Anyone tried these? It was offered free on basenotes few months back by LesNez. 3 bottles of 2.5 ml colognes. I got samples of “ **The Unicorn Spell** ]([http://www.lesnez.com/(EmptyReference!)](http://www.lesnez.com/(EmptyReference!)))”, " **Let me Play the Lion"** and **L’Antimatière.** **L’Antimatière** bottle was totally trashed in mail. Anyway the reports on it have been less than encouraging on basenotes. Other scents are okay and they have a certain unique bitter smell. Will not buy the full bottle for the scent but… The reason I started this thread is because I have been noticing certain standard pheromonal reactions from “The Unicorn Spell” every time I have used it. **Plenty** of respect and attraction signals with 1-2 sprays in the morning. Lasts for about 6-8 hrs. I wanted to find out if anyone else is noticing something pheromonal about this cologne. ---

Can you add more info to this “plenty of respect and attraction” you are you noticing from ‘The Unicorn Spell’? Is it really powerfull? Have you tried more than 2 sprays? I have noticed that they don’t disclose all their fragrance notes so there might be something natural ‘pheromonal’ (like say a floral Musk) in there. Visionary ---

The consistency however is really striking. Some reactions of notice were: Female store clerk (age around 20) in GNC won’t leave my side and kept asking inane question. Another store clerk in a different store almost ran to the counter to help me check out. When I was proctoring an exam, for my advisor, almost all the girl students were making eye contact and won’t break it off, kind of inappropriate for those circumstances. Professors in my school greeting me more enthusiastically and trying to extend conversation! One female professor (we don’t know each other) did a sharp head turn and maintained extended eye contact. Girls in elevator started acting goofy and tried to start a conversation. Usually I just go by my feel. The unicorn spell feels to me like light respect and light attraction. I haven’t tried it in clubs, but it has so far given me interesting reactions during daytime. I had 2.5 ml and I intend to extend it’s test for as long as I can. One spray seems to be enough. The smell is herbal (somewhat like IFM herbal components, not A1, as I can’t smell A1). ---

This sounds very interesting… I just ordered the 3 LesNez samples and a sample of Amouage Dia for men too from and a sample of Amouage Dia for men too from a german store [Ausliebezumduft](http://www.ausliebezumduft.de) How come it gives [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/)-like results, I wonder? ---

Searching for reviews I found this page [MakeupAlley - Product Reviews -Fragrances - Reviews by ayala](http://makeupalley.com/product/userreviews.asp/id=123949) The fragrance Anyas Garden Pan (by Anya) apparently contains “animal [pheromones](https://a314.com/) from tinctured goat hair”… Has anyone tried this one? ---

I’ve tried a sample of Pan - it’s nice, a lavender patchouli goat hair scent, all natural ingredients, a little earthy, a little airy like a meadow. It’s nothing like commercial (synthetic) scents; you have to be prepared for that. It’s subtle and you’d have to apply to hair or fabric if you want it to last very long. ---

Interesting.. Well I did spray a very little bit of Unicorn Spell, just to see what it smells like. It’s very unusual for sure. The 1/2 spray I sprayed was quite strong, I felt, so I’ll go with just 1 spray I think tonight. ---

So I wore it a couple of times. I didn’t have too many ‘targets’ for attraction where I went, but I did get respect signals from two persons. One was a man who kept talking to me asking my advice and a woman ( I don’t know her! ) who had seen me a few days ago asking me for advice about something she had seen (when she had seen me)… (so the latter thing was a bit strange but oh well…) So respect signals were there, we’ll see about the attraction in the next few days. I like the smell of Unicorn Spell, so far I only use 1 spray on a single wrist. ---

It seems to work for me better. On clothes or on skin it doesn’t seem to matter so much. ---

Not too many targets but I did get close to one girl at a point to see if there would be any reaction. I didn’t see any particular results though. I’m not giving up though… ---

This evening I used the unicorn spell again, same application as before - 2 sprays to the chest. The only effect I saw tonight, was a guy doing a DIHL… weird, but true. ---

Can you conclusively say anything yet if you feel The Unicorn Spell does contain any pheromones or atleast triggers pheromone like responses. I wonder which other colognes have used pheromone successfully. Most people wearing colognes typically are not looking for pheromone reactions and when someone says they smell good they simply take it at face value, however pheromone users generally take that as sign of some interest and most times will chalk it up as a pheromone reaction. It’s hard to tell one from the other. For example there is a cologne which is reputed at basenotes to be the one which garners a lot of compliments from the ladies. There are reports on basenotes about kissing, biting the application point and such. Search for “Rive Gauche by YSL”. Very cheap (price-wise), smells like a hair-cutting saloon, or old Brut type fragrance (although slightly more refined). But the reports on Basenotes are crazy. The smell is very strong too as if it’s trying to hide some odor. I get headache wearing just like I do when I wear -none. Another is YSL Kouros, hundreds of post on Basenotes about the urine note in Kouros. I am thinking androstenone. ---

probably a bit late for me to reply to this but i received some samples via [basenotes.net](http://basenotes.net)…i can’t say i was too impressed by any of them…they scent me a very generous sample of each fragrance and i opened them and tried them and didn’t love them..but didn’t hate them either. it just falls into the category of perfumes being a very personal thing i guess… joseph ---

Perfumes, fragrances, colognes, and pheromones are all individual. What “works” for one doesn’t necessarily work for another.
