It is no rumor. I also recollect hearing that you use quite different parts of your brain, and possible more of it while sleeping, specifically while dreaming in I believe the stage they call _Rem Sleep_, which leads to the amazingly vivid dreams we have. Ever have those kinds where you fall and fall and fall and WHAM you hit the ground and…wake up in your bed with your heart pounding? I have, and I have never had a day dream do that. Think of this fact too, ever wonder why it is so hard to remember most dreams for very long, if at all, once awake, even though they are so damned real you could have swore that you really did win the lotto and lay Jessica Alba in one night? 10% brain usage is no rumor, although the second part I am not sure exactly how fact that is, though I did study dreams (kinda) in school, when I was paying attention. ---

Sorry, but I don’t see how your example of vivid dreams would fall in the category of unused brain power. It obviously IS used then - and certainly has a specific function for us (that we might not understand yet). That we can not CONCIOUSLY ACTIVATE that part of the brain does not mean that it’s not used… So no, I still doubt that there’s such thing as unused brain power - wouldn’t make sense to me. ---

Normal people use only 1% of their brain. If you use 3% of your brain you are a genius. Albert Einstein is said to use only about 5 to 10% of the brain. ---

Good things are meant to be shared. If they don’t believe in pheromone, there is nothing we can do. I am willing to share with people around me who believe. ---

I attended a seminar by a memory expert who teach people how to stimulate our brain to use more of our brain. By the way, he is a Guiness world of record holder for memorizing the Oxford dictionary. He is a PhD. ---

I’ve just read around the web concerning that item and found something that might show that there is not only a certain amount of the brain working. The neurons in our brain die if we don’t use them. For example, if someone turns blind sometime in his life, the neurons that were used to process the visual data simply die, because they are of no use anymore (and would waste precious energy). It’s easy to see that when we only use 10% of our brain, 90% of the neurons that are unused would die. But they don’t… I guess one of the reasons this false belief is still alive is that some gurus can use it to make money - “activate the other 90% of your brain” seminars and such… Just google around - you’ll find numerous sites who say that it’s not true! ---

surely you cannot knock something and utterly dismiss it until you try it. androtic does make bold claims about their products, but they offer such good deals (and togos which are basically free samplers) that i say just shut up and try some stuff. apply it properly, give it time, and look good/spit good game. and then you can analyze their effectiveness. ---
