Hello, my name is Megan. I am 25 years old (soon to be 26 ::shudder:🙂 and I am female. I’m currently living in Tennessee, in the US. So, I don’t really know how detailed to get with describing myself 🙂 but I’ve never been shy on the internet so here goes. I’m a geek. I read constantly, debate philosophy with my friends, play D and D, watch foreign tv, go to conventions, write stories, and do just about any other geeky thing you can think of. However, I also love camping, climbing trees, playing airsoft, and fishing. I’m a bit of an odd duck. I’m so manly, my friends call me "Man"gen, but I secretly love all things cute and frilly. I’m an inherently shy person, especially around boys, but if you put me in a large group I turn into extrovert. I’ve only ever had one boyfriend, and he was so socially inept he never went beyond holding my hand. I’m so intimidated by men, that I tend to only go for those guys that I feel are non-threatening, and then I discover they are _soo_ not my type. However, the type of guys I like are the ones that are attracted to confidence and sensuality, neither of which I have. Silly unstoppable loops. Being a tomboy like I am, I’ve never been comfortable with displays of sexuality. I can play the innocent girl, or the brash tomboy, but ask me to be sexy and I’ll feel like a buffoon. Now, currently, I’m on this insane quest to redifine myself. I’m going for a full life makeover. Weight loss, exercise, going for big goals, and stuff like that. I just feel like having some fun with myself for once, seeing what I can do with what I have. I’d like to add a sensuality makeover as well, but since I know nothing about being a grown woman (as apposed to brash "Man"gen) I turned to the net for plans. I’m pretty sure it was a Google-foo session that led me to this site, but I can’t tell you the specifics of the search, cause I don’t remember. I’ve looked around a little, reading a few things in the forum and trying to get to know the kind of people who come here. I’ve got to say, I love the feeling of scientific research that you guys have going on here. It makes it easier when you take the emotions out of it and just go for the pure science. I don’t know much about [pheromones](https://a314.com/), other than the fact that animals have them and we don’t know if humans do. I don’t really care if they actually work, or if they just have a psychological effect, cause frankly I could use either. I’m not looking for a miracle spray that’ll make men jump into my lap 🙂. I just want men to look at me, and notice I’m female. I don’t think I’d know what to do if they _did_ jump into my lap. I just want to be the woman, that when she walks into a room heads turn. I’m looking for confidence the most, and attraction if I can get it. Honestly though, I’ll probably get just as much help from the forum as I would from the sprays. Sorry about the babble, I know I said I’m shy, but apparently only when it comes to men and sexuality. Every thing else, and I’d tell you my life’s story without so much as blushing. 🙂 Nice to meet you, in advance. Believe me, you are just a baby with your whole life ahead of you. I am 47, and just a baby myself. Hello ZMaiden, welcome to the forum!! Good luck on your life improvement plan, it sounds like you’re going for big things and I have no doubt you’ll succeed. Confidence and attraction, hmm? Hello ZMaiden!! It’s very nice to meet you 🙂 You remind me of myself… I tend to be very shy around guys (also a bit awkward). I would never consider myself to be naturally sexy, but more “cute” and “goofy” 🙄. When it comes to my goofy/dorkyness I sometimes wish to be different, but I have to remember that thats who I am and it’s what makes me special.
