# New user saying hello

My uncle used to use one of the original [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) years ago when I was a kid. Was curious and told me about it. It was Contact 18, with the stick applicator. When women were over for parties etc. they used to congregate near him alot and quite obviously. He said the pheromones helped.

Now they are so much more advanced and just placed my first order and I want the $25 voucher so I can order even more. Plan on trying and testing all different mixes and seeing how powerful they can be.

Hey there Pete, welcome to Pherotalk 🙂

As Moonlight outlined neatly above, a good deal of the effectiveness of pheromones is determined by your goals, personality, and how you view yourself.

The introduction giftcard is usually reserved for people that take the time to share a little about themselves 🙂

Don’t worry though, it’s for your own good! Most of the users browsing the introduction forum are well versed in AD products, and we can usually advise you on which products can help you accomplish your goals. Of course, that’s provided we know what your goals are, and what kind of person you are, etc, etc.

It’s cool that you plan on testing and playing with the mixtures 😃
