> So is it possible, with the diet/weight thing, that the use of pheromones might by some route, direct or circuituous, help set the metabolism right?

Well, here’s my take on it. This is strictly my opinion based on my _very_ limited knowledge of pheromones and their function/affect in/on our bodies. So, please, take this with a grain of salt 🙂

Pheromones affect us because of the reaction it has on the hypothalamus, which, if I remember what I learned in science class waaaayyyyy back when, is the root (processor and regulator) of our emotions, hormones, behaviors, temperature, blood pressure, metabolism, etc. Sensory inputs, whether they be from sight, hearing, taste, smell (such as pheromones), etc causes the hypothalamus to produces all kinds of horomones and to start sending messages to other parts of our brain & body systems. It “allows” us to “physically” feel what we are “emotionally” experiencing. Kind of like when your really scared (the emotional part), your body will, because of the hypothalamus, start producing adrenaline, your blood pressure rises, you start to sweat, etc. (the physical part).

I believe that pheros trigger responses in the hypothalamus, which in turn, results in physical reactions such as sexual attraction, aggression, feelings of happiness, protectiveness, etc.

So what happens if we are exposed to a certain pheromone, which creates a reaction in our bodies, which in turn, causes another bodily response, which causes another, and so on?

Strictly for illustrative purposes, let’s say that [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) triggers a response in the hypothalamus which results in a physical reaction such as a happy emotional state of being. Maybe, because of this new physical/emotional state, you’re feeling energized and happy and you decide that’s it’s a great day for a walk, so you take a walk and now your body, in response to this new sensory input, starts producing endorphins, which in turn, curbs your appetite for carbs, and so on. So, yes, I believe that pheros (via a direct or circuituous route) can help set the metabolism. Keep in mind that I have absolutely no scientific evidence to back this example and theory up, so if any of you forum users can set me straight on this, by all means, please do so. I’m no scientist!

This is, however, the reason why I truly believe that pheros work…because I’ve had physical reactions to them. And hey, why can’t one of those physical reactions be weight loss, caused either directly or indirectly?

Great post! I’m quite interested in experimenting with some copulin-huffing soon, copulins are said to give a temporary boost to men’s testosterone levels. They’re also said to smell absolutely foul too! But that’s mostly women (who apply copulins) on this forum saying that. It might be one of those weird things where they smell absolutely delicious to the men who smell it, and horrible to the women.

There is a strong correlation between my phero use, slight diminishing of waistline, ability to talk/sing in this deep voice I’ve developed and, most remarkable, some stuff (I don’t know the dermatological term, like burst blood vessels or something?) that I had thought intractable seem to be clearing up in my skin, all of which I am most pleased about. So the ancillary benefits of pheromone use are truly remarkable to me, whatever the mechanism. I must say that there has been very very little that I have found stressful recently, and much that has been amazing, which can only help.

I really hope I can spread a bit of this around with other people, too. Like I have friends who haven’t been well recently. I’m not exactly going to place my hand on their forehead and say “THE POWER OF PHEROMONES COMPELS YOU!!!” or anything like that. But I can see plenty of scope for just going in with a strong frame and giving them a lot of good vibes.

I also have lost weight since I started using pheros, though I’m not sure how much. It’s hard to tell what role they play because of other factors, but my love life has become exciting lately and I have more self-esteem and feel more beautiful than I have in a long time. I’ve started working out regularly which I _never_ used to do and finally stuck with going organic and cutting out junk food.

Yes, this is all part of a whole package it seems, that the pheromones are a catalyst for. Having more and stronger IOIs in the past fortnight than I have in about a year or so is going to have a cascading effect on all sorts of things in my life 🙂 And, just being treated well by people while I am wearing A314 is awesome; I always was kind of good at getting respect in my day-to-day business dealings, but it has increased an awful lot recently.

Can’t say I’ve given up junk food yet though, I suppose I should make the effort really…

Whenever I wear my [Instant Sexiness](https://phera.com/product/instant-sexiness/) 20x couplins (even with a cover), he ALWAYS says “You’re wearing that stinky perfume again. You really like that stuff, huh?” Never fails! BUT I can say that the Instant Sexiness has only “failed” 1 out of 10 times 😃 😃 😃 (and I think that was because of circumstances out of our control 😉 ). So, yes, stinky it may be, but it works! Poor guy…doesn’t have a clue 😃

Not me I have gained weight and lost weight while using mones LOL

I think what it all comes down to is that when you use them you feel better about your self so you subconsciously do things that are better for your health.

Right now tisha’s ass can use a workout or 10 LOL Which reminds me I gotta get back in the gym.

The ‘force’ is growing stronger in all of us. I have mentioned this in couple of other threads. I truely hope that we can all find a way to use our power for honestly constructive, postive purposes. Actually, more than hopeing, I’ve been praying.

