Your GC is working and fine. You can PM me with the GC issues since they come to me anyways. Usually its something simple like in this case, If its not simple then I will refer you to the hotline.

Its not a coupon , You tried to use it on the coupon page which is why you got the invalid message, Its a Gift certificate and you use it on the payment page. Dont feel bad a lot of members make this mistake 
It dosnt expire so you can use it on your next order.
