I wore 2-3 sprays of MX 134 to both of the two job interviews I recently had. Hard to say how it affected the interviewers; they were pros and didn’t reveal much during the sessions, and it seemed everyone was asked to the second interview, because HR notified me of it on my way out the door from the first one (so I think getting asked to #2 couldn’t have been based on my performance on the inbasket exercise or the interview itself). But what I noticed in myself was that I was more than usually calm, relaxed and focused during each interview, with a minimum of my usual stomach butterflies. I think the MX 134 impressed ME with my own competence! 😉 I felt confident enough to make a calm presumptive statement of the salary I desired above the minimum for the position, something that I usually feel pretty nervous doing (what if they rule me out merely 'cos I brought up the MONEY?!?). I even dropped the hint that I do have an active resume on Monster (implying …) _chuckle_ I’ll be hearing Monday how interested they are in me. I know I’m #1 in the list ranking (it’s in a classified system, so they are doing formal candidate ranking). I know the boss is interested in me, because she encouraged me over the phone to apply. What I don’t know is whether the budget people will allow her to offer me the pay I want. Hoo boy. I’m still impressed with myself. Niiiice! 🙂 I’m going to keep the bottle handy for when she calls on Monday … just in case I need to do any persuading. ---