“When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace” - Jimi Hendrix

I am very relieved to hear the rest of you talking about the physical changes. Even though it is all for the good, I started to worry because this so abnormal. I started to notice this one piece at a time.
My hair stopped falling out. Been falling out for 25+ years. It just stopped. I don’t mean there is only a few hairs in the drain. There is nada. Zip.
Got my haircut this week. Same woman that has cut my for last 2 years. She asked twice what i was using on my hair because the gray is going away.
I’ve had trouble reading with my old glasses. They were on sale this week so i got a new pair. Same strength and it’s easy to read. Must have just been the scratchs. Riiight.
I’ve got _zits!!!_

It really is a comfort to hear that each of you is experiencing some version of this.

I suppose there is a reasonable context for all this. I began my life over again at the beginning of February. I am 8 months into this new life. i am happy. i feel good. i’m healthy and strong, both physically and mentally. i like who i am. i do not like where i’m at. But i see a future and i have a plan. All the guages are in the green. all systems are go.

And then came pheros. About 7 weeks ago. Basically i only use IGentleman and IShine2x. A little over one week with A314 and IShine4x. Everything else is just a squirt here and there. (I really dislike the cologne in ammo.) I use pheros almost everyday, but my application rates are light compared to the rest of you. The biggest change is that i am consistantly drawn into more social interactions. On some days everything ‘clicks’ and people’s reactions are remarkable. In 1 week with 314, i have been called boss more times than probably the rest of my life put together. And i actually was the boss for a few years!

Except for the fact that i sometimes miss my friend, my wife, there really doesn’t seem to be a downside to any of this.

OoohYahhh, I too am glad that you have shared your remarkable experiences with us, reps!

I have never been a very New Age kind of person, but one thing I have enjoyed doing recently with the pheros, as kind of like a method acting exercise, to get in the right frame, is to imagine a nice big aura of white light surrounding me, a visual aura if you will, to complement the olfactory one. In fact, the accompanying aura of white light is kind of manufacturing itself, I don’t have to remember to do the mental exercise. The more momentum I get with the hits, the more I kind of have a strong feeling that I can reach out with this white-light aura and do something cool.

And of course I had an ideal visual self-image I’d like to aspire to, a reasonable one - I wasn’t expecting to grow 6 inches taller or anything - more of an “optimised” self image.

For a guy pushing 40 like myself, getting DIHLs and increased attention from women (some of them are even half my age!), well that’s got to be good for the old internal hormone levels. Cortisol, things like that. Well, I only know cortisol (and of course, testosterone, estrogen and the major ones) from reading some pop-science book one time. I imagine there are lots of regulatory chemicals that respond to the environment and do things to the human body. I’ll have to Google it all up.

As Tisha says, it is a subconscious process, as these interactions all add up over time to let the subconscious think it has already reached the ideal self image or something. So other parts of the mind-body system will play catch up, I am thinking. If people are treating you like your optimal self-image already, and even better, I guess it gives the green light to the various sophisticated systems to pitch in and adjust the body.

Of course, it is absolutely far-out, like the very reverse of cause and effect. The “effect” of being treated like my ideal self-image (and so much more!) precedes the “cause” - well, we know rationally that a big part of the “cause” is applications of [artificial pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) to the skin. But maybe other parts of the mind-body don’t know that, and so will manufacture another “cause” by helping to sort various physical things out.

“Subconscious” is good, for someone who is lazy like me, haha. Because it is as if someone else is doing the work for me and just giving me maybe a little nudge here and there.

That’s truly the metaphysical morphing into the physical.

It’s like one big cycle with one thing affecting and being affected by another. Pheros are just one more element to this cycle.

I think there is a growing possibility that you are a part of something that is becomeing more and more out of the ordinary.

As we all wander around this commuity, after everyone is done talking shop (pheros and sex, or sex and pheros) we all focus almost exclusively on self improvment. And it’s not just talk. Almost any one who stays here more than a few weeks has measurable improvments in multiple areas of their life. In many cases it is improvement beyond anything we had imagined or even hoped for. (TherapyGirl where are you?) These are not isolated cases. It is a consistent pattern. Measureable improvement in multiple areas of our lives is the norm here.

Now i have been in some unusual places and spent time around some extraordinary people, but I have never seen this consistant pattern of personal improvement anywhere else before. And I have _never_ personally experienced anything like this before in my life.

I would be worried if i thought I was the only one of us whose life was going through these sea changes. Every improvment that any of you reports in your lives, I cheer you on in the hopes that your improvments are so extraordinary as to make mine seem mundane.

This thread more than any other that I have found is finally talking about our physical changes. This something we really should talk about more. Maybe we’ll all get regular with our workouts. I have the 3 yoga stretchs i _try_ to do every day. I know thats not much of a work out. My theory is that after enough days in a row, it reachs a critical mass where it becomes a habit that is easier to continue than to stop. Then I’ll jack it up a notch. Still just a theory.

