Hello pherotalk community, my name is josh. I’m 18 years old and a senior in high school. I live in Massachusetts, my favorite part about MA would have to be the seasons, and the beaches of cape cod. One of my friends introduced me to this website today and the effects of the cologne sprays intrigued me. Ive had the same girlfreind for about 3 years now, and its amazing; so im not looking to impress other girls. But hey, whos to say that wont happen 😉 lol. i just really cant wait to start my phero spray testings 🙂 ---

Hello Josh and welcome to the forum. Hope you don’t mind I cut the last couple h’s off of your name. I guess you can tell we really need more info to really be able to help you. Robbie and mgnum have told you what we need plus which sticky you can read to find the guidelines for getting a gift certificate. In the meantime try reading the stickies in the mens forum - they will be a big help in figuring out what the different produts are and what all the jargon around here means. You can also read through the threads in my signature block. Not all of them may apply to you but remember - knowledge is power and what you do not need right now you may want in the future. My personality is kind of out going and i can be shy, but i would have to say that im more outgoing then shy 🙂 lol. i plan to use these [pheromone colognes](https://a314.com/shop/) when im around my girlfriend; when i go out, or maybe even when im just at school. im pretty laid back for the most part, and i really want to see if the pheromones effects really work as good as the website and the forums say. my freind says they work great, so i have no doubts that ill be dissapointed with the products. From the range of products that ive looked at i think the respect one, the instant shine, i would like to feel like a star 😉 . the turn up the heat one. might just be the first one i order though. the name is intriguing. and who wouldnt mind the instant honesty phero spray. all of these sound amazing. and i cant wait to start exploring them. ---

Hey there Josh! As a guy starting off with no experience with pheromone use, i personally would not recommend going with the Turn Up The Heat for your first order. It’s a heavy -none based pheromone that gives off a very sexual vibe… except its also really easy to overdose with. Too much TUTH will actually turn girls away and make some guys VERY aggressive towards you. Best worn when in a high traffic place like a club or bar, where your pheromones have to compete with lots of other guys’ pheromones. However, it DOES work wonders with a significant other if you spray a little on before an evening in. Have a good cover scent though, as some girls find it a bit offensive (i believe stinky feet was mentioned once or twice). For a good sexy vibe that’s easy to use, you cant go wrong with Ammo. It’s also a -none product, but it has 2 [social pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/social-pheromones/) and 13 buffers to help balance it out and prevent that OD situation i mentioned. Some people are turned off by the cologne it comes in, but you can change the scent that it comes with by going to the “custom additions” link on the Smartmones website. Instant Shine is a great choice for almost any situation, since it gives you a healthy “glowing” look to others and some people feel it increases their own confidence as well! Instant Honesty is great for deep conversations, very good for hanging out with your significant other. I’d say you’ve done a good job picking out your first products, with a possible pass on the TUTH. But it’s all up to you, my good sir! Whatever you choose, have fun with it! Cheers! ---

It’s funny, the only product all the young guys want to reach for is the TUTH. Personally, that’s one of the last ones I’d recommend, because at your age it will very likely be one of the least successful products you could buy. You produce a lot of -none naturally at your age, adding more will very likely push you into the OD zone, which means you will get the _opposite effect_ that you are probably looking for, like ghosting (people ignoring you) or avoiding you. TUTH might help you when you’e alone with your GF, but again, _it might not._ Choices that I believe will lead to a higher success rate\*…\* Instant Shine (yeah, it works great, will make you feel like a star), [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) will also add to your charisma level and make you appear older. It has a sort of James Bond effect, like it’s big brother, A314, but without the downside A314 might very well give you. Instant Openness with get people to open light conversations with you. Instant Honesty does the same thing, only Instant Honesty makes for deeper conversations. All of these products can be used together, but when you start out just test the products one at a time until you get a good understanding of what they do. You can buy all these products in Togo size to test them out to see what fits best, they are smaller, but also cheaper. Good luck here! ---

lol, im actually leaning towards the instant shine now. it seems that alot more people have gotten good effects with that one. and as a first time user. i want that good effect 🙂. for the useage of the products ; would you say that just one spray or two is enough. how many is to much so i dont OD it ---

However, i would start yourself off at 2 sprays of 1x strength Instant Shine, one on each side of the neck. That’s a spot that people find has great affect on themselves, as well as on people in close proximity. See how that makes you feel, and if you can tell any difference in how you OR other react around you, then try one more spray each time if it doesnt, till you find that sweet spot. But remember, these pheromones were primarily designed to affect others, so keep a look out for that as well. ---

🙂 that sounds good. do you think that i should use a different collogne to spray over it ? i read that on some forum or somewere. i have the jake hollister cologne and the vurt pacsun cologne ---

Well now, thats entirely up to you. Remember that the effects of pheromones arent going to be “covered up” by throwing some cologne over them. If they were, Ammo wouldnt work at all. Most people find that after they let [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) settle down (15-20) they cant smell it much, if at all, and most seem to find it a pleasant scent. But try it out and if you arent a fan, throw a spray of your own scent over it! ---

the certificate Hi, i posted a previous thread, with all the info and stuff and i was wondering when i get the certificate. I’m waiting on ordering anything until i get the certificate so that i can save some money, it only makes sence. so if anyone could get back to me i would appreciate it. 🙂 ---

Hello Josh Welcome to Pherotalk 🙂 I agree with Robbie, I think Ishine and IG will be great for you to start with. If you cant swing IG because it only comes in a 30ML then take a look at AMMO. The to-go size is great for trying things out and exploring the possibilities. If you have any questions or need help let me know. Oh and I merged your two intro posts into one.
