This week, my girlfriend and I have been attending a harp camp at a nearby college. It’s this week long thing where you learn the basics of playing harp, some theory and techniques, history, and give a recital. Anyway, a week or so ago, I found out one of my coworkers was the biological daughter of one of the harp teachers (her dad has custody over her and she lives with her dad and stepmom.) Anyway, I also found out she would be hanging around, since she wanted to visit her mom. However, at work she never seemed particularly interested in me. She was friendly towards everyone, got a little irritated by everyone by the end of the day (we worked in a nice little pizza parlor) and just never showed any preference for me over anyone else at work. I also know that as of last week she had a boyfriend, though she quit last Saturday, so I’m not completely sure any more. Anyway, it’s currently that time for my girlfriend, and I read somewhere that certain [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) can calm women and keep them from getting irritated during this time, and my girlfriend tends to get pretty irritated towards just about everything. So I decided to test out a couple pheromones to see if it would have any effect. I wore a couple of sprays of IO (one on each side of my neck) and a spray of IFM on my wrists. (Yes, that’s probably backwards, as you want to spread IO all around you, and high motion, wide range application points like the wrists are a prime location, I would think, but it was an accident.) I did notice that my girl was a lot more tolerant of things, and didn’t overreact like she usually does. This was nice. However, my coworker, Anne, was also affected by the pheromones, or so it seems. Yesterday, she wasn’t especially interested in me. She would sort of shout my name whenever she saw me, but she didn’t follow me around or anything. However, today, when I got to the building, she was sitting with her mom eating chips (my girlfriend wasn’t there yet) and I walked over and talked to her a bit, but not anything deep or meaningful. I’d talked to her like this before plenty of times. This time, however, it seemed to spur something. During the day, she kept coming over and talking to me whenever she saw me, whether my girlfriend was around or not. I’m fairly sure she knows Andrea is my girlfriend, and we did act like a couple to an appropriate extent, walking together, standing close, and sometimes holding hands. Anne didn’t seem phased though, and kept coming up and talking to me. Around noon the group went roller-skating at a nearby rink. Andrea and I had just got up and were getting used to the new wheels stuck to our feet (we don’t skate often) when Anne, who also just put her skates on, comes by and “trips.” The quotations are necessary because it was a pretty pathetic trip. From what I could tell, she could skate, and she could easily have regained her balance. Instead, she veered to the side, swinging to catch herself on a bench, but landing with one hand casually touching my side (arm around me) and allowed the hand to linger for a few seconds even after she had regained her balance. After that, whenever my girlfriend and I would take a little sit-down break from skating, Anne would either come sit next to us, or look at me with a big smile whenever she went past. I also noticed her looking at me when she didn’t think I was looking though, and once saw her just watching me from the other side of the rink, sort of leaning against a wall. Seems to me like fairly obvious IOIs, but then she’s also a little weird. Still, she’s a smart girl, and I wouldn’t expect her to keep obviously intruding on my girlfriend’s territory unless she was really interested. Andrea definitely picked up on it, teasing me at first, but later getting a little angry, since I wasn’t really doing anything to stop Anne or give any hints to her. I would have said something, maybe, but I decided to walk the fine line between seeing how far this would go, and keeping Andrea from confrontation. The pheromones seemed to help with both aspects. Anyway, that’s my first major report. Thank the heavens I didn’t wear TUTH or anything. My girlfriend and I are 17, by the way. Anne is 18. ---

Great report Reps 😉 Its good for your girl friend to see interest coming from someone else it keep them on their toes. Just keep it in perspective and if you see it getting out of hand make it Krystle clear where you heart lies and you will be fine. No need to stress 😉 Tisha ---

Great report but for the love of god make more use of paragraphs! I think I went crosseyed at least 5 or 6 times reading that. 😉. ---

Heh, sorry. I read a lot, both nonfiction and fiction, and reviewing papers for other people and am used to seeing that sort of thing. You’d think that would make me use proper formatting and paragraph breaks, but I guess I was tired, and since it made since in my head I made the assumption that it would be fine for everyone else too. I’ll try to either keep it brief or use paragraphs from now on. ---

I realize now that I should have kept my ongoing report in this thread, but instead I started a new one for each day. The other days weren’t quite as exciting, but they still added to the growing tension between Anne and my girlfriend. There’s no way I’ll be able to tell Andrea that Anne will be on the same campus as me for a full year.
