My package has just arrived. Thanks to Simon for the package and all the samples. I’m wondering if anyone else has tried the new Musk Ghazelle. And if anyone can compare it to the old Musk Ghazelle. I just put it on, so I’ll post a full review when its run its course. Right now I’m experiencing the most potent and animalic musk I’ve ever experienced. Fifteen minutes into it, it smells like I was at a bonfire the night before mixed with freshly lit pipe tobacco and a hint of brand new leather. Very smoky, very woody and oily. The girl I’m sitting with says that its extremely masculine and powerful, and that it turns her on. And I believe her, because she’s not wearing any clothes. 🙂 Thats my cue. Will update later. ---

:::update::: sex was great. I smell like a slutty animal. I definitely put too much on. I used the entire applicator wand, because i wanted to really pick out all the notes. One tiny dot on the skin is enough. My friend of mine (female) came to pick up my other friend that has been staying with me. She walked into my room and said a few things: “It smells like a sweaty orgy in the forest” “It smells like I had sex all night and I woke up surrounded by sweaty sex laundry” “It smells like sex in the new york subway station” “smells like animal sex” So the theme to this musk so far is dirty, animalistic sex. hmm… ---

This is so hard to describe, it smells dirty. like an animal in a dirty cage, or a tiger who has been chasing his latest meal on a hot dusty day and has got his coat dusty/dirty. There’s a VERY light sweetness to it, but the animal in Musk Ghazelle overpowers it. Really, hard to describe but I will hopefully grow to like it. It is liked by many, so there _must_ be something to this dirty animal! ---

well, I’ve read that the new MG is very different from its predecessor. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what Denec reports. As far as I know, he and Simon are the only ones on the forum who have tried the original. Damn, why’d they stop making it, if people are so head-over-heels in love with it? Last night I showered and washed off the wand-full of “Eau De Petting Zoo Orgy”. Then I applied the right amount of MG to my mix. I went to a dinner party and people said I smelled amazing. 1 speck (literally just a dot from the tip) of MG. 1 drop of Agar Musk Black (currently my favorite scent) 5 drops of bergamot oil. Oh, and Simon, you’re right. the Agar Indian Red Musk smells almost identical to the new MG. ---

its from Aveda’s Single Notes line, which are all diluted in carriers and safe to wear as is. My sister used to work there and she’d pick me up free stuff all the time. This bottle is almost out. The thing I love about bergamot is that it works wonders as a natural deodorant, its a natural anti-depressant, and needless to say it smells like Earl Grey. I’m always in a good mood when I wear it. ---

Agarscents Bazaar sells Agar Musk Black with Cambodian Oudh on their website. Its my favorite thing to wear as of now. Smells slightly animalic, but not fecal, and the dry-down smells like sweet, smokey incense, with notes of vanilla and licorice. One girl in particular always grabs my forearm and puts it up to her nose and takes a deep whiff. Oh, and Aveda sells single note scented oils that you can wear as is, instead of making a perfume out of them and waiting 4 - 6 weeks for the results. I’m looking into buying their vanilla oil to combine it with the bergamot and the musk to create a mix that I’ll dub “Earl Grey Creme Musk” if it works out, I’ll buy the actual essential oils and attempt to make my own cologne. Of course, I’ll need a middle note or two to complete it. ---

I would really like to try some of these scents, but after visitng the websites (agarscent, etc), the words “fecal” and “barnyard” tend to deter me a little. I love rich dark mysterious scents (not too much into the light and floral girly stuff, I do not care for Aquolina Pink Sugar), but the idea of fecal fragrances is not inspiring. I am afraid to spend money on something that might smell downright nasty. Maybe someone could send me a small sample, and I could send something in return, like a To-Go of pheros, or some such thing. ---

Well, trust me kitty. Musk Ghazelle smells like pony (or what beastiality sex might smell like LMAO) so use it at your own risk. Its inter-species erotica! (Clerks 2 reference) If only MG didn’t smell like ass, I’d wear it a lot, I love the undertones of it. The leather, smoke, and subtle sweetness of it is great. its like… “hey, whats this pooping donkey doing at the gentlemen’s club meeting?” Kitty, Agar Musk Black is totally rich, dark and mysterious. There’s no trace of sweat, feces, urine, or anything like that. There’s something animalic in there that I can’t quite describe, but its not unpleasant whatsoever. its intoxicating and addicting. It primarily smells like incense smoke (but without a hippie vibe), licorice, and bourbon vanilla. Its a big hit among the ladies, especially the ones who are tired of their men smelling unoriginal and boring. Yet I can totally see a woman wearing this, and I would probably dig my nose into her neck and go to town. ---

I have the Agar Musk Black Attar from Agarscents and is my fav. also. I think it also helps the phero’s out because they are looking and smelling that scent. I gave one of my employees a dash to see what it smells like on someone and I picked the scent from a good 6-7 feet it was like walking into a closed room. The scent is there or not at all kind of thing. ---
