Hi, everybody~ I’m from Oslo. I discovered the site recently, and it drew my interest greatly, so I ordered IO 5ml and TUTH 30ml.

I have yet to learn to distinguish between everyday occurrences and so-called “hits”, but I do notice that I’ve had a couple of hearty conversations while wearing IO. And what surprised me was that I was never known to engage in conversations for that long; it’s quite likely that IO plays a part in lifting my mood in addition to affecting other people, in which case I have no objections to that. It also gives a very mild floral scent, which I like greatly because it doesn’t tickle my nostrils like a lot of cosmetic fragrances. I haven’t tried out TUTH extensively though.

So anyway: I’m quite glad I came across this site, and many thanks for all the interesting information. I honestly can’t wait to see where this new hobby will take me!

It’s a fantastic hobby! One that will keep you engaged and learning…

If you don’t mind me asking, how did you find the site? Have you had any previous experience using [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/)? What’re your goals for using them?

IO is a great first-time buy, as it offers plenty of opportunity to experience some easy and obvious hits. I think you’ve already discovered that. Yes, it can have some self effects and probably got you talking a little more than usual. More than that, just by wearing it you likely shifted your expectation a little and expected some conversation, so you were probably more open to the idea than usual.

As you may have already discovered, IO invites a lot of “open” and lighthearted conversation. It gets people talking about anything and everything, and it’ll be up to you to try and guide the conversation where you want it to go.

TUTH. Be careful with this one my friend. It’s very aggressive, and at your age can easily be overdone. If you’re out in an environment that clearly has a sexual vibe to it (late night clubs, intimate dates) then you can get away with a heavier dose, otherwise you risk being perceived as too forward and too aggressive and you’ll just scare all the ladies off.

The important thing to do is test! Test and document. Start with one spray of one product, and go out and mingle. Write down any hits and your impressions on how the encounters went. Do this for a week, then you try two sprays and so on…

Enjoy, and browse the site. There’s more info on here than you could read in a month, and plenty of great people to offer help!

Hello! The reason I started to have interest in pheromones is that, while I have known for a long time about their existence as part of many species’ biology, I’ve been under the impression that humans don’t have a keen enough sense of smell for them to be affected in a noticeable manner. On the other hand, the idea of applying the olfactory system (?) to social interactions - in a manner similar to visual cues - is a rather intriguing idea, so I figured I’ll give it a shot - and if it didn’t work out, not a big loss, I thought. And you know the rest. (My interest in the sense of smell started within the past couple of months since I started making different kinds of food at home, and started being able to tell small differences in the aroma of different ingredients.)

I see what you mean with the use of TUTH. It smells quite “raw” - and, dare I even say, “wild” - compared to IO, which is why I haven’t used it more than one small spray at a time so far. In retrospect, a big bottle of IO and a small one of TUTH might have suited me better instead, but oh well.

Anyhow, thanks for the welcome! Now I’m even more assured that I’m gonna enjoy this community.
