The semester started about 3 weeks ago and I’ve been using the new “spicy” A314 nearly everyday. Much nicer scent and it blends better with my colognes than last year’s “New Age Hippie” scented A314. Yes, it does have an underlying essence of ass scent. I feel the scent component doesn’t cover the pheromones as well as the early 2007 A314. I’m not complaining as I’d rather smell like spicy ass than an old hippie or headshop incense! I donned a half dozen small drops of A314 and headed off to work. I avoided social and friendly pheromones as I wanted to be in total command of the situation. I direct an evening instrumental ensemble at the local university and, for those that have never played in an orchestra or band, the conductor is like a musical general or dictator. Amazingly students were not only noticeably more respectful and attentive than when I used the older Hippie A314, but most of them personally called my name and said goodnight after class. Normally most of them just walk out. I’m guessing the mix was tweaked since my last purchase as reactions have been more significantly pronounced. Oddly, most of the females–only about 20% of the ensemble–were polite but tended to avoid me. The guys were the ones demonstrating respect. For my lecture and lab courses I used a mix of A314, Instant Shine, and Instant Honesty. I desired an alpha edge but with a glowing friendly undercurrent. And hot damn, the females–mostly Asians 18-22–were unusually friendly, open and talkative. With very little encouragement all hints of shyness were totally out the window. Normally it takes to midterms for them to feel secure enough to open up in class or relate on such a personal basis. The oddest thing I saw day after day is how curious the females were about my personal life. They were actually checking me out. However, the guys were strangely silent. Basically I learned straight A314 is best when you need a tight command structure, e.g., music director. Additional pheromones tend to undermine its effectiveness. However, when acting as a facilitator for discussions A314 straight is too formal and additional [social pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/social-pheromones/) allow a looser social environment without totally undermining the “fatherly alpha” role. Also, androstenol and TAA added to A314 seem to help attract young Asian females… ---

Very interesting. So the females avoided you…you think you put just a little bit too much A314 on? Ugh, I really hope that stuff doesn’t smell like ass! I just plunked down some money for A314 and [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) and I hope they’re both worth it. ---

I also LOVE the new A314…I wish I could return the my old A314 with quite a bit still leftover cuz I know I won’t be touching it ever again. 🙄 ---

Remember my goal was to be the big kahuna as ensemble director, and not to socialize or pick up chicks. I need students to obey my directions without question, not ask about my love life or make small talk. However, as I indicated, by adding androstenol and TAA the same amount of A314 became very female friendly, even embolding normally shy ones. ---

I don’t think it’s listed as “new.” Androtics seems to tweak each new batch–sorta a slow evolutionary change. The scent change is the first thing I noticed. The differing reactions were not apparent until I used it for couple weeks. ---

Hold it upside down and be patient. Over a period of time a uniform-sized drop will form. it may take 10 seconds for the first one. Subsequent ones will come more quickly. ---

I transfer part of a bottle of A314 to a roller ball bottle (old SOE bottle). Works great every time. ---

I recently found letting droplets land on my fingernail made for easier cleanup. Unless you’re one of those people that paint them.
