Today I went to help out with this local “community fair” thing that was held in the gym at the park. It was basically a bunch of tables set up, maybe 30 or so, by different agencies, banks, local unions, even the 2010 US census had a table there. Each person there also got a free ticket for food (chili/rice and hot dogs). There were a nice assortment of politicians there, including a senator, a representative or two, a couple of mayors, some political candidates, etc.

At the event, I walked around checking out all the tables (and also getting loaded up with free pens, tote bags, candy, even a calculator, lol) . Both males and females were extremely friendly to me. Quite a few people said "hi how are you?"to me as if they knew me, most of them I had no idea who they were.
After I made my rounds, I went into the food place to go help in there. Again, people were super friendly to me, more so than usual. I also got kissed quite a few times (on the cheek!) by quite a few men, mostly unknown to me previously. Including at least three of those politician guys.
I do think this combination added a definite wow factor, people were really drawn to me, much more so than normally. I have helped out with similar events before, but never had this much attention.
Silly me, why did I wait so long to finally try my p79? This putative is now on my “definitely must always have, basic stuff” list!
