Is it just me, or is the New Posts function of VB simply awful?

It seems that once I get done replying to my PMs, the forum think I’ve read everything new because I’ve been active, and then doesn’t give me all the new posts when I actually hit the “new posts” link.

I then have to look at each forum to see if there’s actually something new.

I think I’m going to see if I can get alternate code for this.

What do you think?

Hey, kid! You’re awake this early on a Saturday??

Anyway, you have this problem, too, huh?

Does it EVER show new posts to you, or does it show just a few new posts, when, in fact, there’s more?

Totally! Though I’m not like you, who neverrrr sleeeepssss…

Never shows new posts for me, and I usually use Firefox (if that makes ANY difference?) It DOES look like a code problem. I don’t think it’s ever worked for me, right. It’s always just showed some kind of new thread, and never any new posts to threads. Don’t ever use it.. I, too, romp around in the several different boards, checking to see what’s new and unanswered.

i see a list of new posts and new threads each time i get here, and over the last week or two it looks as if this forum is really beginning to bloom.

i’m using IE btw, i totally prefer firefox but ever since i tried to use the auto update feature with firefox about six months or so ago and got stuck in the middle of a download that browser has never worked properly again. i’ve tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.
