Then you will say to yourself “I can pull anything off!”. I don’t go that far and do something that extreme, but I do try to dress out of my comfort zone. Just with the clothes I prefer to wear, I find it hard to “pull off” because I feel the hat clashes with the clothes. I guess for me, I can’t “pull it off” because I don’t have any clothes I would wear with a fedora. Or at least, that’s how I feel. Although, it does depend a lot on the fedora. Maybe I just need to find the right one… ---

Let’s face it, when most of us wear hats we think we looked smacked. There’s a very cool black dude who’s the door man at one of the jazz clubs Wolf and I go to in Philly. He’s quite the fashion plate… standing at the door wearing a white collared shirt and vest (love the vest!) …with a brass handled walking stick, his fedora tilted at the perfect rakish angle…a smile on his face like he’s your friend and has been expecting you. His charming personality caps off his look just right. The man is together. I think the hat’s a great tool too. It’s a nice opener, makes it easy for girls to approach. As for me, I’ma tam/beret kinda gal…love them in winter. Today that guy called me a virgin who will never touch a woman. Lol. I got him to shut up though. 🙂 I’m going to buy that second fedora as soon as money permits. I need to get a better job! To buy hats! ---
