I knew you aren’t employed by AD and that you do all that you do on the forum (which I know is _ALOT_) just because you enjoy it and want to help us all. I’m truly sorry if I offended you…Looking at my comment I can see how it would come across as snotty, but it was actually meant as a compliment (albeit a badly worded one) :o I did not mean it to sound like I was surprised you’re “just a postal worker”, not do I judge anyone else who is. To me you’ve always been the phero Goddess who knows just about all there is to know about phero’s and that I admire and look up to alot…and while I know you’re not working for the forum I never actually thought about what you do do as a “day job”. ---

You didnt think I was a moderator for a living although I have worked on quite a few other forums ? I mean the perks are great and I get to be involved with the store and research closely. Back in the day when I delivered the mail I seem to recall a number of those “plain brown wrapper” items going to certain customer’s mailboxes… Which of course it was our duty to check out… (The “show us your tits” pages in Easy Rider [motorcycle] magazine comes to mind…) Of course those deliveries to the funeral home were always a bit creepy… And I pitied the poor rural route carrier the day either the live chicks (peep peep peep peep peep peeep) or live bees (ouch ouch ouch ouch) arrived. 😛 ---

Wow…first time reading this thread…I needed a good laugh this morning…allergy season strikes with a vengeance…but now I really can’t breathe! I’ve had a couple of hits from the neg rep fairy, and in the end, they did me a favor! As a result of people charging to my defense (the wonderful Tish included), my rep went up three points. I thought you couldn’t leave a neg rep without leaving a comment? Did they just put spaces or what? I seriously believe they need to come out with a “Women of the USPS” calendar…I mean, c’mon, they have firemen calendars, and I’ve seen some beautiful women delivering the mail! ---

I only had one when I was doing a regular route and it was going to the departed’s wife. Fortunately I had a Jeep so I made a special stop rather than carry him in the bag… (park and loop route as they called it). And fortunately she was home. Having to leave an “attempted delivery” notice would have conjured up some odd thoughts (and an urn is not something to just leave between the doors…). Come to think of it he would have fit inside the mailbox anyway (was in a mobile home park and they used rural type boxes). And that thought conjurs up some odd comments/thoughts… (a steel “burial vault” with a little red flag on the side… hmmmm). Sorry… morbid humor. - ---
