**Introduction:**

Dosages and other related information

15 mcg TAC

Approximately 8-9 mcg of TUTH (1.5 sprays of 2x strength from a togo bottle)

2 sprays of double strength [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/)

All mones were applied to the front, left, and right side of my neck. They were also about 5 years old, kept in a dark cabinet; however, they could have been subjected to heat and humidity. This may have a caused slight evaporation of the alcohol and made the products more potent.

**Report:**

Tonight I went to a very busy nightclub, which was crawling left and right with beautiful women. Despite it being busy, the club is relatively small. Nightclubs, I believe, call for a different approach to mones. If your mix is too complex you’ll never be noticed, too strong and you’ll be ignored, or over-saturated with socials and you won’t be taken seriously. I spend most of my time on the dance floor because I am a hip-hop dancer, so with that environment especially, I need a bold, “get to the point” pheromone signature. TAC is well known to buffer none, so I felt as though with 15 mcg, I could get away with more none than I would generally wear.

Upon entering I made my way over to the bar to get a drink. I saw a woman waiting in line next to me giving me a DIHL. She stared at me for about 10 seconds before she finally reached and stroked my hair. Was it a hit? Probably, although I’ve had women do that before to me. She was older, though, so she may have been responding to the increase in none I was wearing

Then I went to the dance floor, and some really interesting things happened. I decided to go to the middle of the floor because positioning is everything. You can’t really do much if you’re near a group of guys, so I made sure to dance around females. I noticed that some women were looking up at me, and whispering into their friends’ ears, but I didn’t make eye contact. I always let the women “come to me,” while I’m dancing and having fun. These women (and others) for some reason decided to move out of their original position and give me proximity. They were so close to me that they were touching me. They probably wanted to dance with me, but still, I minded my own business to see if they would actually make the first move and approach me.

This was a trend throughout the beginning of the night: Women would walk away from the other guys and gather in very close to me, and then disperse for some reason. Almost like they were thinking, “Should I talk to him, is it worth it?”

I feel as though they came close to doing that, but for some reason they did not follow through. It could be that they interpreted my not talking to them as disinterest, but it could have also been that my none was too much. 8 to 9 mcg is a lot for me. I am 25 years old.

By the middle/end of the night I was sweating like crazy. My skin bacteria may have converted the nols to none, causing an OD. However, I was only there for an hour. Towards the end of the night, the polar opposite happened: I received no looks, no proximity, nothing. I was getting completely ignored.

**Conclusion:**

All in all, an interesting night. The combination seemed to get quick hits in the beginning of the night, but then steadily decline as the night went on. Again, the club was small, so if I went to a different venue I may have gotten more reactions. TAC seemed to buffer the none well in the beginning of the night, but as I sweated, it seemed to loose its overall effect. Obviously I can’t say for certain, but it’s a theory as most of these things are.

Thanks for reading.

Tac always seemed to buffer TUTH well for me, and I would say the results were even better as time progressed. Nice report.

Good report.

Unlikely. Bacterial oxidation of alpha nol to -enone is in the armpit. You have seen TV does advertise underarm but not neck deodorant. That is why. TAC is very volatile. Your buffer may have diffused away in 2 hours.

> The generation of malodour on various sites of the human body is caused by the microbial biotransformation of odourless natural secretions into volatile odorous molecules. On the skin surface, distinctive odours emanate, in particular, from the underarm (axilla), where a large and permanent population of microorganisms thrives on secretions from the eccrine, apocrine and sebaceous glands.

[Microbiological and biochemical origins of human axillary odour. - PubMed - NCBI](http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23278215)

This has been in the literature for over 30 years.

We do have some medical people here. I will entertain discussion from anyone who cites an academic source on quantitatively measured conversions on the exposed skin limbs and neck.

Neck, hair and wrist/forearm app points should not be an issue. Women use IO often. They report no conversions and no -enone OD. Spray your pits and you will.

The abstract is mentioning apocrine (not brow/eccrine sweat) secretions. The androstenol / -enone conversion is bidirectional in a lab. Except attacking the 3-keto double bond with a reagent is not stereospecific it makes more than just alpha nol.

[Pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/) websites have been going with this conversion business for 15 years now with no meaningful chemistry discussion. Honestly all the textbooks deal with chest and armpit. That’s where all the research money for Axe, Secret, Right Guard whatever goes to. They take pit swabs and run an analysis they never bother with neck or wrists. It’s not relevant.

Thank God I have never worried about wrists BO on suits or dress shirts it does not happen. To me. Or in the textbooks.

Thanks for your message, and I agree that the apocrine gland is where most body odor comes from. The apocrine glands are interesting. It’s where most androstenone and androstenol is produced, which are steroids. The sweat in apocrine glands is different from the eccrine glands, in the respect that it breaks down into B.O. whereas eccrine sweat is relatively odorless.

Here’s the issue I’m curious about: If we are spraying synthetic androstenol, which is native to the axillary region for the most part, on areas that do not naturally produce that substance, can we really say with 100% certainty that after sweating, skin bacteria around the eccrine glands would not potentially transfer it to B.O. or androstenone?

Of course there have been no studies, as far as I can tell, that can prove this. But until studies are performed, I’ll still be “concerned” about it, since it’s hard to say “for sure” that the transformation wouldn’t happen.

There are really entire giant books. MANY studies. They have never seen a need to sample most skin areas because people dont experience BO on the wrists. Bacteria thrive in warm, dark, moist areas. Sunlight and oxygen kill bacteria. UV light does. Bingo you have bacteria in the pits.

So yes if outdoor laborers had smelly arms and necks they would sell antibacterial triclosan deodorant for it. They don’t. The studies don’t even consider it worth spending time on. It is a non-issue.

You should no more be concerned than of alien visitors on your lawn. IO is a unisex product. So you spray 3 sprays at work. Male or female. Where is the -enone OD? Androtics won’t sell -enone OD as a work product.

Are you seeing reports on this board of daytime -enone OD from IO by itself? Link them if you do. I never have. Not one. Not ever.

They won’t sell IO to women or suggest neck apps if there is a -enone OD risk to girls. Women have BO. Women wear deodorant. Women make -enone. In the underarm. That’s where the bacteria and -enone is.

To answer your question, no I have never seen reports of daytime OD from instant openness turning to enone. My concern, though, isn’t really geared towards the daytime. I’m more interested in the night, in a dark and humid environment (like the dance floor), where there’s no sunlight to kill the bacteria.

Because pheromone users are such an extremely niche population, it’s unlikely that any university or organization would fork out the money to perform a study researching potential transformation of synthetic androstenol to enone separate from the axillary glands.

But the lack of research opens doors to possibilities, since there’s no conclusive evidence stating for sure that the transformation wouldn’t happen. I’m skeptical because of that. But also because of the environment I’m in, and the fact that I’m spraying molecules which are typically made in the apocrine gland on my eccrine glands. My neck and other skin areas are extremely moist when I’m dancing and it’s dark. Sometimes I spend as long as 3 hours on the dance floor: most pheromone users probably don’t do this. So I’m not sure if my situation is a special circumstance, but I will continue reporting/testing. I may try to just apply socials without enone, and see what happens. Interesting, nonetheless.

Use straight IO. Same app points. Sweat. Check for OD. Report findings. You will have your answer.
