This is interesting, as I have said before I feel introverted but people crack up when I say that to the point I wonder if I’m fooling myself. But I think my extroversion is learned and defensive, not natural and expressive. And being introverted doesn’t necessarily mean being shy or frightened. I hope it doesn’t mean too self-absorbed, either, lol.
It really strikes me how they describe the childhood experience (yes I had an imaginary friend or so they say, just because no one else could see him doesn’t make him imaginary, does it? Now I can’t see him either and I wish I had him back!) living in a fantasy world and getting made fun of (get your head out of the clouds, stop reading those books, go outside and play) etc. To this day I resent the way the “real” world intrudes on and interrupts my inner fantasy world, lol - but then again, it can get lonely in here after a while.
Back to pheros - I wonder if we perceive the greatest SELF-effects with pheros that “shift” our dominant expression - which would explain why I “notice” so much difference with the [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/), TAA, other things that encourage and invite shiny extroversion. Could be why I always feel a need to back off that kind of stuff after a bit too - I enjoy it but it makes me feel tired and depleted in excess, like flexing underused muscles. That’s the stuff I feel like I OD on and need a break from after a while, although it is great good fun to explore. I must want to go there because I have always seemed to choose jobs and friends that FORCE extroversion. It’s all about seeking balance, I guess.

OK I’m going to try P79 and A314 . Do you think spaceland is good for me too.

Or should I add some Androste **none** ,cause many of my friends and colleague always see me as a very soft person and constantly encourages me to be more aggressive towards others

spaceland is a souped up version of IO, and my personal opinion is that until you are aclimated to alot of anol, spaceland may be distracting in its strength for everyday use.

IO also has betanol in it, which may be just the slight tweak to steer the gabby away from frivilous.

i suggested Ammo because it has 'none in it, in a perfect amount.
it also has shiny mones in it, so you have the benefit of both worlds.

whatever you order, you’ll have fun with;
but when your on a mission to create a desired effect, starting out moderately wastes less time.🙂

I am sure it gives you an idea though. Something to keep in mind, the preference scores may not turn out to be the same if the test is taken at different sources.

Heres another.140 some odd questions seems to be more accurate in general with me anyway.

I’m glad you resurrected this thread, because I hadn’t seen it, and personality tests are always entertaining. This variant of Meyers-Briggs says I am ENTP; strongly N (62%). I’ve taken the Meyers-Briggs several times in my life, and this result is consistent with my previous tests, but this is actually the lowest N-score I’ve ever had. The first time I took it, about 15 years ago, I scored 99% iNtuition! 😮

I get a kick out of the [Marina Heiss ENTP Profile](http://typelogic.com/entp.html). It says ENTP’s “generally love to argue… and enjoy playing devil’s advocate.” How apropos for a lawyer…

But the truly fascinating test, that I haven’t seen before, is that [Enneagram Test](http://similarminds.com/test.html).

Enneagram Test Results
Type 1 Perfectionism |||| 14%
Type 2 Helpfulness |||||||||||| 46%
Type 3 Image Focus |||||||||||||||||||| 90%
Type 4 Hypersensitivity |||||||||||| 50%

Type 6 Anxiety |||||||||||| 42%
Type 7 Adventurousness |||||||||||||| 54%
Type 8 Aggressiveness |||||| 26%
Type 9 Calmness |||||||||||||||||||| 86%

Your main type is 3. You “must be impressive and attractive to be happy.” Your variant is sexual (“assertive, intense”).

I don’t even know what to think about that… Sounds fun. 🆒

This seems to suggest that A314 would make me happy. Although, there’s a question of whether it would be better to augment the lower-scoring characteristics, such as Aggressiveness or Perfectionism. I can be blasé at times. We’ll see.

bumping this thread - with my post

I love to read threads like this, now i’m going to go check out all **calian’s (ESTJ)** posts since **my wife is also an ESTJ**. Hope to get some more insight on mones and the ESTJ animal, since I try to use mones “COVERTLY” since she hates to think that I’m messing with her or trying to “CONTROL” her. So I don’t really ask my wife things like, “So honey, how do you feel when I combine the A314+P79+[P83](https://a314.com/product/p83/)+ANOL like in Tacitus ASD mix?”

We all know I’m just looking for some action, right?

