We have had difficulty conceiving. Before we venture into hormone treatments, does anyone know if phermones can have any bearing upon female fertility?

Thanks,
John

Jeez, John that is a good question. I cant say I know the anwser and as there are no real studies that I know of testing mone use and fertility I dont know if any of us can give you a definate anwser.

I can give you my opinion and observations though.

Jasmin is a avid user of mones of course and is exposed to them in the lab all the time.

I think if anything they would increase the chance of getting preggers as opposed to hindering it. Not saying they can fix a fertility problem but some will increase arousal and copulins will increase your Testosterone by 130% from baseline in some cases and as I recall is inportant to sexual functioning.

I do know that spraying mones on you will not make them enter your blood stream and copulins is the only one that has been proven to effect hormone levels.

Sorry I couldnt give you more info on this prehaps when Jazzy Jas stops by she can tell you more.

Tiahs

Hi John! I’m not a doctor but there’re few possibilities of difficulty in conceiving such as female reproductive organ disorder, male sperm count, life style, stress, past history of abortion, etc.

When I was married we didn’t have child for 4 years, my ex-wife is a nurse, so she suggested that we go for check-up. I have to give sample of sperm for lab to analyze which is called “sperm count”. Sometimes the problem might lies on men too. It turns out that the sperm count was excellent and the doctor gave some fertility pills to my ex, and soon later she was pregnant.🙂 Personally, I’m not very sure if [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) can do this, my advice to you and your wife is, go and see the doctor.🙂

Good luck to both of you.

Mohammed,
Thanks for your thoughts. We’ve both been throughly checked out by doctors, and were working with a reproductive services specialist until he recommended that Nina take a drug called chlomid. We found the risks associated with chlomid to be unacceptable.

Our problem is that Nina is not ovulating. She has a regular period, but she does not release an egg. If we pursue an intervention with western medicine, it will be hormone therapy. It is plausible that an imbalance in hormones is failing to trigger an egg release.

Nina is the model of good health. She eats healthily, has no health vices, and practices and teaches yoga.

Because our problem may be rooted in hormones and based upon Tisha’s thoughts below, I’m interested to see if the use of pheromones may alter Nina’s hormone balance in a positive way.

Thanks,
John

Hi John,

I remember JV Kohl talking about androstenone causing a spike in luteinizing hormone (triggering ovulation) and did a search - here are the results. The 2nd search result has an especially clear statement on this. Studies are cited in some of the posts.

EDIT: I was wrong about it being androstenone, it’s **androstenol** - thanks nbully!

Carrie,
That is extremely interesting! 🙂
Thank you VERY much for posting the search results. I’ll look into this in more detail this evening.

By the way, nice choice for your avatar! Mary Cassatt is a personal favorite!

Guys, is there any truth to orgasm leading to higher chance of conceiving??😕 I remember reading that somewhere.😃 Androstenone (and maybe copulins)use definitely leads to stronger orgasms during sex for both male and female.

Many users have reported positive mood changes, improved body image (some also report weight loss, _now who woulda thunk that??_) and enhanced social interactions and as a result **general improvement in health from prudent pheromone use**. Hormonal balance and health improvement are obviously intimately related. So I would say it will help.

But remember _prudent_ use! Don’t use anything that makes you tired, argumentative, sad, contemplative etc. (like Androstenone during her periods, when she has a higher chance of abreacting to it, use A1 during that time; but definitely try Androstenone during the ovulation phase).

All happy shiny pheromones would probably help, like IShine, Liquid Sunshine series, IO etc. Obviously this is no medical advice, but is only based on the feeling that only good things can happen when both of you are happy and in your elements! Good luck!🙂

Carrie, shouldn’t that be Androstenol instead of Androstenone.🙂 JVKohl and Androstenone don’t see face to face you know.😉

One other way to do this…

Get an IV (just steal one from a hospital or something, should not be too hard 😛 ) and pump some cops and TUTH in the bag directly into the blood stream.

You’re most welcome.🙂

I don’t know if you have heard about a kind of herb called Tribulus Terrestris, it treats infertility in women and other reproductive disorders. Perhaps you can ask your doctors about this alternative medicine and see what they have to say about this.🙂

Good luck to you.🙂

[Clomid - Clomiphene Citrate - Fertility Drugs and Medications](http://infertility.about.com/cs/clomi1/a/Clomid.htm)

“Clomid influences the way that the four hormones required for ovulation, GnRH, FSH, LH and estradiol, relate and interrelate. While we do not completely understand the mechanisms by which this drug works, in essence it appears that Clomid fools the body into believing that the estrogen level is low. This altered feedback information causes the hypothalamus (an area of the brain) to make and release more gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) which in turn causes the pituitary to make and release more FSH and LH. More follicle stimulating hormone and more luteinizing hormone should result in the release of one or more mature eggs - ovulation.”

[Shinohara K, Morofushi M, Funabashi T, Mitsushima D, Kimura F.](http://www.pheromonetalk.com/pubmed/10944511?ordinalpos=2&itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum)
Effects of 5alpha-androst-16-en-3alpha-ol on the pulsatile secretion of luteinizing hormone in human females.Chem Senses. 2000 Aug;25(4):465-7.

## “The LH and T response to olfactory/pheromonal input has been repeatedly indicated or reported in findings from non-human animal studies and from human studies. In mammals, short-term exposure of males to females is linked to a T increase in men, as well as in rats, mice, rabbits, bulls, rams, and monkeys. The T increase in non-human mammals is believed to be due to the effect of pheromonal conditioning of an LH response that precedes the T increase (Graham & Desjardins, 1980). (An ovulatory phase, LH-facilitated, E2 and T response to pheromones is indicated but less well-detailed due to its cyclic nature in females.)” (Kohl, 2007, p. 325-326)

The focus of Kohl (2007) was on the male hormone response. There is some literature on the entrainment of cyclic hormonal changes that I’ve referenced elsewhere. Pheromones from a woman alter her partner’s testosterone level, which alters her estradiol level --via his pheromones–as it increases. If a sufficient level of estradiol is acheived for approximately 72 hours, the ovulatory LH surge is accompanied by the release of an egg for potential fertilization at the same time the woman’s testosterone level peaks, and her pheromones maximize her partner’s testosterone level. In rhesus monkeys this allows for properly timed reproductive sexual behavior.

John’s question indicates that he must be more aware than most people about the likely involvement of pheromones. It is unfortunate that I cannot better advise without being in danger of “practicing medicine without a license.” I can, however, attempt to answer “specific” questions, and probably provide the citations.

I’d like to begin by thanking you for bringing your expertise to the table.

Pheromones are a new subject for me, so I’m still getting oriented to this fascinating world of knowledge.

I’m piecing together this scenario: If we were to introduce pheromones into our environment at the proper times during the menstrual cycle, we could initiate a hormonal chain reaction that may create better conditions for ovulation.

Here are my questions:

1. What pheromones should we consider? (Androstenol? A, B or both?)
2. Who should use them: Nina or me, or both of us?
3. How should we time them relative to anticipated ovulation? (We have an ovulation watch that predicts ovulation 3 days ahead by monitoring skin secretions.)

Thanks,
John

There would be no danger if you suggested a manner in which pheromone enthusiasts such as John and his wife might set up their own informal study of pheromones regarding this subject. 🙄 🆒 🙄
