I’m a 23 year old male living in Dallas. I got out of a long term relationship in december 08 and am trying to get back on the dating scene. I heard about pheromones and read about what they are. I was referred to buy the [ANDROSTENONE PHEROMONE](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) CONCENTRATE. While I was waiting to receive it I searched for some pheromone reviews from people and they all consistently stated that the one I purchased was not effective at all and pherlure is the best on the market so I bought pherlure too. I got both and one smells just like soap and I seen no effects. Pherlure smells good but I also didn’t see any results. I do know what the reasonable results are. I don’t expect women to run up to me or try to rape me but I seen no results at alll. I am a fairly handsome guy and have had women approach me occasionally all my life I’m just a little shy so I don’t have the success that I should have. I decided to make one last and final attempt at phromones and did a lot of reading. I decided to give smarmones my last try so now I am here. I will purchase something in about two weeks I am still trying to decide what I want to purchase. I like the sound of instant shine. So that’s my intro. My question is did anybody use the 2 products that I tried and what was your experience. Second question is what is the best product for me to buy and see results so that I can believe in pheromones again. Please don’t use all the acronymns and abbreviations since I am not that familiar with them and it can confuse me. Thanks. ---

Hi and welcome! In answer to your first question, I have not personally tried either of those products. And in order to recommend products for you, we need to know a bit more about your personality. Also, can you be more specific about what you are thinking of using [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) for? Just for dating, sex, romance? Or work/school situations? ---

Hello and welcome to the forum. A lot of people here have tried Pherlure and most seem to find that some women like the scent and that is pretty much it. Sorry … tisha even posted here once about how to get your money back. APC on the other hand is a solid product. However like any 'none heavy product it can take some practice to find your sweet spot. And then again like any none based product some women will not be receptive at all depending on where they are in their cycle, etc. I think what you may be looking for here from this site would be [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/). It is none based but it is well balanced so it is much better received. You may also want to look into IO. It will help you with those initial conversations. my first was Beau Geste, which was androstanone oil, and then I found out what i was doing wrong(kept Over-Dosing as was the Wife because I applied too much too fast too often). I tripped on this site doing searches for pheromones and hormones, and was very impressed. instant Opennness is great stuff, especially if you have problems opening conversations. you have to initiate the talking to get it to work, but once you can talk, everything else will feel easier. I’ve used it in small dinner groups, and everyone just had a fun time talking about nothing. without it, most shy people conversations are just…awkward. I never felt anything on instant shine, though. it does get golden reviews, so you should test it. Ammo is a good balance, since it has a little androstenone, androstenol, and androsteRone, which is more confidence booster. I mixed mine (v1.0) with Acqua Di Gio 2:1 for an everyday scent. welcome to the forums. you’ll learn more here about people than you will ever learn about pheromones… and these guys and gals know EVERYTHING about pheromones. ---

i thought my post was good enough for the GC. Well i really just want to experiment and find out if pheromones actually work. before i started readin on this forum i thought pheromones were just for sexual attraction but i see that is not the case with smartmones. about me i am a real cool and mature guy. the type people always get advice from. I am very social i just dont open up to people fast so i dont engage strangers in conversations a lot. I make music and im a good guy. that has its downside to it as well. i do have a small confidence problem and i need to be more fun and social so i am really interested in the [social pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/social-pheromones/). once i get that taken care of everything will be just fine. that is what i am missing. my mom had some financial problems come up and im giving her most of my paycheck but i will be making a purchase next week so any advice would be helpful. let me know if you need to know anything else about me to help you in helping me. ---

i have a new question… im getting emails trying to sell me a product chikara has anyone used or heard of this and was it effective. im not really interested in it just curious. i just read one of those emails promoting the product. ---

Based on what you’ve said, Ammo would be a great product for you to start with. It will enhance your confidence and sex appeal, and can be used in any environment. lamar. Yes, I know Chikara, and I do use it. I think it smells very good, one of the best smelling [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/). However I don’t get the results I desire wearing it solo. I personally spice it up with a little turn up the heat or instant jerk and get better results that way. I rate Ammo as a rather similar product to Chikara and either use one or the other on any given day. I hope this helps. Welcome to the forums 🙂 ---

Hmm, I haven’t tried that one. I’ve heard of it though, and I believe it is effective for some people, though not for everyone. ---

Hello Welcome to Pherotalk 🙂 APC is heavy anone and your probably not seeing results because you wearing to much. How much are you using ? Pherlure sucks LOL 😛 Sorry they just do but don’t feel bad they have a great ad campaign and most of us got suckered in at some point, so its like a right of passage 😃 Chikira is a mens product made by love scent. Very hit or miss, some people like it some don’t. I suggest you look into AMMO Ishine and IO to start. This will give you a good balance of products to use.
