i glossed over it. I guess the backstory is everything was going fantastic- at least in my eyes. We go on vacation together to visit her friends in late april and that’s when she started drinking like a fish. Before that I had only seen her drink maybe 2-3 beers in a night. She had always said I was too agreeable. I told her that nothing was worth fighting about because anything she asked was actually valid. I did say that I will disagree about something someday. I never told her to stop or cut back drinking. As a former addict myself, I know you can’t just tell people that because that is something you have to learn all on your own. I just said I thought she drank way too much in public and that i didn’t mind if she got that trashed with friends and family in a safe setting. I made many mistakes- I learned that I was always compliant. I also let her know my feelings about the drinking and that it was my own insecurities. The weird thing is she said that she agreed with me. So when we get back it’s like a flip got switched. I knew she was busy with family stuff but it’s like she went out of her way to avoid me. I would only text or call once every other day. It’s like she wanted to break up with me when I disagreed with her and she took her time. She said a lot of things that just cut me deeply. “I don’t know if I ever loved you” “The age difference is a really big deal” “I never had a chance to really drink so I want to concentrate on that” She opened me and was the one who pursued me and she knew my age. She broke up with me May 25. Her words were: Sometimes I can’t stand you at all. (possibly my usage of none during her pms) and she said that when she goes out drinking she likes to flirt and doesn’t want to cheat on me because she knows she may be having sex. “You knew I was a slut when you met me” What can one say to any of that? I didn’t post in my journal because I was playing around with the mones and mixes and just having fun. I should have because it would be easier to see the timeline.
