Well Hi, Um. Im Josh, Im 18 ( I think I entered the date wrong on the signup thing, distracted, TV, Good movie) Im male however I am gay and Im currently in Ohio. Its not the greatest place, but it works. Ive known about [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) for a long time, never tried any, but I know how thwy work and things along those lines, and I thought, maybe try some! Which led me to this site.

My question is this, Ive met a great guy, and I like him alot, Im not sure how he feels about me, though, so Im trying to schedule something where its just me and him, and I want him to be open and honest to me about his feelings. My problem is that Im not the best talker around, and starting a conversation like this isnt my strong point, which probably stems from my fear of making people feel awkward. So, Is there anything out there that will help move this undoubtedly awkward conversation along?

Thanks in Advance,
Josh

Hi & Welcome Josh!

Instant openness & honesty are both helpful for conversation. I use openness to break through some of my own barriers and have found honesty to be very effective to encourage a better connection while speaking with others.

You can edit your profile by clicking UserCP in the top left corner if you haven’t found that yet.

Enjoy!

Welcome Josh!

As Inkling already suggested, [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) or Instant Honesty could help with your conversations. I’ve experienced that Ammo is a great ‘communication expander’ too, but I don’t know if it works for gay guys - homosexual men might react to an other phero signature than heterosexual women. Maybe someone around here could answer this (or maybe there’s a thread on this board already).

Wishing you luck,
bb

If he’s still getting to know you, it may be a good idea to postpone the use of [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/).. tactitus has reported about this recently…
probably there isn’t a consensus on this yet…

This is the one:

> [@Essence of Man Pig !](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/essence-of-man-pig/5509/3):

> My Superwoman mix is EST, MEO-EST, Androsterone (here it adds a sense of security instead of maleness), TAC, TAH, P74, P83 (just a bit for focus), P86 (integrator), P91, P93 (91 +93 sparingly for a rich burnished glow), P96 (a must, works like gold with the P86)… this has enough balance and complexity that you don’t get the single note, lean on the lever, motormouthy push like you get from beta-nol… note: I deliberately leave out the alpha-androstenol bcause it is the most purely romantic of all…

> [@tacitus](#):

> if you put any sort of Alpha Androstenol in a “first contact” mix, you can get an abreaction… they go into self doubting, self critical mode after, and may actually want MORE distance next time… any social thing that comes on too strong, goes too far too fast, and doesn’t make emotional sense IS going to activate the frontal cortex of the brain which will want to know WHY am I feeling all this warm fuzzy stuff ???

which is why now I avoided using it too, for the same reasons…
I don’t know but my results are better now.. more dates with the same person essentially.. 🙂
later on I will start using it in later dates..

Thankya kindly

His post does read ‘first contact mix’. I understand what is written but still disagree to a point, with out testing which I won’t be doing as a married woman, I can’t really base a debate against it. I’ve never had a negative reaction from alpha androstenol among people who know me well or not, quite the opposite in fact.

In my opinion both are needed in Joshs situation. Instant openness to help with his own shyness and instant honesty to encourage dialogue.

Slow down FastRunner.

I’m out of breath and trying to catch up.😃

There is nothing that says honesty more than some great users, like all the ones that have responded to your thread, disagreeing and voicing there individual opinions. It just drives home the point how much the members and therefore this forum drive the honest production and use of pheromones. It was the main reason I signed on myself.

There are a few gay males that have signed up and posted frequently on the forum about what products they used and what results were garnered. You might want to try a search using “gay male” and be sure to select “show posts” radio button.

I know Androtics offers [Mystery Boy](https://a314.com/product/mystery-boy/), but I honestly have not a clue how it works and what it does. It’s just not my thing. You’ll find us an open bunch accepting of everyone.

Anyway please keep us posted of what you find that works for you.

Your $15 is on its way to your email within 24 hours.

Welcome to the forum.

In my case it was a new person who had seen me one time when I was using a mix with alpha androstenol, after seemingly a good reaction, the next day turns into a negative one (for no reason whatsoever). This happened once or twice for me. It’s a change of mind..

Everyone has to choose and use the right ‘tools’ (pheromones) for the situation…
Instant Honesty yes definitely. [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/), which contains alpha androstenol, I’m not so sure it’s best thing for him to use at this initial stage, perhaps later on. This is just my opinion. Like everyone else, I’m always learning more.
For Josh’s own shyness I suggest trying a hypnosis recording to help overcome it, if he wishes to..
for instance a recording by Steve G. Jones, which are very good:
[Hypnosis CDs and MP3s](http://www.stevegjones.com/general.htm)
