Those names are really confusing to a newbie like me, and the descriptions don’t always tell you much about how they really smell.

The words used to describe this give me absolutely no idea about what it must smell like.

So, the one you bought, is it absolutely delicious? No feces? Would these also be okay for me, and not too overpoweringly male?

You silly kitty you, he hasn’t gotten them yet to smell them and let ya know. It’s kinda like Musk Ghazelle… you can hear someone tell you it smells like red indian deer musk, but that means nothing to you until you get to smell it yourself. If i read right, he ordered them last night, so it’ll be at least a week til he gets the chance to smell it. I’ll be interested in what you think of them, though, Revivia. Make sure to post your thoughts!

Haha, MFG is correct about not having received my product yet. I only purchased that product just last night. 😃 I will definately post a review on it once I get it though 😉. I have purchased 2 products, which I listed earlier, and I will be getting samples as well. I will post a review on everything I get. 😃

Meh, my Musk Ghazelle experience ruined the possibility of having any hope for these other “mysterious” scents actually smell good. I mean I’m sure some do, but eh… I will make sure to buy samples first! I mean it just sucks that some sample packs can be expensive as it is, so that sucks. Although the White Ambergris does sound good and it is considered oceanic instead of “barnyard.” So that one is still up in the air, just so expensive. Got a little one to feed ha, ha. Sucks!

That’s why you need to start with your own cologne creation rev! Heck, I need to start the ball rolling and get more supplies as well, but [pheromones](https://a314.com/) keep me from wasting my money on that! Ah, a road block everywhere! But look at it this way, you’ll be able to make your own custom/unique blends and have them smell how _you_ want them too! Possibly sell them too! Perfumers Apprentice sells Ambergris, but I’m sure it’s synthetic. However, a good thing to play with and add to scents.

That’s true Mikoto. I have a huge passion and hobby in this field and want to see where things might lead careerwise in this industry 😉. If it sounds too good to be true, you can bet your money it IS fake/synthetic. I am majoring in business administration/management and probably going to minor in international business, so the opportunities are unlimited for any industry as long as you have the mindset and passion for it. Never give up, never take no or “you can’t do it” for an answer, just because people don’t have faith in you or you think the odds might be stacked against you. Realize your dreams, become the best person you can be, and live life to the fullest. That’s the way I look at life.

Yes, so that’s why when you start creating scents and your first one is claimed as a crappy scent you can then say “hey, it’s a learning process damn it!” 🙂

For sure. 🙂 Everything in life is a learning process. Your first gf, your first heart break, your first kiss, your first rejection, and yes our first crappy scent we will both make 😛. I try my best to look at life from the perspective of the glass being half full. You tend to feel better about yourself and others, situations aren’t as bad, and when they are good, it’s really good, plus you live longer because you aren’t depressed lol, which does negative things to your body and causes mental health issues.

Edit: sorry for temporarily hijacking the thread. Lets talk about musk, oud, and Ajmal Musk Ghazelle now 😃 I sure can’t wait for mine. 🙂

Various sandalwood oils and agarwood attars. Also tried a number of his less expensive attars of various types. Probably I should keep better records.

I am considering buying various oud, ambergis, civet musk and deer musk from Ham\_Firl. Have you tried his ambergris, civet, or deer musk? I think some of his ambergis seem too cheap to be authentic, but it might just be me.
