# Need Some Advice on Combining Pheromones with Designer Fragrances

Hi how’s it going,

I ordered Instant Shine, Instant Honesty, and [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/). I’m 23 and my plan is to use two sprays of each pheromone, wait for them to dry, and then cover them with a popular fragrance like Acqua Di Gio or Bleu De Chanel.

My question is, these pheromones have nice scents by themselves. Will it interfere with my fragrances and create a mess of a smell? I’m not an expert at all on the exact “notes” of fragrances, I just buy whats recommended to me and what smells good.

Am I better off buying unscented fragrances comparable to IO, IH and IS? Then layering with a nice designer cologne? Thanks

All those come in 6% [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) fragrance, which settles very light after 30 mins or so and is easily covered by most good colognes or complements most lighter ones nicely. Scents can either be layered with the pheros or applied nearby - try it either way and see what works for you best.

Leave-off unscented unless you fancy getting in-to mixing-up our own scent/diffusion packages. In most cases there is no advantage and is little more than a chore.
