OK, my bottle of MX289 is near an end, time to report 🙂 **Dosages:** 1 spray to 4 sprays **Self-Effects:** Not any. Nada. Nowt. Nothing. **Effects on Others:** Shiny happy people. I think. MX289 is [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) 4x with a new fixative to make it last longer. IS 1x I get instant self-effects from. Grinning like a lunatic for 5 minutes on 1 spray from a To Go. MX289 I get none of that…BUT…that doesn’t mean it’s not working. It could be that the fixative to make it last longer diminishes that rush and makes it last over a longer period. That’s how I look at it anyway. With others I’m pretty sure I saw the shine effects but perhaps more subtle. i.e. people were shiny happy but not so pronounced. But it lasted for longer. A typical experience would be IS type effects 3 hours after application to top of head. MX289 summary: less hard hitting than IS - seems to need longer exposure, but it is longer lasting. 4x IS in this new fixative isn’t like 4 sprays of 1x IS in normal fixative - to me, it’s more like 1x IS but lasting much much longer, and without the self-effects. Yeah I got absolutely nothing out of MX289… not sure why… I get great self effects from [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/).