Hahahaha

I love ExTJ women. I’m an ENFP with brains and they tend to be most affected by mones.

Spoken with experience with some noticeable hits.

Do you mean ENFPs are most effected by mones?

Do you think they have a preference? (Social, sexual, etc.)

I’m INTJ and I’m interested in ENFP women. 🙂

I was sayíng that ExTJ women are most affected by mones.

But ENFP women are easy to get if you can get up and talk to them with a smile.

Visit [personalitycafe.com](http://personalitycafe.com) and you can read up on things they like.

I’ve found through my experiments that mones tend to play off of intuition.

Mostly that, “he’s got a good guy” vibe.

And that’s what leaves a lasting impression.

First off, I’d like to preface this post with a little biographical info. I’m the type of person that not only scores well on standardized tests, but I analyze test questions by their intended divisiveness. Obviously MBTI tests don’t have a ‘score’ in line with the SATs or A levels, but I still do it - I can’t help it. I see the bias in testing questions unconsciously. There are no right or wrong answers on an MBTI test, but all the same, I read and reread the questions with double negatives to make sure I’m not compromising my results.

That said, I think that MBTI tests probably could help in determining which [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/) would be most useful to the average user. The catch is to take the test more than once, and from more than one source.

So! From the [HumanMetrics test](http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes1.htm) my scores are thus:
Your Type is
**ENTP**
Extraverted Intuitive Thinking Perceiving
Strength of the preferences %
11 75 50 11

slightly expressed extravert
distinctively expressed intuitive personality
moderately expressed thinking personality
slightly expressed perceiving personality

The humanmetrics test had questions which I did not agree or disagree with, although I understood the intent of the questions. I would say the result was accurate, but the percentages were probably not at all, especially the perceiving percentage. The test is hindered by the simple yes/no axiom.

After that, I also took the [SimilarMinds Jung-Enneagram](http://similarminds.com/embj.html), a significantly longer test, with the following results:

ENTP
Extroverted (E) 50% Introverted (I) 50%
Intuitive (N) 70.97% Sensing (S) 29.03%
Thinking (T) 77.42% Feeling (F) 22.58%
Perceiving (P) 67.74% Judging (J) 32.26%

ENTP - “Inventor”. Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative. 3.2% of the total population.

Enneagram portion:
Type 1 Perfectionism |||||||||| 36%
Type 2 Helpfulness |||||||||||||| 56%
Type 3 Image Awareness |||||||||||| 46%
Type 4 Individuality |||||||||||||||||| 73%
Type 5 Rationality |||||||||||||||||| 76%
Type 6 Anxiety |||||||||||| 46%
Type 7 Adventurousness |||||||||||| 46%
Type 8 Aggressiveness |||||||||||||| 56%
Type 9 Calmness |||||||||||||||| 63%
Perceiving (P) 67.74% Judging (J) 32.26%

type | score | type behavior motivation
5 | 23 I must be logical and objective to be happy.
4 | 22 I must be unique/different to be happy.
9 | 19 I must maintian a peaceful and easygoing environment to be happy.
2 | 17 I must be helpful and caring to be happy.
8 | 17 I must be strong and in control to be happy.

This test gave the same result (with a much more accurate percentage I’d say) especially concerning P/J. Also, the enneagram portion was interesting, I’ve never seen that type of breakdown before.

If I were to recommend any one test to others, it would have to be the similar minds test.

Wow… How weird. I had recieved an email today about personality types, so I decided to give it a go. Turns out I’m a ENTP. Interesting stuff. Even more interesting was after I’d finished reading it I refesh the pherotalks forums and here is a thread talking about something I took 5 minutes ago. Maybe this is the power of Attraction at work? Maybe life is just weird sometimes.

I’m highly into personality theory and have found it far more helpful for self development and relating to others than anything else available.

Firstly, online tests probably will give you an incorrect result take a look at the following video [Personality Tests are WRONG! - YouTube](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSNTdSSLauQ)

As an INTP myself I originally came up ESTP on online tests, this is before I understood the theory in its entirety and was able to work out that the reason I was testing wrong was because I was investing a lot of effort into a function called Extraverted feeling at the time, which is actually something INTPs can do to become more well rounded.

As for pheromones, I do think it plays a part, for example, my personality is prone to coming across as “aloof” to others, so I can gauge my pheromones accordingly.
