour jam do you prefer on your scones? 😛🙂

I am more of a wilderness person myself, the city is far too wild for me!! At least you can predict what most wild things will do, with humans, well…you cant!

Quick advice for you. I’ve gone through the whole tired by end of the day thing with some sleep problems.

You’ve been testing heavily from what I can tell. What I would do is try and take a week off, eat healthy, and drink lots of fluids. I’m not sure if you do, I didn’t get to read everything in detail yet, but some activity 1-2 days a week, whether it be a run, or the gym, helps out A LOT.

So, I told you all this was not a good fit for me, didn’t I? When my boss came back on Monday; she called me into her office and listed all the things that she didn’t tell me at the interview that are part of my job.

The list was enormous. Personal assistant to her and all the attorneys. Responsible for everything including a database that hadn’t been updated for 6 months, arranging the maintenance of the floor - from air conditioning to window washing; helping the billing clerk do the billing; helping the bookkeeper with the timekeeping and everything else.

By the time she finished, my eyes were bugging out of my head and I had to excuse myself and run to the bathroom with the IO to head off a panic attack. Completely overwhelming. I’ve been fully loaded before - I’ve even been a whole department by myself - but this is insanity. The job is plenty big for two people. I stopped smiling and on two occasions went to the bathroom to cry. Yes, I know. Cry.

After lunch she called me into her office and told me it was obvious I was feeling overwhelmed and that it wasn’t going to work out. They were letting me go. I was so relieved that I smiled at her.

The previous chick that had this job had just up and quit two days after getting the 6 months behind database. I feel for her. This was at least a 2 person job - and for someone with legal experience. Not for a noob with no legalese.

3 dodgy jobs. 3 weirdnesses. These things happen in threes. Next one is a realistic job - _that’s a good fit 4 me._

_Why would you interview someone and not disclose the fact that they want someone who can do the work of 2 people? Why in that situation would you hire an_\* artist?\*

Yes I have the other experience, and no, I didn’t ‘beef up’ my resume. No point - especially with this kind of thing common in this economy. They actually need someone who’s knowledgeable about law processes; the state bar; how to get accreditation’s arranged for the attorneys; just that much was taking me hours to figure out. Nevermind that I had only a couple of days to get some majorly important shit done.

That day started with

**2 x IS/B; 1 X spray to each side of my neck.**

**2 x IH; both to the top of my head**

And ended with

**4 x sprays of IO to my neck and chest and I just kept spraying.**

I was so freaked out that it only kept my sanity from running screaming from the building. I still couldn’t smile. Until I left.

So the moral of the story is: Please believe me when I tell you something isn’t right for me. I’ve played in a number of different arenas and know what is and isn’t a good fit. This wasn’t and I knew it from the start.

They still haven’t got a clue and they’ve had 2 quit that job in the last 4 months. I didn’t quit, but am the third person who couldn’t take it in the last 4 months.

oh no ☹ ☹ it’s ridiculous that if you’re number 3 in 4 months that they haven’t figured out that they need to restructure, either to allocate duties across people properly or just to create two positions. being the assistant to entire department is hard enough; to do it without any experience in the field AND with office manager responsibilities and so many other things just isn’t possible.

best of luck in the continued search 🙂

Exactly, and a bad move on their parts, they will have lots of problems because of it with their business, and have lost good staff too.. how very stupid of them.. Best of luck and I am certain you will find a position that is much better for you!🙂

I have acquired some Meo/Est. So today I just had a couple of things to pick up from my friend Karen.

The pump hasn’t been used yet, so I ended up with a partial spray.

**2 1/4 x spray Meo/Est to my neck. @ 50mcg.**

**Self effects:** None that I could tell.

**Outside temp:** 77F; 59% humidity; Beautiful warm sunny day; left the house in short sleeves.

I left the house and realised it was peak hour for Seattle and was gonna cut it close to meet up with Karen at her work and pickup mail and stuff. Lots of traffic and lots of stopping. Running behind - but I left the house without my phone and therefore couldn’t check the time. But I wasn’t bugging over it. Just noting time when someone’s device or watch was convenient and I didn’t have to do a head twist to see.

I got there in time; we met; she gave me my stuff and we had a cigarette by her car. She was very sweet and complimentary about how my ‘whole aspect and demeanor’ has changed and chilled out since I moved. Don’t know if that was a hit.

At the store where I get my cigarettes, it looked like a shift change. All the guys were there; when I arrived they were all talking amongst themselves with their backs to me and I waited patiently for someone to notice me. A couple of minutes go by and two turn around and big smiles - but they know me, so that could be their natural response now. One asks what can he get me, the other is reaching for my cigs already and even gets the number right. The other 2 are just looking at me and smiling.

The bank teller was exceptionally nice, actually addressed me by name, made a point of eye contact, smiled a lot and went a little beyond what I normally get at the bank; plus a little personal interaction.

At my stop (home) I stopped for chocolate and a pepperoni stick; the woman in there was so super nice to me (has not been before) that we end up exchanging names, and I’m going to give her this scent I have (and am not chuffed about) that she asked me about. I let her sniff my arm and she loves it, so I went out a couple of hours later - close to her closing - and gave it to her.
Why keep something if you don’t like it? Spread the love, I say.
