**Location:** Shops **Pheros Worn:** [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) & [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) **Self Effects:** Feel relaxed and confident/seek test areas **Hit Type:** IOIs/Proximity One self effect that pheros have on me is that I want to put myself into situations where I can observe their effects on others. So today, instead of staying in the office at lunchtime, I went to town to browse around the shops. The morning hit was still in my mind (see my post: HIT At Work) and I wanted to see what (if any) hits I could get from complete strangers. Firstly, I got plenty of eye contact from women while walking around. I put this down to a number of factors: 1. Self effect. Because the pheros were making me feel more relaxed, confident, and more of a cool dude (must be the Instant Gentleman), my bearing and manner had probably changed subtly. In other words, the self effects helped me to achieve congruence. 2. Awareness. Because I was looking at the women around me to gauge their reaction, I may have caused some of this eye contact myself, or seen IOIs that are sometimes present but which I miss because I am not looking for them. As they say, you can’t observe something without changing that which is observed. The fact is, it doesn’t matter. The IOIs were there, whatever the reason. The truth of the matter is probably that the pheros cause self effects and the self effects strengthen the ‘message’ others receive from the pheros. The truth probablty lies in an area between the effect of the pheromone and the effect of the wearers congruence to the pheromone. OK, now to the hits: **Newsagent Shop:** Went in to get a movie magazine and the girl behind the counter (20’s, quite attractive) gave me the biggest smile and her hand lingered over mine as she gave me my change. She wasn’t acting like that with any other customers. (mostly males around my age). **Bookstore:** Just went in to browse, then selected ‘targets’ and stood close to them to gauge a reaction. Two women turned to me and smiled. One of them appeared next to me later in another part of the store and stood very close to me while she scanned the shelves. **Bus Stop:** While waiting for the bus back to work, a woman behind me seemed interested in talking to me. She just looked like she wanted to say something but didn’t know what. When the bus finally arrived, she started talking to me about the lateness of the buses, etc. We stopped talking when we got on but she sat behind me and smiled at me as I got off at my stop. To me, the events above are all confimed hits. I love the subtle smell of Instant Gentleman, and I don’t think I realised how strong the self effects were until now, when they have worn off. I think back to how I was walking around at work and in town and I am surprised at myself. 😃 Tomorrow night I am going out with friends to some pubs, so I am already deciding which pheros to try out… Adam ---

Great report, Reps. I too get better Hits when combining AMMO and [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/). Out of interest how many sprays of each did you have on? ---

That is skin under shirt, M & M. I sprayed the Gentleman on my chest before putting on my shirt. I don’t wear a tie to work, so the top couple buttons of my shirt were open, letting the Gentleman there waft out subtly. The second spray was higher…on my neck. Adam ---

Nice post Adam…very scientific! Why not use the same mix when your at the pubs only amp up the [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) to two sprays directly to your upper chest and the instant gentleman to the back of your neck and hair. That way every woman you meet will get a blast of your Ammo ---