It is an honest comfort hearing the physical changes that all of you are going through. Am i the only one whose gray hair is going away?

Also, I think, I was actually pretty happy with myself previously, the “90%” of me is in pretty good condition. I did not come to pheromones for any drastically remedial purposes, as some might, more in the spirit of experimentation, and under no illusions that I’d be mobbed the minute I left the house by a crowd of women.

The 90/10 rule that is often quoted on here, well I am beginning to think the truth is more non-linear than that. I can’t put hard percentages on how much is me and how much is pheros when I have gotten used to the chemical messages they are sending out and just get “in the zone”.

In fact, they free me up to be myself, I don’t have to worry about having “game” with women, for example. I don’t have to think about what I say or do to be “cool” in the moment. In fact I just analyse it much later, after the event, and find that I couldn’t have scripted it better.

I think my large combo of about 10 days ago (4x A314, 4x TUTH, 3x IO, 40mcg betanol, 6x Ishine and later on, 6x to-go IFM) - my personal best so far! - has been epochal and has left a permanent impression on me, LOL. Soon after that, I realised my new deep, baritone voice was here to stay.

Not all, but I think a lot of us had initially come here, hoping for a change in our lives, for the better, of course. We were already on a new journey and was looking for something else to add to our new and improved lives. Take me, for example. Last year, same time, same place, my life was completely different. Was contemplating divorce, hubby drank too much, I was stuck in a rut, emotionally and physically…actually it was a really deep, deep, deep ravine.😮 One day, I decided that something had to change and the closest thing I could find was…ME! So I started with that first…attitude (most important!), my relationship with God, my looks, the way I was (wasn’t) taking care of myself, etc. Everything and everyone else around me adjusted and followed suit. Then, as a way to start repairing my relationship (and yes, sex life!😉 ) with hubby, I came here, looking for something to add a little extra spark and to kick it into gear. Boy! I have found so much more than that! I have found even more confidence, more inner-sexiness, deeper conversations (and more truthful ones) with hubby as well as those around me. I have lost more weight, been less stressed, and unexpectedly gained new friends here on the forum.

Thank you for being on such an important journey for me. I really appreciate everyone here taking time out of their busy and complicated lives to respond to my posts!

That’s when “fake until you make it” becomes “I’ve made it!”🙂

Yeah, every now and then in the men’s forum we get a post from some angsty teenager or other who is all like “what [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) can I use to get this girl I’ve been after at school?”, they often start lots of threads with variations on the original question.

(I have to say also, there are many young lads - and lasses - of school/college age who are great contributors to the forum who I have learned a lot from!)

The advice is in these situations - if you’re looking for a quick fix then you will be disappointed…

But if you’re _not_ looking for a quick fix you seem to get one, well a fairly quick one!

This thread has been bouncing around in my head the last few days. I realize that weight loss is a complex process that involves environment and habits and attitudes. I think most of us have enough experience with appetite suppressent diet drugs to know what they feel like. Has anybody felt any appetite suppression from any pheros? Or is it all stimulated metabolism and attitude?

Can’t say I have a suppressed appetite. Nor have I stopped eating junk food. I’m still as much of a greedy pig as ever 😃
But I do think I have lost a little bit round my waistline. There is still quite a bit to go 🙂 - I’d be inclined to say my metabolism might have changed a bit.

I dunno…I haven’t felt like snacking much lately but I don’t know how much, if any, is DIRECTLY attributed to pheros or how much is due to horomone levels, attitude, etc. The brain is such a complex thing, I’m beginning to have my doubts that we will EVER know everything that it does with the multitudes of stimuli that it gets every second. I’ve used diet pills in the past and know what my reactions are…I’m just plain 'ol not hungry and don’t think about eating either. That’s the way I’ve been feeling lately…sorry…no concrete answer for ya OoohYahhh.

Next time I get a snack attack, I’ll have to spray some pheros and see if the urge goes away.

Actually, I found myself less interested in food in recent times. Not because I’m making a conscious effort but because it’s secondary to doing things…

I wouldn’t say it’s the pheros directly but it’s a side-effect of being busier than ever and not taking time to do food.

That being said, when I get in a “food” mood, I can eat like there’s no tomorrow… with the caveat that my stomach size has shrunk, so I can’t eat like I used to.

Hence a circle of less eating and weightloss.

Does that make sense?

Takhisis, which pheros have you been using the most of lately?

I’ve been playing around with a lot of the test mixes lately but I still fall back on IS(A) and Shine when I’m taking a break from “testing”. I really feel good and energized when wearing those 2. I’m just looking for a pattern, that’s all.

Mostly IS/A and TAH. Can’t do [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) because of the cops atm, I can’t stomach them.
